My OH specifically wanted a Korean BBQ for our date night so we made almost 6 miles to get there. Luckily, we already booked a table as the place was full when we reached. There is some Pay & Display parking spaces just down the road and it's free after 6pm. We ordered 3 meat: Ox tongue (£8.50), Spicy marinated sliced pork (£9.90) and seasoned pork steak & rib (£9.90). Each meat came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered lettuce & spring onion salad (£4.50) that was recommended to go with the grilled meat; pan-fried tofu (£7.50) and a boiled rice to share. The portion of the meat and salad was reasonable for the price but I personally thought the pan-fried tofu was a bit over-priced. Nothing to fault on the flavour-wise as everything was tasty. Very friendly and attentive service from start to finish. They would grill the meat for you so it was almost like watching a performance too. What a night. Thank you!

We stumbled into here without expecting much. The BBQ was excellent. We also ordered some noodles & soup dishes which were delicious. My only qualm with this restaurant is that they won't let you eat there unless you order the BBQ, even though the other non-BBQ main dishes are just as expensive. We particularly enjoyed the noodle dish, so this will definitely put us off coming here in the future. I think it is a strange business decision to be so inflexible with their menu.

Very nice experience with the Korean BBQ and side dishes. Beef and pork both very tender and tasty. Highly recommended. Absolutely need to try beef with bone and sweet and sour chicken!!!

Food was nice, if you like Korean food then you will love it. I found the prices for dishes were a bit expensive for what you got. Small coke £3.50.

Food was really nice and so much fun cooking it all over the BBQ, we were a big group and tried a lot of different meats and starters. The staff are nice and helpful. Drinks v expensive.

The food was fantastic, and had a decent selection of soju. Not our first bbq, but we asked for some recommended dishes and went ahead with those. The menu was a little limited for bbq options, but the quality was superb, and the recommendations outside of bbq options were superb. We weren't asked if we needed help, but we were helped regardless (might be a newcomer thing), and the staff were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Korean restaurant that felt very authentic. We ordered the bbq and that was quite nice. The staff cooks the bbq for you so you dont need to worry about that but if you prefer to do it yourself, I'm sure that wouldve been fine too. The short ribs were nice but a bit pricey. Portion sizes were decent. we ordered 2 meats, a starter andrice between 2 of us. Warning: There will be ALOT of smoke, so i wouldn't advise you wearing your best outfits.

This is a real hidden gem. Don't be put off by the interior decor, which is a little dated, because it's all about the food here! Everything is super tasty with the theatre of the table BBQ. It really is one of the best restaurants in the area. I'd definitely recommend ordering one meat dish each. There were four to a table and we each had a different dish, which allowed each of us enough meat per dish for us to try each. Order a lettuce and salad dish each, which should be enough. Also a must, the chicken side dish, which comes in a gorgeous sticky sauce. We had an amazing time and I thoroughly recommend this place 👌

Authentic Korean food and great place for Korean barbecue. We were told we had to order minimum 4 dishes for the barbecue even though it said 2 dishes on the poster. Food was tasty but it was on the pricier side.

We had a nice evening meal out at the Baekdu Korean BBQ Restaurant. Staff was helpfull and very clean and tidy. We will be back soon. Thankyou for a enjoyable evening

We did the BBQ and it was great (need to order a minimum of 2 portions of meat). There was a big group of us so we got a large selection and it was all really tasty. They bring a charcoal fire pit and attach it to the middle of the table and then a server cooks it for you at your table. It was recommended that we order some salad and eat the nest in lettuce as that is what is done in Korea, which we did but we also got some rice as well. Felt really authentic and would definitely go back. Staff were plentiful and all very helpful and friendly.

Good: sweet and sour fried chicken and kimchi egg omelette were delicious. It was rare to find charcoal grill. What can be better: most of the BBQ meats were not that fresh and the restaurant was understaffed.

Subpar bbq with high prices. Also owner insisted we ordered 4 portions when we ordered 3. Literally 29£ for 2 slabs of pork shoulder from tesco/lidl. Paid similar amount in Olle London but meat quality was way superior. 순두부찌개 was decent though. If looking for bbq places in Manchester just go to Azuma located in Hulme atleast it’s unlimited and better priced.

The best dinner we had in a while! The food was delicious, the staff was soooo nice and even though its not a new building, it gave character to the experience. We are definitely going back and you should try it also.

Super Nice discovery! Tasty food, good wine, dedicated service (they cook the meat for you!). Let's admit it : it's not every day that you can have your bbq in the middle of your table!

Service fast and friendly. The place was busy and the serving staff seemed quite rushed. Food did not always arrive in the expected order, e.g. one of our starters only arrived after we had finished all the other starters and main courses. But the food was good and I would happily go again.

The food here was delicious. It was one of the first Korean BBQ places where I didn't get to cook my own food. Waitresses did it for me instead, which was nice... Except for that fact that they stood over me and blocked my food, so I wasn't able to eat my food until she moved. So my food was cool by the time I could eat it. Addictionally I didn't appreciate that she was mixing the raw chicken with the cooked beef and pork and I had to ask her to move the raw chicken and to recook the pork. Would have been nice if the waitresses were more welcoming and smiled too.

Absolutely love Baekdu! I can't come as often I'd like as it's a little bit on the pricier side but when I am wanting to celebrate then I'll always think of Baekdu for those occasions. My favourite dishes are the mackerel, pickled wild garlic and the seafood pancake. Everything is delicious though and is such a gem in Stockport. Used to visit when they were in the city centre many years ago and it's nice to support a business that's still serving tasty Korean food!

Gorgeous authentic Korean food! The thin sliced beef on the BBQ is amazing 😍 the staff cooks the food for you here. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. You must book in advance. My only complaint is that it was absolutely freezing in there!

Very authentic Korean foods in town. That used to be in City Centre of Manchester, used to be cheaper price when you do not need to order two set of bbq meats. Now you will need to order two meats so the prices very high. Also if the staff can have little bit more of smiles would be better. But the foods still amazing. Highly recommend if you looking for real Korean food.

Our daughter and her boyfriend recommended this place and took us along and I have to say we loved it. It was a very different but great experience having the meat cooked in front of us on the table but we would definitely go back!

The food here is genuine, delicious and prepared directly on the table, service is amazing and accommodating and staff are wonderful. Highly recommend
