Absolutely awful experience. Took a watch in to have the battery replaced, couple of months later the battery failed, so took it back to the shop for them to look at. A couple of weeks later I recieved a text saying my watch had corrosion on the inside (the watch had never been in water whatsoever) and it needed to go to the manufacturer for repair. Popped into the shop to collect the watch and whilst there I asked why this ‘corrosion’ had not been noticed whilst the new battery had been fitted and the snotty ‘lady’ told me that the boy who replaced the battery was inexperienced so wouldn’t have noticed. No apology and no refund for the failed ‘new’ battery either! Left out of pocket and with a broken watch, which worked perfectly before Raffles got their inept mitts on it! Whilst in the shop after the watch fiasco, out of curiosity I enquired how much they’d pay for a gold ring of mine... the lady did her checks and came back with an offer of less than a 10th of my rings purchase value! Now I know that jewellery value drops from the purchased price, and they have to buy as low as they can, and they make a mark up on bought jewellery, but offering a 10th of the price?? The lady asked me if the price she quoted was okay... needless to say I declined and walked off in the knowledge I won’t be going anywhere near that shop again.

Brought my father's watch in for a repair as after a fall the clasp had bent, and a replacement couldn't be sourced. The repair was fantastic and incredibly they didn't charge!

Absolutely amazing service. I had my engagement ring taken down half a size and had a new gold hoop added onto my necklace when I collected my jewelery they both looked brand new very shiny both had been cleaned up. Made up with both items would highly recommend!

I wouldn’t use them for a watch repair. They don’t have the precision required. My watch came back from a £100 repair and service without the second hand and still running fast. Just shows a lack of care. It went back twice and after about a month the original problem resurfaced. I gave up at that point. I should say that this was a while ago so things may have improved but I can’t recommend them.

A small Jewellery Shop that as been in the town for many years. The shop as a very excellent selection of Jewellery. Situated in the centre. Near to the local bus station. And local train station with connection to Skipton Leeds and Bradford stations. The staff are friendly and helpful. And knowledgeable. Prices are higher but quality is good. Worth a visit

Took my Zenith Primero Rainbow Flyback in there for a link to be removed and when I collected it the clasp had a scratch on it that was not there before. The female denied it was them to cover her back but I'm the owner and I know the truth. Don't risk taking anything in there that you value.

Absolutely excellent, I had placed an item into pawn due to things that were going on in my life I forgot about the item until I thought I had lost it due to missing the date I had been allowed to redeem it, this made me feel terrible due to the nature of the item but I thought that was that. Imagine how happy I was when I received a letter from them which said they would allow me to still either redeem the item or to pay the interest and keep the item with them for upto another 7 months. I cannot recommend them enough, the interest rates are very reasonable but more than that the service they provide is absolutely excellent because they really care about their customers. I would like to give them a huge thank you for giving me the extra time to redeem my item, something I thought I had lost due to missing the date on my paperwork. Thank you
