Price was ok.. all staff were good.good hospitality..biriyani was fine..the alu in the biriyani was smelling bad. Definitely not fresh at all. Taste of biriyani not so good..road side biriyani tastes far better than this .. a large high drain is there...outside view is garbage

Visited this place for sometime before boarding the bus from Siliguri. This place is huge but they are short on staffs. I asked for regular water and the waiter said it was not available. Instead got a bottle of mineral water. Next table got a different waiter and they got regular water. Wow! The food is good here. The prices are also reasonable. Beer is served here. Washrooms are not clean though but can be manageable. If you are in a hurry, need to catch a bus quickly, this place is not suggested since they are a bit slow.

I wend for lunch, time was around 1 pm. Firstly I didn't get any cleaned table for 5 mins then I got one after waiting of 20 mins I myself called a person to take order and ask him a menu. The guy gave the menu then told me that it will take another one hour to prepare what ever i may order. I said it's OK. I go throw the menu card I decided to order something but the guy handover the menu to me was not waited for my order and also not even came back to my table. So I left the restaurant and leave

I would like to give - ( minus reviews ) if that would be in preference. Plz never visit, ( Sher e Punjab ) this, restaurant, bar, also dont book any private hall service for this place, they running a big restaurant, hotel and say we don't have gazar, they dont allow us to sit in restaurant when they have Shutter open at 9 pm saying to shift in public bar restaurant where we are family tried to sit in family restaurant of there's , the waiter is very arrogant, not any service need to go and call the waiter again and again, also If I speak on particular drink they served us sprite an our order was fresh lime soda and when asked to the waiter he said it's fresh lime soda, actually the thing is the waiter is himself so much drunk, he keeps on asking the same question again and again on giving orders also.he doens't have any paper pad or can remember just keeps on aksing.this is 6th time I am facing the same consequences.now finally left over them and so would advise others plz don't visit them and waste your Money. Plz belive never book or think for this hotel Sher e Punjab..just they are in main road this doesn't mean they can do whatever. Thank you. 🙏

Service is utterly poor.....no welcome i have to ask for water 4times to different persons...no one there to take your orders I have to wait 30min to place my order though there were no such rush at the restuarant every one is busy to chit chat with each other

Worst food, they don’t know how to make tandoori roti. The tandoori roti was just pathetic. Ruined the day. Ambience was good but food was pathetic.

Spacious, well-lit, tables spread out in standard format. Eye sore was the floor.The air-conditioning was pathetic. However the food was standard. The mutton Biriyani was very good indeed. However the waiters need to be more attentive.

Purchased two plate mutton biriyani and packed it for train. Could not able to eat as very bad smell was coming from the biriyani. They are cheat. Most probably they used very bad quality oil. Do not eat/ parcel from there. Not recommended at all.

Poor to the core. Part of Saayien Residency(next door). Most Staff is arrogant & inexperienced. I had stayed in the same hotel in a time gap of 1 week. Rebooking was a pain, the hotel staff assured me that they will give me a call back but they never did, I had to call them again. Upon reaching the hotel after a hectic travel, an unprofessional receptionist named “Aakash” who had no idea about the checkin made our experience more pathetic. The so called General Manager was only there to stand. Ladies were not offered a seat, the food in restaurant is cooked by roadside vendors just outside the hotel. Another staff “vishal” at reception of Saayein Residency asked me to “chill”, like a very unprofessional and uneducated person. Rooms are over rated with faults such as no water & dirty walls & sheets; unfinished furnishings, missing sockets. Overall, if you have no option left, still avoid both these places.

Food is good but serving is not upto the mark. I think the serving the serving and the qty. Of food can be more appropriate. One full plate paneer is not sufficient for two persons.

Went in for lunch. Half of the things were not available. Ordered chicken, we were offered fish in the guise of chicken. The food is horrendous. If you like nice posh looking places that'll serve you sub par food this is your place. Otherwise, roadside dhabas are better go to.

Only good thing about this place is its ambience. The server was sloppy and confused. Most of the items in the menu were not available. The server messed up the starter by adding gravy in it even though we strictly ordered dry one. Malai Kofta was bland and horrible. The server messed up in the bill also. Most of the breads were also not available. Will not visit again.

Went in on 1st jan since it’s a big name. No one came to the table for 15 minutes , table was dirty. After that finally got hold of one waiter who told it will take 30 minutes for food. We had time and we agreed but they needed time to clean the table also. Another 10 minute passed by no one came to take order . Again called one person and finally order was placed and table cleaned. After another 20 minutes simple order of one dum biriyani and one hyderabadi biriyani came. Now which is dum biriyani ? Server had no clue . Believe me she poured the whole handy on plate to identify. Disgusted we started eating . They haven’t even given a class. After telling one person for the 3 times it didn’t worked. Finally shouted and asked for it. After another 5 minutes it was delivered. Only thing which we got instantly was the bill. There were around 5 people on floor. They might be short staffed in kitchen but the horrendous experience is not justified. People go in a place for warmth and quality food. I sincerely suggest everyone to avoid this place. Better go somewhere where customers are valued.

No test in food. Mr manager plz training ur chef immediately.. totally waste of money. Mutton curry test is like dal tadka,, and nothing to say about mushroom masala test.

I was ordered Hyderabadi chicken biryani, that was so pathetic even the chicken pieces are not fresh artificial color was mix with rice to get garnishment, didn't get any taste of biryani. Staffs are also awkward, they only gave attention to the nepali families came to there.

Location is good. Price is little high. But what disgusted me that they don’t offer water for free. You have to pay to have water. I was carrying my own water bottle, that's why didn’t bother to buy water from them.

Located just opposite the Tenzing Norgay bus stand. I went there at the evening. Service is a little slow. Soup was fine. Biriyani not that good. Though they gave 1 potato 1 egg & 2 chickens for 195 in the Biriyani

One of the worst customer service ever faced in a restaurant. The waiter took my order prior to 35 mins before the food was served. I had ordered a Non veg meal and Mutton Biryani. The food being served was neither hot nor tasty at all. The mutton Biryani neither had any smell nor any flavour. I didn't take a bite of it as it was cold and seemed so tasteless. It was a complete waste of money.

Most Disgusting , high price low quality food. I will suggest all of you not to go there. If you want to waste your money, then you can.

We went to the restaurant to get some food for takeaway. As per the suggestion of the staff of the restaurant, we had ordered Tandoori (Half Plate), 2 Butter Naan and 1 Handi Mutton. Tandoori and Naan were fine but we were hugely disappointed with the taste of mutton because it said that the dish was mutton handi but there was no taste of mutton and we were confused about the order that we had placed. The mutton was prepared in the same curry which is being served as a curry for other dishes like paneer, chicken etc. Horrendous experience with mutton.

Very bad experience. Now a days food quality issues is arising. Order chicken biryani which was completely spill. Also the food became sour as it might have been cooked in the morning and delivered at night. Never expected such. Shame on such a quality brand name Sher e Punjab. I will never ever order again.

Had come here for dinner..the staff was in a hurry to take order though there were only 4 people in the entire restaurant. Chicken kabad was stale. Paneer was good..chicken tadka was pathetic
