Poorly poured pints, drink tasted off. When asking for them to check it staff was snarky, rude and argumentative. To their credit they poured a new one - in a glass that was clearly smudged and dirty-looking. Can't recommend

Visited for the first time yesterday and left wondering why I've never been before. It's a lovely pub and the staff are great. There's have a good selection of beers, including a Neck Oil IPA. Everywhere is clean and tidy, including the toilets. They have a pub dog, a Great Dane, and she's very friendly. They also have an outdoor seating area with TVs and halogen heaters. It's in a great location for a pre or post arena drink too. I recommend a visit.

The landlord has a terrible attitude. Seems it fit to skip songs on the public jukebox after us paying for it, and covers the pool table in the middle of a game. Refuses refunds as its his own table. I'd avoid it if possible. Looks like the uneducate. Update: new owners much better. The dog is great.

The noose and gibbet was absolutely packed it is straight opposite Sheffield arena where we saw Peter Kay. The staff behind the bar served everyone really quickly even though there were almost twenty people waiting at once we found the last two seats a good bar at the time Anne walker

Lovely place with lovely people! Couldn't have stayed in a better place. Would definitely recommend and most certainly come back!

Friendly pub, better if they had a couple of local beers

Myself and my wife stayed here for an event literally over the road. Could not not have picked a better location to have stayed at. Whilst everyone was racing about finding taxis home or squeezing on shuttle a shuttle bus half drunk or on something else we literally walked back within two minutes and was at our room for the night. Staff here couldn't of helped anymore if they tried so thank you. It was pleasant to be greeted as well by their huge but very friendly great dane, she's a lovely dog. We are planning on returning to next year's event and we will be sure to be returning here as we couldn't of picked anywhere else more suitable. Thank you

I had my wedding reception here and I cant thank them enough for what they did for me. Amazing landlord and landlady amazing staff. Fantastic range of drinks. Highly recommend. I will be returning with my husband for date nights

A pretty standard looking pub that contains good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Very busy when an event is on at the arena whenever that is hockey or something completely different. Very reasonable priced. You could get multiple pints for the price of one drink that you pay at the arena because it's that reasonable!

Great friendly pub and the owner phill and his wife what can great people all ways welcomes you in the pub and phill himself great guy (the only problem I had was on 22nd April I came and barmaid on bar maid said to I'll serve u this once but no more if u on phone I was only talking to a friend at the time on phone OTHER THEN ABSOLUTELY GREAT PUB

Very noisy the music played loud till 11, the room was not clean. I opened the shower door and there was a horrible smell from the shower

Quirky pub just over the road from Sheffield arena, arrived early for a show and had a couple of sneaky pints, perfect location and staff friendly.

It was dead with absolutely no atmosphere. Admittedly, it was Sunday night but still. Erm, bar prices were good. In all honesty, I'm unlikely to go again anytime soon because of where it is but it certainly wouldn't be a first choice for me. Oh, they had a dog that was free roaming and she was absolutely beautiful.

Comfy outside area in lovely weather. Good choice of drinks, quite busy, friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic pub has a great almost indoor smoking area staff are great and the beer is cheap inuf even the pints that are normally on the more expensive side cheap 3.80for a pint of madri 4.80 to5 pound everywhere else

Really nice pint, my first one in a pub since 2019, nice sunny day so sat outside, they have covered area to sit if want. It's really nice nice inside as well. So it's well worth a visit 👍👌
