The
hotel
is
small
and
nestled
in
an
alleyway
off
from
the
bustling
street
near
Planet
Mall.
While
the
exterior
and
surrounding
areas
left
much
to
be
desired,
the
interior
provided
a
pleasant
surprise.
Despite
its
dilapidated
exterior,
graying
whitewash,
and
dirty
doormats,
the
hotel's
interior
was
notably
clean
and
well-kept.
The
room,
especially
the
toilet,
was
impressively
clean.
The
shower
had
a
minor
leak,
but
it
was
not
a
major
concern.
The
food
at
the
hotel
had
a
strong
Indian
influence,
so
I
preferred
to
dine
elsewhere
during
my
5-night
stay.
The
daily
breakfast
was
the
same
and
consisted
of
bread,
puri,
curry,
tea,
coffee,
three
South
Indian
dishes,
and
two
fruit
items,
one
being
watermelon.
Despite
the
language
barrier
with
the
reception
staff
who
didn't
speak
English,
I
was
able
to
communicate
using
a
mix
of
Hindi,
Nepali,
and
English.
The
restaurant
staff,
on
the
other
hand,
were
very
friendly
and
readily
available
when
needed.
Overall,
the
hotel
exceeded
my
initial
expectations
given
its
external
appearance.
