We booked this guesthouse as a temporary waiting stay in Siliguri since our return train from NJP to SDAH was in the morning 7:00 am and we had to wait out in Siliguri for the night of 31st to catch that train early morning. The guest house is located conveniently and checkin experience was mostly hassle-free. Having said that it's 1600 a night is 40% overpriced. Following are the points to note: 1. It is horribly dirty. The entire property right from the lift area to the outside of the rooms is just filled with gunk. 2. The rooms, although clean had no toiletries and the toilet seat was having feces lined up on it which we had to sanitize ourselves. 3. The caretaker although behaving very courteously during checkin was horribly rude and yelled at us during the checkout in the morning. a. He was not around in the reception after 9:30 pm when we had tried to call and inform we would have an early checkout at 5:30 am. b. Later, when we tried to reach to his cellphone, he informed us to get to the reception area and later yelled at us since we hadn't brought our luggage with us, and he had asked us to come together as his sleep got disrupted and he was not happy. c. Later he didn't allow us to wait inside for booking a cab and as he was in his shorts and he was cold, he pushed us outside and he want back to sleep. For the staff behaviour and how egregiously dirty the hotel in general is, if possible, completely avoid this guesthouse at all costs!!

It was a great experience staying in Shambhunath Guest house . Their welcoming nature , the ambience the services were the best thing i liked. I stayed for 2 days with my family and friends . Planning to visit again.

Location is very much convenient, easy to reach Bus Terminus, Siliguri Junction and NJP Railway station as well as Bagdogra Airport. Situated at Heart of the town in terms of travel and Business purposes. I felt this Guest house area is very safe with very good hospitality.

I stayed there in 2020. Rooms are big, lights are good enough, toilets are well washed and the rooms are well maintained.

The room is in good condition and clean as well. The behaviour of the recipient's was also good. It's also budget friendly and couple friendly too.

Worst experience of my lifetime was at this hotel till now.....the uncle at receptionist is just a money hungry human . He will find any kind of excuse to ask you for more money ... There are better hotels available than this .. Don't go .

Best Budget Friendly Hotel located at the Heart of Siliguri Town. It's just opposite of Hongkong Market and Sevoke More.

Location is the best with all the basic facilities available. All rooms are Airconditioner, Geyser, Tea & Coffee facility in room available. The property has Lift facility for easy access. Staff are very helpful.

Not satisfied with the service. Rooms feel years old. Charges too much. There's a land line in the room but they never respond to ur call.

Comfortable stay & best room service and really appreciate the effort put in to make your guest comfortable. I wish you all the very best.

Located at the heart of the Siliguri town favourably placed to cater to both tourists as well as businessmen travelling to Siliguri via train or flight. The hotel present excellent amenities in pocket friendly manner. Hence you can avail a longer stay at the hotel without taxing your pocket much. Rooms are clean and staffs are cordial supporting you with anything you require during your stay. Very near to the market area which forms and add on for shopping enthuciasts.

Rooms are slightly over priced but hotel manager is very good & polite. Location is easy to find . overall Its good.

I was expecting an average stay considering the price and the town, but this didn't meet those expectations Let me start with some positives: -Host: The host was responsive before the booking and when I couldn't find the location -Check in and check out: The check in and check out timings were helpful and better than other places at this price -The bathroom was clean Cons: - The location in the reservation is not accurate. The actual location is a 10 minute walk away - The hotel closes it's doors at 10:30 p.m. which isn't mentioned in the description or the reservation. I don't know if this is a practice in Siliguri, but it came as a surprise to me - Apart from the bathroom, the rest of the room and the common areas aren't that clean. The bedsheets and pillows already had stains on them - The room had a problem with too many mosquitoes and there was no mosquito coil provided

This was my worst experience of hotel stays. They have done unbelievable things which compelled me to write a review. I am mentioning few points. Please read it so that you'll not be succumbed to such problematic experience. 1. The hotel room had very dimmed light and nasty bathroom (toilet seat had spots of feces) 2. Myriad mosquitoes where there in the room. 3. They have stolen our clothes including some undergarments. Actually we had to travel to darjeeling for 3 days so we've asked the hotel manager or receptionist to keep our luggage for that period, on which they have totally agreed, but we somehow couldn't lock our trolly (luggage). After returning we realized that our clothes were missing. We even asked the manager to check for them but he didn't take any time to deny and infact blamed us of being careless.
