If I could give 6 stars, I would. We dined here for the first time tonight. The food was out of this world. The staff were fantastic, the ambience amazing. We will be back again very soon and would highly recommend it. A taste of paradise on our doorstep.

I’ve eaten here quite a few times now the food is absolutely out of this world, in my opinion right up there with Michelin star restaurants, the owner is so welcoming and goes out of her way to make your dining/drinks experience the best it can possibly be. Sancerre is just incredible. You walk in and are instantly impressed, the service , the food, the drinks all compliment your first impression. It is when you are sitting back sipping your favourite drink on the stunning ambience of Sancerre that you really go wow this place is something special. My family and I just had Father’s Day meal at Sarenta’s. What an absolute gem we have in Guiseley! I have had lobster and my husband had the lamb, staff accommodated food for the kids. As a Spaniard myself I always look for seafood dishes and hands down that was the best lobster with the best seafood sauce I have had in England for the 10 years I have been here! Pleasure to meet the chef( who has worked with Gordon Ramsey!!! And Michelle Roux 😳) and all staff were so lovely and welcoming! They even speak Spanish in Sancerre! Will definitely come back for La Carte dishes! 🤍 Thank you for the experience!

We tried Sancerre for the first time last Friday and were not disappointed. The bar was pleasantly busy when we arrived and we were seated quickly for dinner and offered a choose between two tables which is always nice. Service was timely and very friendly. The food was excellent and highly recommend the prawn cocktail which I think was a special and also the salmon which was stunning. Excellent wine list with a good variety of wines to suit all budgets. We have been hoping for somewhere like this to open locally and we wish them every success. We are only along the road in Menston and will definitely return. Thanks to all the team and compliments to the chef.

Guiseley had been waiting a long time for somewhere of this quality. The kitchen really know what they are doing. Great menu, very well balanced meals and each dish a well made pleasure. The service provided by the owner was brilliant. The place will be simply perfect when all staff can attain her high standards, which I'm sure will come.

Went with friends for lunch. Lovely place but no one else in! Service was good and we were soon seated. Starters were good and wine choice excellent but main courses very disappointing! Lemon and herb chicken was a deep fried chicken leg which was bland and fatty and cod goujons more like a starter! Very expensive tasteless food we won’t go back especially when the owner was not interested in our concerns

Absolutely Fabulous (again)! The chateau briand is to DIE FOR! However the lamb also received rave reviews! V reasonably priced drinks, food gorgeous and Claudia is building a fabulous business! Fabulous decor and atmosphere. We were lucky enough to have the owner serving us, excellent service to both my mother and I. A couple of issues which were immediately smoothed over and elegantly addressed. The pricing is at the top end but Sancerre is very good and uses quality ingredients. Some tweaks here and there and this place will have a waiting list to get a table! A quality liquor selection and a tasty range of options on the menu. Looking forward to seeing this place grow and lucky to have a spot like this in Guiseley!

The food here is excellent, the service is pretty good, the decor and atmosphere are great. We had scallops and mackerel for starters, followed by duck for the main course, which came to £140 with drinks. But a few things need further consideration: 1) The food is served too quickly. We came for a night out but ended up spending just 40mins there. We had a table at 8pm but it just felt like the kitchen wanted to go home early. 2) Desserts are really expensive £9.50 to £15! We were trying to get our head around the prices when the table next to us sent theirs back because they were unhappy with it. We didn't order. 3) Charging £3.50 for a sauce to go with a £36 steak feels really mean. 4) When the place is trying to attract high-end diners and create a classy New York/Italian feel, it's somewhat let down by customers with scruffy trainers, jeans, track suit bottoms and body warmers. I think all of these points could be solved within five minutes of decisive leadership.

As soon as I walked in I felt like I was in a high end London restaurant and the service, food and atmosphere did not disappoint! I played it safe and went for a burger as my philosophy is, if you can get this rite you’ve nailed it and WOW! It was most possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Love this place and will definitely be going back.

Oh, what a lovely foody experience ... The staff were attentive , but ,not intrusive. The food was beautifully presented, tasty & plentiful. We will definitely be returning customers.

Another lovely evening in Sancerre. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Had drinks and bar food this visit. I have to say the quality of the food was outstanding such good value for money. Can highly recommend the steak ciabatta, delicious. Thank you we will be back.
