It's was a very good experience staying at sonartari residency. They treat everyone very honestly and like a family. The rooms had heavenly appearance . They were very tidy and clean . The toilets were cleaned regularly. The behaviour of the staff was marvellous. The food service given by the hotel was gorgeous. Good place to stay... the housekeeping guyz are amazing and very helpful. The only issue was one of the housekeeping guyz spoke only Bengali and it made communication challenging, having said that he was extremely helpful. The location too is central and local transport is easily available. Would definitely recommend.

Good: 1. Located at a crowded place, so location wise this place is a gem. 2. Pretty good connectivity to different areas and airport. I took a early morning flight and got a tuktuk for 200 rupees with a lot of luggage. 3. Food options are available. 4. They are taking bookings over phone as well. 5. Staffs are friendly and helpful. 6. They have lift. 7. The Room was bit compact. 8. Queen size bed and hot running water. Bad: 1. I found pillows and bedsheets were not washed properly. Please find the photographs taken of the property.

Went to have meeting ,Was easy to park the Car ,easy to access, cleanliness is good enough.. ELEVATOR facility is a big deal ,goot to see .

Double bedded room only. At 1000 INR. No unmarried couple allowed here. Rooms are good. And have a lot of space. Wardrobe, Mirror, Tv, AC, Table and Sofa.

Good budget hotel. Specially food. It is awesome. For the bengali tourist from or to Darjeeling / Sikkim should avoid hotel at Bagdogra. This hotel is little bit inside from Highway at Shivmandir Junction (about 100 m) left hand (facing towards Siliguri). Morning walkers can avail the ground just opposite of this hotel.

RISK FOR YOUR LIFE !! ... AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL Unprofessional and damp rooms . No food . They sell rooms at high price compared to what they give. My 2nd Visit .... I visited again stayed for two night ( Booking on 17/08/19). There is absolutely no improvement. There is further degradation in behavior of staff and quality of rooms. Rooms do not have ventilation. You will find cockroaches all over the bed .. You will be terrified to see the cockroaches and other insects running over your body even in toilets. Rooms are stinking and damp . You will fall sick .... one of the most horrible hotel in the area. No value for money. In the event of confirmed booking this hotels turns away their guest asking them to get refunds from OYO. Hotel's standard line of response -> "We apologize for your your experience ............." NO SENSE TO APOLOGIES .... NO APOLOGIES ..JUST FOOLING CUSTOMERS Hotel is locked from outside after 10 pm . Customers inside the hotel are left at the mercy of God only. In case of fire you cant come out OR In case of any medical emergency your are trapped inside and will be left to die....

Never book this hotel.. we have booked it for 7 people for one night through oyo and we have already paid for this and our booking was also booked . But the hotel manager told us that their room was fully booked. And he denied us to give the booked room. In night we have to stay 4hr outside.we have also female member.oyo it's a request to u plz remove this hotel from ur platform.

Sonartari Residency located in Kadamtala district - Darjeeling. I stayed there 1 night. Hotel management is very poor, room is very dirty, pillow covers, quilt covers and bedsheets are very dirty. Wash room also very dirty. I asked the hotel staff to change but they ignored me. Yet they need to know more, they don't even know what hospitality is in the tourism industry. I had a terrible night. Talking about hospitality, I will give only 1 star. all together

Very bad. I was here on 21st May 2022. Over all experience was very bad.Hospitality was bad,the staff's attitude was bad. I was about to stay one more night but couldn't,all because of unfriendly attitude of staff's .

Booked the room from oyo .but when we reached hotel they denied the booking and told us to cancel the online booking and book the room offline with higher rate as it was durgapuja time they said it will be charged at a higher rate.We were lucky that we didn't paid full advance amount.but this is unacceptable from the hotel as well as OYO rooms specially. I assure that i will take some serious steps against hotel and oyo .we really faced huge trouble as we were travelling from very long distance. I request oyo to see to it . Don't book this hotel at any cost.

I would suggest not to stay even during the transit as you will get lot of good hotels near the airport. They asked me to cancel the booking which I did through OYO and then asked me to give cash as they don't accept card also. There is a big OYO board outside the hotel. If they don't want to provide service via OYO, I don't understand why they want the board.

Decent hotel for an overnight stay. Do not expect much from here. Located right opposite to a college.

Average but its not fully hotel

It's a we'll maintained hotel!! But it's quite strange that, the worker of this hotel doesnot wait behind door after knocking... Directly he enters into the room without permission.... This is my objection.... He doesn't wait... Even he hasn't come to clean room when I booked my room for two days! It's my request to the owners of this hotel that please tell something for that manner!!

rooms are good but room service poor. location wise good location.

I was stayed there 4 times during my graduation. It was quite OK.. But love that crowdy side just in front of that lodge.. Overall OK.
