Love that the menu is vegetarian so I can choose anything on the menu. It’s generally busy so book if you can - as a result the service can be a little rushed. I had hash browns eggs benny which was really delicious - I added halloumi which was a generous portion. My boyfriend had the spiced potato burger which could do with more of a hit. The only issue was the drinks - I had hot chocolate previously which was lovely but this time it tasted like instant which was disappointing. Wasn’t sure whether there was a problem was the barista machine but it did let it down. Overall well worth a visit for the glorious food alone! Try and find a quieter day and book if you can!

What a delightful find! After a walk with my dog on Chevin, I stumbled upon Mistal Kitchen and had a gorgeous coffee and croissant. Fabulous cakes, juices and an inspriational menu. Friendly staff and a beautiful outdoor space. I can't wait to return for Brunch soon and then Lunch another day... too delicious to wait for long!

I just stumbled across Mistal Kitchen online & booked it for my friend’s birthday brunch. It was probably one of the best brunches I’ve ever had - delicious, generous portion (I had the Smokey Beans on Toast) & in a cosy and charming setting. It’s dog friendly and just across from Otley Chevin car park so we walked off our brunch afterwards. They sell great takeaway cakes & pastries at the till as well as some lovely looking artisanal pantry goods to take home. I highly recommend this place - I’ll be back very soon & repeatedly I think!

Vegetarian cafe, ideal for after-parkrun coffee. Always friendly service, good menu, with delicious meals and cakes.

A great brunch/lunch. Worth booking a table via their website if you're heading there around lunchtime at the weekends. Great to see such a great selection on the menu and all veggie and vegan!

Very tasty, beautifully presented, sizeable portions, good service, and great location to be able to walk off when you overeat. We had the hash brown bennie, pumpkin French toast - both fab - and the real star was the Turkish eggs. Love all the quirky decor, and the beer garden must be lovely on a warm day

Dropped in this morning after a walk in Otley Chevin Forest. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had hot chocolates and a spot of breakfast which was absolutelt delicious and well presented.

Really nice vegan cake (banana biscoff). Great tasting oat milk flat white. Wish this cafe was local to me!

Have visited Mistal kitchen a number of times recently and am always impressed with the quality of the food, coffee and cakes . You can tell that a lot of effort is being made in the kitchen . However, have been less impressed by the customer service on the last few occasions. It’s not unusual to wait up to 45/50 minutes for food when it’s busy and when I suggested it might be an idea to inform customers of this at the point of ordering it did not seem to be received as a positive suggestion but as a complaint . On the next occasion we visited when it was actually pretty quiet the member of staff who served us was quite ‘brusque’ . Nevertheless a great place to eat if you aren’t too bothered by indifferent customer service .

Had the most delicious lunch today and will definitely be back. Very dog friendly. Staff very welcoming and attentive.

Really lovely cafe serving a good selection of carefully thought out dishes. Very nice outdoor area. Service was very good. I'll certainly visit again.

My wife and I visited the café with our 18-month-old and our brother & sister-in-law and their 9-month-old. The staff were lovely and very accommodating to our hectic table! The food was gorgeous and the portion sizes were generous. And, most importantly, the coffee was fantastic! We'll 100% go for a second helping if we are in the area again. Keep up the great work, guys.

Wonderful place to go after a long walk around Chevin Forest, lovely atmosphere, amazing staff, great with our dog and brilliant food couldn’t think of a better place to go after a nice autumn walk. Amazing place to go 😁
