Two
ponds
one
aimed
more
at
the
Bivvy
Boys
and
the
other
a
smaller
more
heavily
stocked
pond
for
the
less
experienced
angler
is
also
very
good.
As
a
commercial
day
ticket
water
it’s
‘not
up
to
scratch
as
a
carp
runs
water
that
the
typical
day
ticket
angler
goes
for
where
stock
is
excessive.
but
I
don’t
think
that’s
the
objective
of
the
owner
who
lives
on
site.
He
says
this
place
is
a
nature
reserve
it’s
not
quite
that
either.
What
it
is,
is
a
great
place
to
come
in
beautiful
surroundings
with
well
maintained
pegs.
In
2023
it’s
£7
for
one
rod
which
is
at
the
mid
point
of
the
local
scale.
In
truth
it
could
be
stocked
better
on
the
big
pool
but
for
a
relaxing
day
out
and
a
great
chance
of
catching
a
few
fish
.
It’s
well
worth
the
ticket
.
I
do
think
the
move
toward
catering
for
the
carp
anglers
with
bivvy
pegs
is
ill
advised
(but
I
would
as
a
pleasure
angler)
I
understand
the
economics
of
it
but
to
get
the
bivvy
boys
in
it
needs
to
have
more
20-30
lb
fish
in
there
and
needs
heavier
stocking
for
todays
impatient
carp
anglers
weaned
on
runs
waters
looking
to
get
a
picture
for
their
mates
and
families.
