Just had my daughter's wedding at this superb venue. Fantastic! And all the recommended suppliers were superb! The caterers rose to the challenge of a gluten free, lactose free, nut free vegetarian meal (with other dietary requirements too) with a delicious menu. Thank you all!

Brilliant purpose built wedding venue with style and substance. Fabulous food, efficient and friendly staff and lovely setting. The oak framed building is a masterpiece of modern architecture and the facilities are excellent. One of the best venues I've been to (and as an ex photographer, I seen a lot)

My son and daughter in law had their wedding here. The service was simply brilliant. Venue is superb and so beautiful for weddings. Special shout out to wedding planner Chloe who was just brilliant from the beginning of their journey to the end. The food was superb, thanks to Jenkinsons for quick service, tasty food and being able to cater for differing dietary needs. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. All in all the venue lived up to what we expected after our pre visit. Our sons nan needs a walker so the use of lifts to move up and down was brilliant. Breakfast was good, hot and a good selection. Again staff very attentive. Highly recommend. 😊😊

Myself and my partner came here for a wedding so this is just as a guest experience, we also stopped a night. At first glance the venue was breathtaking, the water fountain, the look of the barns in general. The accessibility between the ceremony room and the entertainment room was amazing also. However that’s were it ends. Drinks are over priced, the food took a total of two and a half hours to serve. Which meant by the time food was over a lot of guests were heading to their rooms. Our room was described by my other half as “a pub room” and I admit I do agree. The toilet paper holder was tearing off. The rooms were incredibly noisy, I could hear people snoring in one room and “debating” in the next room. The toilets were downstairs away from the ceremony and entertainment. No big deal to some but having to walk that distance whilst having a drink, isn’t a good experience. The underneath part looked dull, dark and smelt damp. In the morning we headed out. We saw the main door that we came into shut. Which had one of two thoughts: walking up the outdoor wooden steps in the rain caused my partner to slip as she’s bad on her feet. But also my second thought was this: “it’s a wedding venue factory.” After speaking to the bride and groom they did agree but they tried to enjoy their moment. We toured this venue prior to a wedding and debated coming here. But as a guest, I think it’s suffice to say we would want a venue that isn’t thought of by many guests as a wedding factory.

Overall, it was a lovely wedding venue. The bedrooms are advertised as disabled friendly. However, there is a step up to the shower and no grab rail. Breakfast was OK, but it was a poor choice for a vegan. Very cold and echoey, so for guests with a hearing device, there is no chance of conversation due to feedback.

As a local wedding photographer, I'm lucky to have such a stunning purpose built wedding venue on my doorstep. I've been to The Mill Barns as both a guest and a photographer and I never get bored of being here. It's a lovely little hidden gem. A large venue with various rooms, stunning gardens and lovely rooms for guests. The staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them, so I always feel well looked after. By night, thr venue is lit up beautifully and there's lots of lovely fairy lights scattered around, which adds that little extra magic to the exterior of the venue. Can't wait to photograph here again or attend another wedding as a guest.

I went for a family wedding, the place looked amazing and really spacious, the surroundings were beautiful and picturesque. The staff were super friendly and the food hit just the right spot. The only downside I'd say..... the toilets are downstairs.
