This place needs to take a look at the swimming teachers they employ, or should I just say one teacher I take my grandchildren every week , I originally pulled my grandson from her classes due to the amount of sickness she has 😡. But now he has to attend her lessons as she is the only teacher who does the Gold.. I am fed up of receiving phone calls on a Saturday morning 30 minutes before the lessons that no she has called in sick again. Bradford Council this needs to be addressed ASAP as I’m sure I’m not the only customer that feels this way as this has gone on for about 6 years with this staff member

As a whole I think the leisure cente is great, however there seems to be a big issue with groups of Asian men in particular that make women uncomfortable in the sauna/steam room. The staff seem to be aware of it as I've heard the staff being approached but they don't seem to care/do anything. I've seen it first hand that older Asian men telling a women how it is "mens only, no women" despite this not being a thing. I can understand womens only session's for this specific reason, but i think the staff need to support the women more. It should be a space everyone feels comfortable, black, white, Asian, men and WOMEN.

Not been since 2015.... Where do I start!? Female changing rooms stank of strong urine. The showers were cold (then went tepid after standing there for 5 mins....) There was a lad in the changing room that was easily 12+ years old (even though the lifeguard stated that the upper limit was 8 years old and was told that he must have been with his mum. Considering that I usually go to Shipley, I was really disappointed with the experience. If the council can afford to fit a whole new shower system in the Shipley centre, then there is no reason why they can do the same in the Keighley centre, it is in dire need of a refurb.... having previously worked in a few leisure centres myself, I feel so sorry for the staff having to work in that dump. Can easily be rectified and would be a great place for people to get back into fitness and enjoy the experience.

good fun for the kids to be fair, but... Generally just felt grubby. I'm not expecting David Lloyd quality or cleanliness, I'm happy with using public facilities and we do it all the time across West Yorks/East Lancs so it's not snobbery! But the showers were a bit grim, just loads of people's rubbish in there and nothing felt clean in the changing rooms or poolside. Most significantly, my wife's necklace chain has become discoloured and dulled since swimming in the pool yesterday. She's worn in it countless other pools for nearly a year and it's not once changed colour or been affected. Unisex changing room would help a lot too for families - although now we know the set up we'll pack separate bags so that's not a huge deal.

I've recently joined the Keighly Leisure Centre and I'm very pleased I did. The staff on Reception are always welcoming and extremely helpful and the Class Instructors are brilliant. I'm particularly impressed with the HIIT, Body Pump and Gym Rig instructors who are doing a great job. Having recently left a very expensive Virgin Gym I think that the Leisure Center's monthly subscription is fantastic value for money and the facilities, for what I need, are very acceptable.

First time visiting here with a new swimmer and a 5 year old that hasn’t learnt yet I was a little concerned if it was too busy however for a school holiday day it was a pleasant experience, people did seem to get in the way here and there and I’m sure we did too but it was reasonable and everyone including groups of kids were pleasant and nice. It was Aqua fun day so there was a selection of floats which was an added bonus. The guys watching the pool were always focused on the pool and the swimmers which was an added comfort. The kids really enjoyed their hour in the pool we will come back another day to Keighley Swimming Pool maybe a weekend day or time when the slide is open. The lady with the long dark curly hair on our way out at the reception was smiling and saying bye to everyone on our way out which was lovely to see such courtesy

maybe to improve a few things lifeguards are useless there. stairs and slide fail. this pool is not prepared for a large number of people, the changing room too little space and not too safe for people. this is my review from my last visit

The best feature -- the one that makes it worth travelling for -- is the water slide. But it isn't always open all the time. Definitely worth ringing ahead to check.

Kids had a great time swimming, loved the slide and spent the entire time on it basically. The changing rooms are atsd dated and in need of some tlc, especially the comically teeny tiny changing cubicles.

Nice, clean leisure centre. Son went here for a kid's party and had a great time in the pool, on the inflatables and on the slide. Staff all seemed really friendly and helpful.

Zaheer at the Leisure Centre in Keighley provided me with exceptional service. The lad went out of his way to help me when I had an issue at the Centre & made sure that the issue was revolved. He went above and beyond what was required of him & I really appreciate it.

I take my 5 year old swimming during the weekend. Perfect for fun and shallow enough so she can practice swimming.

From the closed cafe, paint peeling from the roof and tape holding flooring down this place is in need of some care. Inside the pool area, broken banisters haven't been replaced, slides, saunas and steam room seem to be open ad-hoc. Changing rooms need deep cleaning and the notices, noticeboards and pop up advertising banners need organising. Starting to look and feel its age.

I wish i could give 0 stars!! My daughter went here for a friend's birthday party. In the girls changing room a young boy came in while the girls were getting changed they told him to get out. a while later they were putting are things into the lockers and some of the staff came and said that we didn't need to lock them. She was worried about her stuff so she tried to close the locker but it wouldn't close or lock. She thought it would be alright because non of her other friends locked there lockers.they went into the swimming pool and when they came back around 1hour later and opened the lockers half of our stuff was missing. She luckily found my bag a while later in a completely different locker. 3 of her friend's still couldn't find any of there clothes. a while later they found the clothes in different lockers obviously moved and looked through. She looked in her bag and couldn't find her phone or airpods. She was then very annoyed and worried one of her friend's lost a pair of very expensive trainers and at the end of the day no phone no airpods and no trainers she told the staff members who weren't much help and we looked everywhere. We then had to leave we checked in the car in the lockers every locker we were both very angry and had to report this too the police we are very angry and most definitely won't be going again I would not recommend.

Small pool changing rooms smelt of pee and was very busy not enough room to swim without bumping in to other people The life guards were efficient when a problem happened with a unruly child though which was good

Membership is £25pm which is OK. You have classes, gym and swimming pool in this price. Gym room is small and most of the equipment is aged. Swimming pool has this weird shape but there are times when you can actually swim in lines. Whole building could use a proper renovation. Showers are not great. They work but pressure is weak. Cleanliness? I would give it 3 out of 5.

Had my daughters birthday party here yesterday, and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we were given a HUGE party room with facilities to play music etc, and they were so helpful when we mentioned we had forgotten a couple of things we needed for the party. The kids all absolutely loved going down the slide and overall had a brilliant time. Some areas of the pool are a little ‘tired’ and shabby, but overall a brilliant experience and amazing value.

What a fab time we had! Having planned to go to the Lido to arrive and it was PACKED, we decided to try Keighley pool. We haven't been for around 20 years but it hadn't changed much, however, oh my goodness! What a forgotten gem!. The centre was having a bit of a face-lift but it did not impede on our enjoyment. There were not many people there and it was definitely set out for the younger generations, it was fab!! They had floats and toys out, it was clean, not too noisy (perfect for an adult and child with Autism) and I was incredibly impressed yo see they had a hoist for disability access into the pool. Bonus point - What wonderful, knowledgeable staff, friendly and polite. We will definitely be going back and will not wait another 20 years to do so!!

The segregation and SD rules are excellent. It all feels very safe. Being able to book zones for personal use in the gym is brilliant, it takes the stress out of wondering if it will be too full and feeling obliged to spend less time in equipment as people are not waiting to use the equipment.

Mint pool and has maintained that late 80s/early 90s stylings, love it. And the staff were class acts.

Pool size is OK and staff are very helpful. But everything needs to be massively upgraded. Showers don't work and the changing rooms and tiling need to be done again.

Go for swimming but do wish the water was warmer and the 'women only' was actually woman only n not with men as a life guard. Awkward

Excellent swimming pool facility and water slide. Especially good for families with children. Perhaps not as good for doing lengths as it's not very long or deep.
