This man definitely gets paid for denying disability insurance for the state! I received my letter stating I was denied because doctor Cornyjo (I like spelling it that way) said I was well educated and gets job! He never said I have lupus, pustlar psoriasis or spondylitis..I cannot drive because my connective tissue in my eyes are damaged causing no peripheral vision.. he said I was just in pain.. he lies and pays no attention to what you show him or tell him! He also sells old Range Rovers that are cluttering his office parking lot!!

Outright lied on my SSDI medical. Barely looked at me or touched me and his “nurse” took my BP with high BP and said I was “perfect” at 120/80. It’s not possible bc I have uncontrolled hypertension and she didn’t inflate the cuff right. He didn’t even examine one side of my body he just kept saying everything was “not what he was looking at. Disgusting.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Juan Carlos Cornejo, DO is the person specifically I am talking about. The nurses at this place are lovely. I'd like to start by saying this Dr. took no time in making me feel like I didn't belong there. He barely spoke to me. When he "examined" my back it was as if he wasn't touching it at all, with the lightest touches and making no remarks at my pain. This man finishes his "exam" and because my psych eval was done by a separate person HE starts asking me Psych evaluation questions. Are you kidding me? He didn't even ask them correctly, and told me one of the answers I got wrong. This isn't a professional. Don't go. I don't care what your disability case worker says go through PCP and get a real back Dr. who doesn't pretend he's a Psychiatrist. I've filed a complaint with the state and will be talking to my case worker about him, AGAIN.

he deserves negatives stars...but that is not an option. This was the worst experience at a doctor's office I have ever had. The nurse was lovely and very professional. The doctor, if he even is one, is a weasel. the most unprofessional man I have ever met. Not withstanding having to wait to see him for almost 2.5 hours, he tells me that my EKG was abnormal to follow up with my PCP but refuses to tell me what is abnormal about it. Simply says that it is not an emergency. My cardiologist is trying to find out what is wrong with it, but I have no answers because I was given none. He said if gave me an explanation that would establish a doctor/patient relationship. I told him I did not want a doctor patient relationship with him; I only wanted information to tell my own doctor. He is a quack! Useless! Run!!! Get an attorney. He has no idea what he is doing. Every fiber of my being knows there is something wrong with this man and the reviews speak for themselves.

I really didn't think it is as bad as the other reviewers claim. I went into my appointment super nervous because I was expecting the worst but Dr. Cornejo seems like a "to the point" kind of man. No frills, no BS, just examines what he needs to and sends you on your way. There wasn't any longer of a wait you'd expect from any other doctor's office and the staff was pretty friendly and attentive. Overall, it was alright... just be friendly and open and you'll be given the same treatment.

I'm being generous giving "Doctor" Cornejo one star. One of the worst physicians I've ever seen. His office is filthy, is barely conversant in English, and unethical. I'll get to that in a moment. He barely listened to me (I don't think he understands English well), paid no attention to me when his pushes and prods caused me pain, and seemed to have his mind already made up regarding denying my disability claim (arthritis in five cervical vertebrae and five slipped, bulging or herniated lumbar discs). His nurse forgot to take my blood pressure and shortly after arriving home called and told me I could either drive back to Egg Harbor immediately or wait two weeks until he was there again. But the thing that irked me the most was Dr. Cornejo after his prejudiced exam gave me a survey to fill out in his office and said he'd pick it up in a couple of minutes. I thought that was strange. After about ten minutes he came back took the survey and read it up and down to see what comments I wrote about him. This is highly unethical and the state shouldn't employ someone like him.

This doctor was terrible. I told her about my pain and she was very rough with my neck shoulders and legs. I don’t ever was to be examined by her again !

Horrible, I was checked by him for disability. He said I was perfectly fine. I suffered a severe traumatic brain injury, brain bleed, stroke next to my equilibrium. Which badly affects my balance. I have super high blood pressure. I was there for a nuero exam all he did was give me a physical, that was horrible at that. I faced cover physicals in 6th grade gym class. I was given a questionnaire and kicked out B4 my pencil touched the paper. My mother who was not allowed in to accommodate me with my disability had to go back in and demand to be given a questionnaire so we can fill it out in the car

This Dr did not write down my new back problems correctly. Left out major new issues I was experiencing . VA is now trying to reduce my disability compensation
