Absolutely stand out meal and restaurant. We came from Australia, but if this was back at home, we would be eating there very frequently. Very very satisfied with the overall experience, down to the lovely waiting staff and people running the restaurant

The food is excellent. The people are very nice and accomodating. We arrived early because we came as a group and MOE the lady who welcome us arranged our table right away. We were assured of the table and that was the best of all. The food was excellent, it’s like a party in the mouth. and well cook and prepared. Wonderful experienced. We go went home happy. We will surely come back. Thank you JBJ Soul Kitchen 5⭐️

This place is so special They have a pay it forward program that benefits those that can not pay for hot meal. You can also just pop in and pay for people meals if you dont have time to sit and eat.

This was a nice place tucked away. The hospitality was top tier and the food was amazing. I had an omelet that was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. My "date" had the gyro and said he liked it. I would recommend visiting.

The mission here speaks for itself; helping those in need by creating a community business. All are welcome; pay with money or donate service. We had a pork shank osso bucco that belonged on the menu of any fine restaurant...and I'm totally serious. I've paid $50+ for entrées that didn't come close. Not the first time dining and it won't be the last.

Went with wife and another couple for dinner . Food was outstanding — prepared by volunteer, world class chefs . Servers were all volunteers and did a great job welcoming everyone . Pay according to your ability . We all gladly made a donation to this excellent cause! . “ You were blessed so you could be a blessing !” 🙏🇺🇸

The food is amazing, the staff is so kind and gentil, the place is pretty clean and the environment has an awesome energy. Besides all that, you can help people by leaving some meals pre paid. Thanks for all the service to the community.

I'm a fan of bon Jovi and have been since he started. I love how he gives back to our communities and never forgot where he came from. He has a big heart. The staff was terrific. I will support this organization in any way I can. Thank you for being a great person. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable experience.

The food here is excellent with a menu that varies. The staff/volunteers are very friendly. Best of all, paying for your meal helps feed others in need. Wish they were open more days and a little later than 7pm close. Every meal we've had here has been fabulous!

JBJ Soul Kitchen is an organization that serves members of the community in need of food and/or social services. As a way to finance these services, the Soul Kitchen operates a restaraunt open to the general public. (Search web to find hours and times.) For $20 you will be served a 3 course meal in a simple setting with beautifully appointed tables. The food is simple, but delicious and "clean." I heartily recommend visiting the JBJ Soul Kitchen.

My friends and I, a party of six, went today for our Christmas luncheon get together. It was very nice. The food was delicious, the help (volunteers), were efficient and lovely. There were about 6 choices fir the main menu. Soup or salad was included, and a couple of dessert choices. The suggested donation for the meal is $20, tip, also used as a donation, is up to you. The establishment is very clean, cozy, and attractive. On special nights the also roast chickens, and provide a meal for four, at certain designated times to be picked up. The suggested donation for that is $40.00. If you can find it in your heart to take advantage of this opportunity to help these people, that work hard, to support people less fortunate than others, please do so. It will be a good experience. Than you very much. We will definitely be doing this again.

I did not volunteer as of yet. However, I heard this the place to give back and help. Please help those and your communities...

  • 5/5 Dan P. 6 years ago on Google
What a fantastic concept... no one is turned away due to inability to pay. There are no prices for this fantastic 3 course meal served by volunteers, just make a donation (and buy a pay it forward meal so others can get a meal too). Those that cannot pay can volunteer to get a meal for them and their family. No reservations, first come, first seated and served (except for the volunteers, who get seated and served first). Please note that alcohol is not served here and you can't bring your own wine, etc. It is a wonderful place with a wonderful message of hope. We will definitely come again when we are in the area!

Loved it! The food was amazing and fresh, people were incredibly courteous, and it felt good to know that we were contributing to a great cause just by having lunch. The only thing that would have made it better is if JBJ walked in himself!
