What an incredible, hidden gem, nestled in the Yorkshire Dales. All the rooms are individually styled to perfection with their own kitchenette and shower room. A great place to stay with a world of hiking and mountain biking on your doorstep - an outdoor lovers paradise. This place has the added bonus of the village pub within stumbling distance too and serves the best pub food I've tasted!

I had booked to stay here overnight - we received an email confirmation from the owner & we payed in full. We drove over two hours to arrive to find out that the room we had booked & payed for was being used by someone else. We tried to contact the owner for over 30 mins before our calls were answered. We were advised that the room was already booked by someone else and they were unable (unwilling) to help us. We were stranded hours away from home with no access to a private toilet or water (due to covid-19 we couldn't use public toilets). The owner made no effort to help and we were stuck waiting from 3:00pm (check in time) to 6:30pm for a solution that never came when we had to make the decision to make the long journey back home. A huge disappointment, especially considering its our first break away since lockdown. Unorganised & unprofessional.

Lovely little studio, perfect setting and location. We arrived about an hour early and had planned on going for food but had trouble parking. We saw the host cleaning outside the studio so we asked if we could park there and she was very friendly and helpful. There was tea, coffee, milk and a cake left for us. All bedding and towels ( no tea towels though) shower gel, soap and hair dryer are all provided. The bed is like a big marshmallow, it engulfs you. Location is perfect, we went out walking every day.

Stayed with my young child for three nights in 'Studio 1'. Excellent location overlooking the river and village green and a short walk over the footbridge to the great local pub (proper real ales). Clean; comfortable; warm; modern bathroom and kitchenette; secure and with plentiful off-street parking. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and communication re check-in etc was excellent. We had a lovely time there using it as a base to explore the local area. This will now be our 'go-to' place when staying in the area and I look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing place. Stylish bed very comfortable. Pub and other amenities all in close proximity. Would definitely recommend and hopefully sometime we will find availability to come back.

Very Nice setting. The rooms are spacious with all you need (small kitchenette). Comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. Ideal for a countryside stay or people looking for a cycling or hiking week-end.
