Food was fantastic, service was great, perfect choice of food for every pallet.

Such a lovely and welcoming place. Stopped by for a quick drink with a friend and ended up trying their Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are so down to earth and came to say hello to my dog in their secret beer garden. The indoors and outdoors are decorated wonderfully and the owner told us they are building a space outside specifically for dogs. Absolutely loved it. Would 100% recommend, no wonder they won pub of the year!

Fantastic meal, tapas was beautiful, great food great service

Called in after watching fireworks at the local cricket club. Guinness was well kept, and the gin selection top notch. Staff were really friendly as was the Saturday night DJ who made us feel welcome. Looking forward to going back and trying the menu.

Came for a Sunday lunch on the back of a f reccomendation from friends certainly not disappointed had a roast beef dinner mrs had the chicken dinner I can highly reccomend this pub will certainly be back try it you won't be disappointed

Great traditional style pub with superb beer garden, pool table and they do food. Knocked a star off because I found the beer to be rather expensive other than that ...worth a visit.

The Chaplehouse has recently had new tenants and is very warm and friendly, really enjoyed ourselves as the landlord and lady take the time to chat to you, can't wait until next weekend so we can go back. Brilliant old school pub witn no young idiots👌

I live about 9 meters away from this pub and on Saturday 11th June I had to phone up because the music was extremely loud. To the point even with our windows and doors closed we could still hear the noise!!!!! He said he was going to turn it down and after a man shouting for 10 mins the music went even louder. He is the worst inconsiderate man I ever had the misfortune to seek to

Been in a few times previously to play pool but used the beer garden for the first time in the nice weather. It's a lot bigger than I expected and such a nice space. The pub has been under new management in recent months and it really shows, lots of great new additions such as food and the beer garden. Would reccomend this lovely little pub!
