A good religious place with scenic view. Although approaching road is narrow but managed. The road has round curve at some point up to the hill so you need to drive carefully. Many devotees park there vehicles on the roadside due to which road jams are occurring. You can drive your vehicle up to the main temple, they will charge you 100 Rs. The way to the main temple has hundreds of steps, crowded and encroached by shop keepers (from parking to the entrance of the temple) but that shouldn't bother you if you are used to of such views. The view along the way is amazing though. If you have problem in walking, there is a facility of ropeway from the base of the hill which takes you very close to temple. A beautiful view of Govind Sagar Lake can be captured from hill top. Langar is available near to temple. Hotels are also available to stay there. Avoid on weekends/festival season if you can as it remains crowded on weekend and festival season. We went on Sunday and reached at 12 pm there when the gate was closed. It opened at 12:30 again..so we had to wait till the gate is open. Moreover due to huge rush they allowed you to just a few seconds glance at the main idol. It was an amazing experience, I suggest you should visit at least once with your family there.

Maa mahisasur mardani ( Naina Devi) in the swaroop of Nayan (eyes) reside in this shrine. Maa Jwalaji comes here in the form of Jyoti and at that time lot of thunderstorm and lightning will be seen. Weather is awesome. Many ways to reach temple. Cable car option is also available. Yagyashalaa is very famous as Sikh guru Gobind Singh je performed yagya here for more than a year.

The temple of Shri Naina Devi is a very famous temple. It's 3 pindi here. This is a Hindu region temple, but there are many sikh to be learned here. This temple is very famous. People from all over India come here and every wish is fulfilled here. Like a very warm vow, it is fulfilled for children. If someone does not have a child, then he should ask for his vow at this Naina Devi temple His wish is fulfilled. There is a ropeway facility to reach the temple of Naina Devi and the car also goes upstairs near the temple and you want to come by stairs. The chest also comes from the very stairs. Rooms are available on rent to stay here.

This temple situated at a hill top and can be seen from far off places like Anandpur Sahib. The temple is clean and good to visit during non festive season and can get really crowded during festivals and navratras. The Temple of Shri Naina Devi Ji is situated on a hilltop, base of which also has samadhi of bhagat Jeona Morh who died in 12th century, in the Bilaspur District, Himachal Pradesh, India. The temple is connected with National Highway No. 21. The temple at the top of the hill can be reached via road (that curves round the hill up to a certain point) and then by concrete steps (that finally reach the top). There is also a cable car facility that moves pilgrims from the base of the hill all the way to the top.

I have visited this place last month. It was hot and i saw the change in number of trees are decreased.but it was really beautiful place to visit. The roads were really advantures and we enjoyed.

And beware of monkeys specially if you have edible in your hand.police men also their for your help. There is a shoe house before temple so you can deposit your shoes there and get a token they take 10 Rs for same. You can buy besan parshad near the temple. Langar house and gufa is closed now.

Nearest airport is Chandigarh and nearest railway station is Anandpur Sahib. Aged people should take services of rope way as there are around 2000 steep stairs to reach sanctum sanctorum.

Jai mata di!! We reached to Anandpur sahib first by train. After that, we took a taxi, which are easily available there to Naina Devi. Taking a taxi has pros that you don’t have to walk. They charges ₹150/- per person for both sides. Buses are also available at the bus stand but they don’t go up to the hill. We visited here on Sunday, so a lot of crowd was obvious to see. We stand for almost 1 hr in queue. Enjoy the scenic beauty amid the way.

Naina Devi temple is situated at a distance of around 22 km from Shri Anandpur sahib Railway Station. It's one among 52 Shaktipeeth of Goddess Parvati where her eyes were fallen. It's almost hilly area with zig zag beautiful wide road. From the base of Naina Devi town, the temple is at a distance of around 4 km single moterable road. Four wheeler reach there easily. Then a small climbing up to the Temple. The temple is small but with great effect and average crowd on normal week days. One can buy Prasad etc and go for darshan. The temple is under govt administration, nobody asks for any offerings. Apart from religious view, the place is highly rich in natural beauty and pollution free range. Famous Bhakhra dam is just 18 km from naina Devi along Gobindsagar lake. People are good. Generally you can hire taxi from Anandpur sahib if you are not travelling in your own vehicle.

Soulful place in Himachal Pradesh. A great environment in temple. Peaceful sounds of birds and bells of the temple. There are many shops outside of the temple for shopping and eating food or snacks. But one bad thing is there are many beggars and they forced you for giving him rupees. Rest all shopkeepers and pandits are very friendly. Jai mata di.
