Great people & service; the church itself is steeped in historical culture it being the one that Patrick Bronte was the vicar at when his kids were christened (there's a great display of artifacts from the period too). The current Vicar is one that we travel to listen to; we live 40 minutes away...

We came to the church on Wed 9th November 2022 to see the exhibition and have some lunch while we we were there. The reviews were very positive The web site stated that said the church opened at 10am, on arrival the board outside said open at 11am, however it was 12.45 so OK. NOT OK it was all shut, doors had metal grids across, the café to the rear was also closed. If we had known that both were closed we would have not wasted our time in visiting the church or village. PLEASE ( all venues) update web sites to avoid future visitors wasting their time.

There are some interesting people resting here. There are 15th and 16th century dated stones saved here in the remains of the early churches. In this church is where the Bronte children were all Christened here the Font used is now in the Victorian church across the road.

There's a lovely cafe run by volunteers round the back of the church. We had been walking around the Queensbury Triangle and happened upon this oasis of good food and attentive service. Brilliant bacon sarnies and lashings of tea. Only £3 each for tea and sarnie. Well worth the visit.

Visited for my son's school's harvest festival. Nice church, well maintained and probably the warmest church I've ever been in (with the exception of ones in sunnier places, of course).
