This is one of the best homestays I stayed in. And I feel this one is the best in Sittong based on the location. It is well mentained and beautifully managed. They won't give you a single chance of complaining. And the food, mouthwatering, the chef is so good. They have variety of options in breakfast , in lunch they served fish also, which is almost a delight for most of the bengalis. Loved staying there. They have cottage and standard rooms as well. If you are planning to visit alone or couple, I would suggest you to take cottage room. Please visit sittong and if you do, stay there.

'A Home far from Home' suits the best. Clean, Spacious rooms & bathrooms, lovely environment and the ambience make it feel like home. Excellent hospitality, Outstanding service, Co-operative owner and helpful staffs - all that a tourist need. And the variety of simple but tasty food, bonfire, barbeque made my stay more memorable. Can't forget the evenings spend in the yard. Rishan Cottages also have personal car parking space. Will visit again.

One of the best home stay I have ever visited . Thai is the second time I am visited over there and believe me the hospitality was as good as the first time.. I didn’t feel that I was away from home.. Special thanks to Saikat and Reshma for giving us a warm cozy space and lastly o do suggest to peep into this place I assure you will be in love with the place and the people too.

It was an amazing experience of mine. We were lucky enough that we could see kanchenjunga range as well. Food was amazing and tasty , and they also arranged bonfire 🔥 . Staffs are very much curtious. Very attentive.

Excellent hospitality, delightful food. Only, they shouldn't allow playing music in the garden. Barring this, this homestay is probably THE best in Sittong.

Amazing property....stayed there for 2 nights in November '22. They arranged barbeque and camp fire for us.

We were here with Family in March, 2023. It was a pleasant stay. We selected their Deluxe Cottage. It was big, nice & yet a cozy room with all the basic amenities. Beautiful mountain views from the room. The stay was a package including all meals. Though the package was like homestay, however, it was bit commercialized To be honest Reshma ji was super & was always there for anything required, however, being from Hospitality background & a vivid traveller I would suggest the rest of the people & there service guys need to carry a smile irrespective how busy it is & bit more flexible from customer centricity standardpoint Overall it was a Good experience

Very pleasant experience in staying here. We have been there from 19th Nov - 21st Nov, the location, rooms, service everything is so satisfying, highly recommended if someone is going to visit Sittong.

Very good place and the behavior is very good. Rooms are well maintained with all facilities. Food quality is excellent. We stayed for 2 days in August 26 to 27 2023. View is very good. Chicken 65 & dry chili chicken is awesome 👌.

If u want to detox and gift urself some peace... Then this is THE PLACE!!! Absolute bliss in the lap of nature, with picturesque cottages. Great food, nice people... Simply superb.

The place was amazing. It was neat and clean and the staff was very cooperative. And the best part was the fresh, hot plate of food we got to eat for every meal. I highly recommend this place for your next vacation.

4.5/5 Awesome view of the Kanchenjunga range from the cottage. Rooms are spacious and perfect for short stay. The washroom is ok. The food served was delicious, one can enjoy great views of the city and the mountains from the dining hall. The gardens, the terrace view was amazing. The road to the cottage is steep and not convenient. Had a memorable trip and will come back again.

Spacious room, good service, great vew of hills. I stayed in super delux Cottage no 3. I recommend to book cottages rather than delux rooms adjucent to the dining. There are three super delux cottages at an elevation, cottage no 1 being the first and then the remaining two in a row. Pros 1. Clean spacious room and bathroom. 2. Delicious food. Fish curry available. 3. Good service by the staff. 4. Ample area inside, space for car parking and a sitting area from where one can gaze on the distant mountains. 5. Could pay online the entire money before check out. Cons. Not much, but hot water was not available in the basin of the washroom. Management should look into it. Geyser is there. So it requires a little plumbing work. That's all. PS. This is more like a resort rather than a homestay. For elderly people not willing to negotiate staircase at all , book delux cottage / rooms adjucent to the dining room. Though elevation of the super delux cottages is not much. Though very near to sitting market but away from the hustle and bustle of market. SBI ATM is nearby.

Perfectly fine, as all things should be. Wonderful wonderful hospitality. The food, The Snacks, the area to sit in front where you can enjoy the Sun, Security, everything was top notch. Who knows, in future, will visit again.

This is hands down one of the best homestays I've ever been in North Bengal. Though the road is a bit difficult for car and the altitude is bit lower, I would love to go back there anytime. The room we got was hugely spacious even for five people, with direct mountain view. And you can actually spend an entire day in the beautiful garden and the gazebo. A walk through the village was very charming. We chatted a lot with the Bengali owner cum host of the property. The tasty meals with local dishes was another perk. And of course, you can have a memorable bonfire night as we did.

Staffs are very very sweet and well behaved young smart boys.Owner Saikat Sen is very much professional and gentleman.I would like to be there again in future. ******* five star is not enough.

Everything is good. But one thing I must highlight that you have to purchase package drinking water separately as there is no free service of water while having breakfast/lunch/dinner in their restaurant... atleast we weren't served! They served only 1ltr bottle of water per head, per day free of cost.

Based on the reviews I trusted this hotel and booked for 2 nights. I will divide the review in the following parts- Room- 4/5 Rooms are decent and clean. Most of the things are fine and however the should mentain the proper hygyne( We discoverd spider in the room), few lights of the room are not working. Location -5/5 Location is also good and placed in good locality where local market is in 2 mins of walking distance. Service- 0/5 - They don't know what guest satisfaction is or how to delight a guest so that the guest comes again. - Staffs are not properly as they don't know the proper way to communicate with a Guest. At times they went disrespectful and which is not really acceptable. The way they talk with guests are not proper and approach is really not acceptable. - They behaved very rudely when asked for demostrating the Geyser operations twice. - Their Door locking facility was not working properly they behaved rudely. Food (Tastewise) - 2/5 Food taste was average. Charges Pattern and System - 0/5 - They will not provide you extra water outside of package in free of cost. They took 25 INR for 1 Litr drinkable water. They refused to provide regular drinkable water. - In breakfast they provide Tea. They asked me to pay extra while I requested for Tea just 15 mins earlier from the usual breakfast. Hotel industry runs on Word of Mouth. If guests are not happy then they won't come again and also not recommend to anyone. I was also having a great expectations regarding this hotel after seeing the reviews in google but later on I realised that all these reviews are faked or maybe paid. Finally, even if the rooms are good but their service is not, so I won't recommend this property to anyone. Thanks.

Worst service by the caretaker over there. Very rude behaviour. Me and my wife visited this place by booking through someone named Nabanita from Siliguri. Room was clean but some bad smell was there. Quality of food is worst. My wife was vomiting and her health condition detoriated and I requested to cancel 1 day booking to him as well to Nabanita. But they both didn’t agree to cancel the booking for one day and asked me to pay full price forcefully. They didn’t want to listen anything. Even worst thing was from 6pm onwards they allowed other guest to fit DJ BOX with loud sound and totally wasted the others evening time. Loud noise continues till 9pm. Worst experience ever had in such a beautiful nature surrounded place. Never go to such homestay better choose wisely.

Location and room was good but their services were pathetic... Pros: 1) Room (deluxe cottages) was very good neat and clean..so was bathroom 2) Location was good 3) theme of the homestay was good(it may be compared with a 3star hotel) 4) They can arrange travel car very fast with reasonable price. Cons: 1) Room services was not provided very well 2)they will not provide food in your room 3)there was no room heater (you have to rent it) 4) they provide breakfast on or after 9am ...even if you request 10min before they will not provide... their refusing attitude was quite disrespectful...They didn't parcel my breakfast on my sight seeing day... saying that they don't have enough parcel pot. 5) there was almost 5 to 6 pet(cat and dog) which will enter in your balcony after eating all those waste food of bone fire on previous day(not cleared) 6)No TV(at least after sunset) 7) No service personnel will call you Sir or madam...some of them don't have basic manners...never say Goodmorning or anything...all of them(at least 4 or 5) will Lough loudly seeing TV in the dinning room where you will be taking your meal with your wife... 8)they have very less food options 9) they will charge you for anything you order within your package even before 10min(they charged me for coffee and after 10min they bring the same for free(package) which I refused 10)Owner of the homestay should be more cheerful and interactive and should have a watchful eye on those service personnel

Shittong is just for staying inside the room and enjoy the cottage & nature. Cottage was beautiful. Tea was available and good 💖 The overall price was reasonable. Food was good. You can bonfire at evening. They will provide everything to you. One must try here, the local drink, that was awesome and that was good for health 💖 One thing, cottage will not provide the room heater, that's the worst part of this cottage 🥱🥱
