Having
been
to
this
tapas
restaurant
before
several
years
ago,
we
knew
to
expect
good
quality
food
and
great
service,
however
we
weren't
prepared
for
quite
how
incredible
this
place
had
become.
Deciding
to
push
the
boat
out,
several
of
our
group
wanted
to
try
one
of
their
sherry
flights
(pictured),
but
had
very
little
knowledge
of
sherry.
One
of
the
staff
members
spent
a
considerable
amount
of
time
helping
us
select
the
most
well
suited
flight
for
each
person,
which
kicked
the
meal
off
to
a
great
start.
Being
recommended
about
3-4
dishes
per
person
and
being
a
group
of
4,
we
went
with
a
conservative
10
dishes
from
across
the
menu
and
they
were
ALL
to-die
for.
I
won't
mention
them
all
but
the
chorizo
and
potatoes
were
great
and
paired
with
the
most
incredible
red
wine
sauce,
the
beef
empanandas
had
the
most
incredible
blend
of
spices
with
a
perfectly
crunchy
exterior
only
rivaled
by
lightly
battered
goats
cheese;
the
batter
was
amazingly
light
whilst
the
cheese
was
creamy,
smooth
and
the
perfect
level
of
salty.
It's
safe
to
say
we
had
to
order
a
second
round
of
dishes!
Despite
being
extremely
full
and
content,
we
managed
to
share
a
Santiago
tart
and
Basque
burnt
cheesecake.
Both
were
great
desserts,
with
a
chunky
but
enjoyable
take
on
the
almonds
in
the
tart,
but
slightly
overshadowed
by
the
main
course.
Throughout
our
meal
the
staff
were
extremely
hospitable,
and
always
willing
to
spend
an
extra
minute
with
you
to
help
with
selection
from
the
menu.
At
points
we
did
have
to
wait
15-20
minutes
for
our
plates
to
be
cleared,
a
slight
frustration,
however
it
was
a
busy
Saturday
evening
and
we
were
too
blown
away
by
the
food
to
be
too
bothered
by
this.
All
in
all,
an
amazing
group
of
Tapas
restaurants,
with
extremely
reasonable
prices
for
the
food
you
get
and
some
of
the
most
helpful
staff
I've
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting!
Would
highly
recommend
if
you're
in
York,
Hull
or
Leeds;
it's
worth
a
visit.
