Extremely disappointed with this practice, which in the past I have always rated so highly and given 5*. I understand that during current circumstances everyone is stretched, but we used an online prescription request for my husband who has back problems. He couldn’t get out of bed, and needed some strong painkillers to get him mobile again. His consultant at AGH advised us the last time he was in hospital, if his back gave him serious issues again, to contact our G.P. and ask for strong painkillers to get his mobility back, so we did. Two days later and no prescription, so we phoned the surgery, only to be told by a receptionist that the Dr. who looked at the prescription request had said “he needs assessing”! But that G.P. didn’t bother to phone us and tell us that! Poor communication skills. It was obvious we’d be at home for a phone call. How am I supposed to get him to you anyway? I was trying to go down a route to cause minimal time needed from any of the staff at the G.P. surgery. Extremely poor service up to the usual standard of this practice. Very disappointing. Somehow, I will nurse him myself!

I've been with this doctors surgery for years and never had any major issues but in the last few months it is very difficult to reach the reception. I have finally figured out that it's best to request a call back in a phone queue which can take a few hours (hoping you don't miss the call back!) The website also seems to have changed and is difficult to navigate. I feel like the difficulties in trying to reach the surgery will defer people from visiting their GP. It is such a shame as the doctors in the practice have been really good!

Disgusting service from surgery, I've been trying to to speak to doctor at holycroft surgery and I can't even get to speak to a receptionist, you can never get to speak to doctor and booking an appointment is impossible. For over two weeks the surgery was closed and you could not contact the surgery. They palmed you off with excuses that the surgery was closed due to covid, and this was couple of weeks ago, not during covid lockdown, the surgery should have made allowance for it. Since modality as taken over its gotten worse, how bad does it get before a patient of holycroft surgery dies due to disgusting service from modality. They should have their contract terminated by nhs and Holycroft surgery taken back in house with NHS.

If I could Leave zero stars I would !! Appalling service , phone lines never answered , forced to complete a form on a website that is archaic nor user friendly . I’m fairly computer literate so I genuinely feel for the older generation who require the services of a GP more so than myself . Online form completed to be met with a message stating my symptoms required medical attention to then receive a text completely irrelevant to information completed within the form and case then closed . Scary that a doctor can appear to be illiterate !! If I could withdraw all my hard earned money from this shambles of a GP practise / business I would in a heart beat . Should be ashamed of yourselves My opinion is modality are cost cutting In areas where costs shouldn’t be cut. Whose pockets am I filling ??

Disgraceful service for the elderly. My 73 year mother who has multiple health conditions has tried to book over the phone urgently to see a Dr (something she was told in A and E to do when taken in with chest pains). Receptionist told her to book online (when she got through after 1 hour wait), she tried and it took her hours to do, the outcome of online was she was told to phone the surgery due to symptoms, she did waited another 30 mins requested a call back and didn't get one, no wonder our Hospitals are inundated when you cannot get an appointment to see a GP. This is disgusting service for our anyone let alone those who are elderly or struggle online people are feeling isolated enough without practically needing to beg for help . Modality AW you need to sort your systems and patient services out.

Wow i avoid doctors surgery due to poor staff and appalling service and how you get treated in this surgery. Any after a long time due to poor health i thought id contact them to make an appointment. Waited for over and hour line got cut off. Tried again following day no answer again. Did a ring back service still no call. Since covid its got really bad this surgery. Modality have the contract for vaccines after doing a little research and asking someone who use to work their. They told me their focus is more on vaccinations as they get a fee per jab. Makes sense now why they are so bad. Nothing is about health anymore its all about money. I also found that complaining about this surgery males no difference either. Unfortunately either you have money for private treatment or just getting use to being unwell and using home remedies.

Disgraceful behaviour exhibited by practice staff, who cut my wife off the phone (she herself is a GP!) when all she needed was a prescription. I’m find appalling the blatant disregard for patients and callous disrespect on display by the “triage” staff at reception. They should honestly be ashamed of themselves.

My wife’s elderly parent needed some follow up care so she went in to discuss this and pass over a letter with discharge information, she needed to book an appointment for some injections and the woman behind reception said, “ good luck with that one” what a disgusting service this is, the treatment of people is absolutely appalling, no wonder people are going to A & E to get help. This surgery has gone right down the pan with Modality.

I don't even think they deserve a star , firstly since childhood my surgery was at holycroft then I had to change it due to moving, the other surgery were more helpful than holycroft however it didn't seem like they knew what they were saying so I moved it back to holycroft. at first they helped me out but now they are really disappointing me iv rang at 8 for 3 days, picking the phone at 11 waiting in the que with over 30 ppl waiting and sacrificed my entire sleep and they say they are booked and can't do anything else and the staff there are so unbothered. They communicate in such a Unbothered tone and give attitude cut the phone of then ur trying to explain to them how long they been waiting and u need to go abroad for education. Seems like they take take ppls health like a joke. They literally messing around, they are so rude unhelpful and just very RUDE. It's disguitung behaviour at the end of the day if anything happens to that patient it will be there fault.!

The ineptitude of this place is shocking. They accidentally sent me the forms in the post that the doctor was meant fill out....not the patient. Scary as this is an institution that looks after people's health. Needs a serious overhaul and to scrap the utter shambles that is modality!

Absolutely appalling public service, I have been let down and ignored on multiple occasions. I can't get an appointment, I can't get my prescriptions easily, they don't answer my messages when I request for medications to be added to repeat. I cannot access the health service unless I am on the verge of having a heart attack!! I only need basic health care and I am having to pay privately to get the service I need. I can't afford to pay privately!! Disgusting state our services are in. Maybe we should blame funding and the government!! I'm not sure! However I don't think it's good enough to not be able to easily request a simple prescription!!

The staff seem okay but the way it's run is abysmal, I rang yesterday 8am for telephone appointment , I was No 1 in the queue, I got a call back but it went dead, no recall, I rang again and the line went dead again no recall, I rang again 8am today No 1 in the queue again still waiting at 15:20 for a call back, what is more annoying is I was told by the doctor to call back if thing didn't get better, they did but ringing seems to be pointless, going down is also pointless as you cannot get an appointment at reception, do I bother ringing again in the morning, I have no other option, why is there no email address, this is really rubbish service.

Where to start!!!! You can get through to make an appointment to save your life. If your lucky enough to get through to a doctor, they probably get your diagnosis wrong and you'll have to suffer. A 3rd world doctor would be better serving you.

I filled in the online form for an appointment which took me about 3/4 hr. I got a reply to supply photographs but could only submit one . Then asked for more photographs but can only supply one at a time. I then got a text telling me I needed an appointment ( for which I wouldn’t be filling the form in otherwise!!!!!) Eventually got to see a doctor after 4 weeks wait only to be told they can’t do anything on nhs but could go private to remove facial warts. No offer of any creams or remedies to improve the appearance of them. When I arrived for my appointment the surgery was practically empty with one person waiting to see the same doctor 12 mins prior to me. The doctor finally arrived 10 mins after his 1st appointment time making him late already. I also asked at reception for access to my medical records that I submitted a form for 18 months previously to be told that there was no record of my application. She did say that I could access them through the nhs app but only recent issues are accessible. This practice has really gone down in my estimation since modality took over. It’s no wonder people are going to A and E because it’s really difficult to get an appointment and then can’t get the proper treatment from your GP. It’s a total disgrace.

Not the best service but staff try there best with what resources at hand. Hard to get a choice of doctor but any will do if I can get that elusive appointment lol!

Well, that's a turn up for the books, website let me book and appointment eventually and I was called within the hour to go see the doctor. I was amazed how quick it was.
