The nurse who did the examinations was very kind and professional. covid test was very enjoyable. there was no pain, just a pleasa... On 09/28/21 I went to surgery to remove the gall bladder. Beginning with the person who conducted the initial conversation about the operation, full professionalism. The nurse who did the examinations was very kind and professional. covid test was very enjoyable. there was no pain, just a pleasant touch, full class. day of surgery. Entering the building, I could not feel like a luxury hotel, that it is a hospital because it does not even smell like it. service at the reception nice and helpful. going to the ward, I had a shock how a beautiful and cozy room is. The conversations with the nurses and doctors went well. The moment of the procedure was surprised because I entered the anastasiologist's room and was put asleep there. Great thing someone really thought. you don't get traumatized because you haven't seen machines and tools. already awake in the room, I was transferred to the room. I spent a nice few hours there and back home. If someone wants to do the procedure, I highly recommend the Yorkshire clinic. thank you

I have had 2 hip replacements here both with the same consultant Mr Brew, one in 2016 and 1 in Oct last year. Both went very well and after 3 months I am back to being able to go out for long walks .I would certainly recommend anyone to have the operation if they are in any doubt about it The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

I was booked in for a tonsillectomy surgery (07/06/22). All the staff involved in my procedure we're absolutely amazing. A very big thank you to Richard the staff nurse and Jenny the theatre staff, they made me feel so at ease and we're brilliant. A credit to Yorkshire clinic. Thank you

I have recently had a procedure undertaken here and I cannot express how caring, proffesional and thoughtful all of the staff were. I truly felt safe in their care and they made me relax despite the anxiety I had around the whole surgery. highly recommend. I had a big spacious private room with a private bathroom.

Had a leaflet posted today and I was going to make an appointment to join in with private healthcare but after seeing so many negative reviews and repeated issues I feel this isn’t for me and the search for good private healthcare will continue. If this changes in the future I might consider this if an alternative option hasn’t been found by then

Very disappointing after the last few visits. Had a appointment for 3.40 today and waited until 4.25 to ask how much longer I was expected to wait to see the consultant as I needed to go to work 35 miles away. During my wait there was only 1 other patient who was waiting to see the same consultant and she was seen promptly and left around 4pm. Not long now I thought to myself. Another patient walks in at 4.10 to see the same consultant, we are still waiting. Finally at 4.25 I ask how much longer I need to wait because I will need to rearrange or be late for work. The response was please come through Mr Manby knows you're here and we'll tell him about your wait and he will see you next. Cannot fault the reception or the nurses at all. Shown to the seating outside Mr Manbys room where I take a seat. In a another minute or so the patient who came in after me at 4.10 also comes to take a seat. Mr Manby opens the door and calls in the chap who came in at 4.10 leaving me speechless and outraged. Was he not notified by reception that I was already overdue to be seen. The time is now 4.35. Having waited 55 minutes I finally decide enough is enough and just leave without stopping at reception because I would have lost it completely. I won't go back to see Mr Manby as I feel over the series of visits he is not interested in my problem, more a case of going through the motions. I have had some pleasant experiences here but this was totally uncalled for. Time management is a essential requirement in any profession but some never learn.

Needed to organise a chest x-ray, however was unable to due to nobody replying to my emails or even to the referral from my GP which is totally unacceptable. I even left a voicemail, and submitted an enquiry on their website. Despite this, no one ever got in touch with me after a week. I instead tried a different clinic, Pall Mall Medical. Sent them an email, they then contacted me 15hrs later and set up an x-ray test for the following day.

Very positive experience overall. I was very nervous before my op, but staff were all very reassuring and it's changed my view significantly about getting treatment. The anaesthetist (Mr Galloway) and the other staff with him on the day we great, as that was the bit I was worried most about, but genuinely they all were as great as they could be. I was obviously asleep during the treatment by Professor Raine, but the consultations with him were really clear and reassuring. The aftercare in the room was great too, really nice staff, very accommodating, checked on me many times. Think I arrived at the room around 1.15pm.... was down in theatre by around 2.30pm.... discharged about 5pm. Can't ask for more. I don't think I'll be anywhere near as worried if I'm treated there again. Would definitely recommend getting treatment at Yorkshire Clinic.

I had an appointment with the consultant, which was £230 for 40 mins, my consultation was around 20mins, but i was still charged the full amount £230. Somewhat left confused. Not really happy. Taking advantage of the situation that ppl are struggling with the NHS. Left disappointed 😞

So, I've just come home having spent the morning as an outpatient at Yorkshire clinic. And honestly the place is amazing. Reception staff phenomenal, theatre staff phenomenal. my doctor was fantastic. But I want to thank Judy, my nurse. Her care and attention to detail was superb. The room was very clean and the service exemplary. I would recommend to anyone

Staff lovely. Was visiting with husband for a day procedure. Firstly the procedure was nearly missed as he wasn't booked in until I chased it up and was told he had been missed (literally). On arrival dissapointed to be told by staff that for visitors there was no option to buy a meal or a sandwich .When I asked where I could get some water from I was told visitors had no access to water dispensers. The nurse kindly provided me with some tap water eventually. Really surprised in this day and age that for someone who is willing to pay there are no options provided, not even the basic water.

Dr Busby, I had an appointment in September and I'm still waiting for a follow up appointment and it's now January. Even though I am in BUPA. I get the impression they they are messing me about. This is my first time of meeting with Mark Busby and I hope it's my last. I'm making a complaint against him to the General Medical Council and to BUPA for the length of time he has taken in reviewing my case. By-the-way, if you want to pay by card they don't have the facility to do so they expressly require cash or cheque.... hmmm I wonder why?

Just like to thank everyone involved in my care during my recent surgery. Although everyone was kept busy all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was kept well informed by the consultant and cannot fault the nurses and physio on ward 1. Also thanks to the chefs the food was excellent. Thankyou

Extremely disappointing experience. Not only did they force an unnecessary consultation on me in order to make money, they also did not clearly explain their process or follow a proper procedure to communicate any of this. Upon complaining (twice) once at reception on the day (e.g., why do I have to come back twice?) and once in writing, they then sent an extremely rude letter saying it was my fault. Similarly the results letter was littered with incompetence and spelling mistakes saying I had ‘scarrind’ whatever that is. The only positive part were the two ladies who conducted the ultrasound. Seriously don’t bother you’d think private would be a better experience and things would be clearly explained. It’s not and they aren’t. Keep your expectations low. Couple this with the comments regarding racial prejudice in the other reviews I’d say this is a place that needs brand new leadership and new progressive customer focused management to get it into the 21st Century.

Waited months for an appointment that then became a telephone appointment, apparently ALL initial appointments are by telephone, that is not the impression you are given when they first write to you. Disappointing when you you've already been waiting several months as it introduces further delay, unless you can now be cured over the phone? I had my telephone consultation and was asked a number of questions including 'are you suffering any hearing loss?' I answered 'no', guess what the answer was from the consultant? 'I'm going to send you for a hearing test'? What for unless this enables you to generate more income for yourselves? I was referred for a specific reason, that being blocked Eustachian tubes, surely I could expect to be seen on the basis that they need to be unblocked/treated? Instead I am referred for a hearing test I don't believe I actually need I've already confirmed my hearing is not affected! Guess what, my hearing test is February 2023, my telephone consultation was 15th December so no help with my problem until after hearing test. What then another 2 month wait??? It just feels as though you're deliberately adding unnecessary investigation to line your pockets!!

My Husband had an operation on his hand, the staff were amazing from arrival to discharge. They went above and beyond to not only look after him but also checking in on me whilst I waited for him to come back to the ward. The aftercare he is still receiving is to the same amazing standard! Great service, lovely and clean building! Would definitely recommend!!!

I was booked for a surgical procedure at the Yorkshire Clinic for the 8/09/21 by the NHS. What an outstanding experience I had there for a few hours. Firstly the hospital has great car parking spaces. It’s easy to follow with all the great signs directed you. They have a easy COVID test centre with such wonderful staff who were ready to help me. Thank you so much to the lovely lady who did my test, you made me feel extremely comfortable. On the day of my surgery I arrived at the hospital. The lovely receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming. I was then shown to my room by another extremely lovely lady, she was very helpful and welcoming. I was in shock to how amazing my room was, it was a private room. It had a comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom with a shower and shower gel if needed. Extremely spacious with 2 comfortable chairs as well as a stool. It had lovely little bedside draw with a small wardrobe. Had a tv with great list of channels and lovely view from my window. It was much better than a hotel actually, quite shocked it was a hospital. I was seen by a lovely nurse called Megan she was extremely wonderful and so friendly. It was lovely to have someone who made me feel comfortable as I was extremely nervous. I was then seen by another nurse who would look after while I was there and his name was Richard who was truly amazing! It was a pleasure to be his patient. He is an extremely wonderful man who has soo much compassion and works extremely hard. He did a brilliant job of looking after me and making sure I was comfortable. Thank you soo much Richard for everything you did for me, I will never forget your act of kindness and compassion. Wishing you the best in everything you do in the future. You are a treasure for the NHS. I was seen by my doctor straight away and the Anaesthetists. Which was brilliant as normally you wait quite a while in BRI hospital, which I personally don’t mind as I understand doctors and nurses are extremely busy and I appreciate them all. Was time for my surgery and a lovely nurse from theatre came to collect me from my room, she was as well extremely lovely and friendly. Taken into theatre where the anaesthetists and another lovely nurse was getting me prepared. Don’t remember much as I went to sleep pretty fast. Woke up in recovery by a lovely man unfortunately don’t remember his name but he was extremely wonderful and comforting. He took great care with my recovery and listened to me as I was in great pain. Thank you soo much to him for helping me during my recovery. He’s been doing his job for 47 years and NHS she be proud of him, he’s a diamond! Richard came to collect me from recovery and took great care of me. I was checked on every 30 minutes after my surgery and asked if I wanted to eat multiple times by the lovely nurse. It shows how much they actually care from you. Was seen by a 2 lovely physiotherapists who were both brilliant and very friendly again. Full of lots of information and detail regarding exercises. Thank you so much to the both of them. Was also seen by a lovely pharmacist lady who was super helpful and kind. Thank you so much to her as well. Time for my discharge. I was discharged by a lovely nurse unfortunately forgot her name as I was still under the anaesthetic and other medication. She was soo lovely and bubbly. She gave my blood thinning injection and was very careful. She was just a extremely lovely lady and extremely helpful. Thank you soo much to the lovely nurse. I was then helped by another wonderful nurse who help carry my bag as I left the hospital. She was very friendly and helpful as I couldn’t walk as well so she walked extremely slow for me. She was amazing as well. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but thank you soo much to her for helping me. I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone at the Yorkshire Clinic for everything you did while I stayed there special Richard and Megan. I apologise for forgetting names but Thank you so much. NHS should be proud of you all! Your kindest will never be forgotten! 💙

Today I have been discharged from the Yorkshire Clinic and I feel I have to leave a 5 stars for every one of the staff from reception right through the procedure to the discharge. Every one of the staff had a happy smiley face and made me feel at ease throughout. The room and food was also fantastic. A big thanks to all

Hi guys I have been coming for appointments for an about a 6/9 months via my doctor to get to the bottom of my problem. And the doctor At Yorkshire clinic was honestly the best guy you can chat to about the issues & how & what we going to do. Also they after service is so much better than nhs it’s unbelievable. Bella was my nurse & honestly this girl made my stay so good that i felt I was at home. Bella went above & beyond. The food is fantastic knives & folks etc could do with a better wash. But not going to let that put a negative impact on my stay. Then night nurse very good service & she was very helpful & understanding. No problems. Then comes morning shift. New nurse carra I think. Omg didn’t know my name then was waiting for me to tell her who I am. Then on top of that she wanted to give me medicine when I am clearly not taking any. She was looking for the work sheet or hospital notes looking very confused. So I have requested a new nurse let’s see what happens. I did ask her to send the warm manager. Still waiting. Had a new nurse come introduce her self Emily. Nice nurse. In general they aim is to make your stay as easy as possible. The kitchen staff need to wash they posts & pans more thoroughly as the glasses are unclean & cutlery is stained. Have to re clean before I use. I know you reading this would say request new ones. The. You have that thought have they tampered with my food so have to keep it cool. Overall excellent nice staff so I would highly recommend you having your treatment At Yorkshire clinic In Bradford. Update. 09.33 Had a nice chat with the ward manager who I met yesterday & was very nice. I have explained to her what had happened & she will make sure things are sorted. They do listen guys any issue address it before you leave. Give them a chance. 5* Update 10.46 Just had a nice chat with Debbie from the kitchen & she has explained to me the process as to why the plates etc are the way they are & I am happy that at Yorkshire Clinic they take everything very seriously & act upon it straight away. Overall still excellent service & food is better than your local trust me. Quality at its best. Well happy & recommending to all family & friends to switch. Ps not paid for the review lol. Honestly best experience in 44 years. A big thank you to all staff that’s looked after me from the moment I turned up at 6am hour early lol. Excellent

Everything and everyone was 100% Staff nurse Catherine that booked me in was fantastic. It was a laugh a minute in operating theatre and a young nurse sat at side of me was great. Thanks to everyone for making it a very good experience you are all top class. And a special thanks to Dr jeffers. For not singing lol.

Really poor customer service My mother (78), in a huge amount of pain, was due at the clinic for an MRI scan. On arrival, due to poor admin and communication, the scan was postponed because years earlier she had a stent inserted in an artery in her groin- and although we were not advised this in advance, TYC needed the make of the stent before the scan could proceed. With a further 10 day delay, and with my mother in increasing pain the scan was changed to a CT - which finally took place last Monday. The results fo the scan , despite repeated assurances that they would be forthcoming - still did not materialise. On Friday, my 84 year old father, tried repeatedly to reach the clinic on the phone , got in his car to drive to the clinic to try and get the results, which were finally relayed late on Friday night. How can this be the standard of care offered by a private clinic to a patient in huge pain and distress?

I've arrived way too early for my physio appointment and have been sat for nearly half an hour. I can honestly say that the lady on the MRI/CT & Radiology reception is the most lovely lady. She's greeted everyone, including myself, with the warmest smile and has been really helpful to other patients. When she realised I'd been waiting a long time, she checked that I was ok and offered refreshments. Deserves a raise!

Too many corridor waits in outpatients. The staff are too keen to shepherd patients out of the comfortable waiting area into the lobby outside the consulting rooms. It is the same when I am paying for care and when I am using the NHS via the Yorkshire clinic. Perhaps there is not enough space.

3 years ago I had severe hip pain mostly in the left hip and top of the left hamstring. Was referred to Enrenst Schilders through my local doctor. After seeing Dr Schilders and having 3 scans at the Yorkshire clinic in the UK he diagnosed laberal tears, and was advised to have an operation to repair it. The months after the operation the pain became increasingly worse. 16 months later and seeing various doctors, surgeons and pain management teams , I was advised to see Professor Griffin in Coventry UK. After various scans and diagnostic injections, it was found that my sciatic nerve was trapped by scar tissue under the external rotators mainly the Piriformis and a thickening of the Glute max tendon also trapping the nerve. I have since had 2 operations with Dr Griffin and I’m now completely pain free and off nasty opioids pain killers which I became physically dependant on due to the length of time I was in pain . I wouldn’t recommend Dr Schilders. After his operation and finding I was in increasing pain, he was not interested, His secretary and personal Physio would not return any emails or phone calls. Thankfully after 4 operations to my hip and 3 years down the line I’m now pain free. After now reading other reviews on Facebook etc it seems I’m not the only patient who has had a bad experience with Ernest Schilders. It remains to be seen if I ever needed an attempted labral tear repair, but I have been told it certainly increased the amount of scar tissue needed to be removed.

Again I have made several calls requesting a call back to arrange a new appointment following previous cancellations by the Yorkshire Clinic... what a surprise no one has called me back. Please can Natalie or someone call me back or leave a direct number and contact name for me to call them back on. At the moment I can't see any improvement in the service. Extremely disappointed. Poor service. My appointment was cancelled at the last minute. A month later and after several phone calls chasing a new appointment I'm still waiting for a call back even though I've been promised a call back on several occasions . Would never recommend .

Edited plus a response from the hospital director. Original. Such a shame that their standards have fallen so low. Long queues to get through on the phone, never enough seating, lots of mistakes in admin, staff acting busy but actually not, lack of basic pastoral facilities, extreme lack of parking, data breaches, lack of consideration for privacy, brisk/cursory attention from some staff. Once you ignore all the above, the care from the doctors is excellent. I have lodged several complaints here but all have been due to mistakes made by admin staff- the doctors are excellent. It would appear to mere amateur/patient such as myself that some stronger leadership and more stringent monitoring or quality assurance is required on the ground from those in charge. Edit 26.03.19 The Hospital Director has replied to my review and I thank her for that. I also sympathise with some of the reasons she gave for the patient experience. I returned to YC last week. In front of 9 people in a queue I was asked for my full name, postcode, telephone number, doctor's surgery etc. Everyone behind me could hear. What could the poor receptionist do? I could also hear the details of each person going before me in the queue. GDPR is NOT suspended due to building work, Debbie. Each patient has a right to confidentiality. I won't be confirming my details like that again and will ask for you by name on my next visit if I am asked to do so. As before the doctor was wonderful. The parking was much better due to the scheme Debbie has initiated so thank you for that.

Really disappointed about the lack of privacy. When you come into reception you are asked your details and this is usually your name, address and DOB. I don’t feel this appropriate and not really sure why they do this the way they do it. I am not comfortable with giving out my personal details in public as it was pretty busy at the time of my arrival. Surely a patients DOB and name is more than enough. I was not seen at my appointment time either waited for just under 30 minutes before I was seen. Parking is difficult as a blue badge holder with severe mobility issues it was disappointing to see that two cars were in blue badge bays without these displayed meaning I was not able to park close to the entrance. I have now decided to go elsewhere for any future consultations.

On behalf of my Dad who came for an operation 13/02/23 "The clinic was spotlessly clean everywhere. Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Nurses were very caring, nothing was too much trouble and they kept me up to date with what was going on. The doctors were thorough and clear with what was going on. I would give a score for the whole experience of 100%. Many thanks."

I have recently returned home from an overnight stay at the Yorkshire Clinic following an operation. The entire experience has been excellent. From the initial appointment in outpatient’s clinic through to the surgery and overnight stay the care has been exemplary. Most notably at every point of contact all staff members demonstrated empathy, efficiency, and a genuine willingness to listen to any concerns and explain everything in detail. I felt very listened to at all times. The administrative team of Vicki Spence and Emma Hastings were fantastic in their efficiency and thoroughness and it is clear The Yorkshire Clinic regard effective communication and organisational skills highly. Dr Briscoe my anaesthetist, Karl, Martha, and Janet my nurses, and the many lovely healthcare assistants were so very compassionate, professional and skilful that I was confident I was safe and in very capable hands throughout my stay. Lastly, special thanks to my surgeon Mr Ian Smith who has been absolutely outstanding from the very first meeting and I am very grateful to have been under his skilful expertise for my surgery.

The whole experience from beginning to end has made this procedure bearable, excellent facilities, excellent surgeon, anaesthetist, aftercare staff and not forgetting the whole team of physiotherapists. The physio team had compassion and understanding and were extremely supportive throughout, as especially without them I would have taken much longer to recover. A big thank you to one and all.

I was so very impressed with all the staff in outpatients, they were friendly & professional. The treatment I received from Mr Hahnel was second to none! It's hard to explain how wonderful it is to be pain free & how thankful I am to all.

No complaints!! The staff were great, the clinic itself had a welcoming atmosphere. Mr Rajpal was our consultant - incredibly polite and straight to the point. I really didn’t feel like leaving!

I can’t praise the Yorkshire Clinic enough. Mr Ahmed and each and every one of the staff that I dealt with were extremely courteous, professional and exceptionally caring. Wish I could name them all but the reception staff, the pharmacy assistants, the nurses, everyone just 10/10. Would highly recommend.

I should probably wait till I've received all my treatment, however I was so impressed with my appointment today that I couldn't wait. I had an NHS referred consultation today and I couldn't feel more confident in the surgeon and staff at the Yorkshire clinic. I was told by my GP that the surgeon wouldn't want to hear about multiple (related) symptoms, however they couldn't have been more wrong. The doctor listened and made a plan to work on both related issues together in order to recieve the best treatment / outcome. I was also regrettably running late, not that I'm encouraging it, but the staff were so lovely despite this - thank you! It can be overwhelming having long standing health issues, and to be met with patience, kindness and professionalism is really all it takes sometimes to give your patients hope. Thank you again!

Just had Ear surgery as an NHS patient. I have never experienced such a high level of care from the minute I walked in to walking out. The staff that work their have created such a positive , caring , nurturing, professional environment and should be really proud. I was so nervous but the reception staff, nurses all looked after me and made me feel at ease. It’s a fast process but all depends on your needs. Nothing is rushed & you are fully cared for . I felt like a private patient! The surgery went great. I had my own room, I had tea & toast, own facilities. I had hours after to recover! I didn’t want to go home. Thankyou , Yorkshire clinic & Dr stracan & team!!! Your utterly the best! Rachel soltan :)

I’ve had a total hip replacement and am fit to go home the following day . All the staff, nurses , theatre team, Physiotherapy team anaesthetist and my surgeon Richard Grogan have been absolutely marvellous. I attended the pre-op group therapy where we received information about the procedure, had the opportunity to hold a joint replacement and was given a treatment booklet. This book contained post op exercises, some of which were recommended as muscle strengtheners straight away. I did all these exercises every day and feel sure that this has reduced my pain to a very manageable level and enabled movement and exercise straight away. Not wanting to run before I can walk, the advice and support given will I’m sure lead to a very successful outcome

I can not thank all of the staff on Ward 1, Ms White and everyone involved enough for the care and professionalism they showed for my dad, me and my family. They are amazing! I don’t know even where to start with what was a real hard time for all of us they was there for my dad every step of the way and for me when my dad took a bad turn after surgery.I can never thank you all enough and I will be eternally grateful for everything you all did and do every day.

Fantastic team of doctors and nurses . The hospital room was very neat and tidy. The only thing which I affected me was the wait timing for surgery . I checked in at 7 in the morning and was operated after 12.. Had I known the wait time I could have conveniently dropped my kids to school instead of my neighbours at 6 in the morning :/ still , good hospital !

Was referred by the NHS to their sleep clinic and attended an appointment in June 2018 was seen by consultant and passed onto his admin assistant for a sleep monitor to be delivered . I was sent a letter with a date in July to receive the item which never turned up. I phoned to let them know and a young man said it had been changed ( nobody was going to let me know) and it would be delivered before 1:00 pm on 8//8/18. Once again it never arrived and as of the 9/8/18 I still haven’t got it . They have offered to deliver another one but I have lost all trust with this clinic and as others have mentioned they are difficult to get on the phone and some of the things I’ve been told I don’t believe so won’t be dealing with them ever again .

DR DAVID RRICHARD STRACHAN AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Firstly i would like to point out how rude and abrupt his behaviour is with patients. I am talking from first hand experience today he talks down to patients and his body language appauling with the huffing and puffing like he doesnt want you there. Makes you feel very uncomfartable doesnt want to listen. extremely rude man. Does not want to answer any questions. Regardless of his experience and qualifications this does not give him authourity or right to speak to patients in a rude tone. i have visited yclinic many times before and have nver experienced this attitude and behaviour. i would like to mention the rest of staff i have made contact with are 5 ***** including nurses. NO PRIVACY big concern as i awated in the waiting area, its small corridor i was directed to oppposite the outpatients desk. I could hear everything the 2 patients before me was seen for and what was being discussed. Definietly needs to be looked in to. DR STRACHAN loud and abrupt voice does not help.

Staff were friendly and polite. Septoplasty operation was a success but a week later, when I had to get plastic splints removed from my nose, the nurse admitted to me that it was her first time doing it. This prolonged the procedure and caused me alot of unnecessary pain. Not the nurse's fault though as she was sent to deal with this without proper training.

(Translated by Google) Positive experience. Nice and comprehensive service. Professional nursing staff (only office staff could improve their behavior towards the patient! ..). Efficient course of the visit. I would recommend. (Original) Pozytywne wrażenia. Miła i kompleksowa obsługa. Profesjonalna kadra pielęgniarsko-lekarska (jedynie personel biurowy mógłby poprawić swoje zachowanie względem pacjenta!..). Sprawny przebieg wizyty. Polecam.

Absolutely Shocking. I've been to a few private hospitals and this is just not up to par at all. The consultant I saw was dismissive and was basically trying to rush me out (was in for 10 mins when should have been 30). Complained about the consultant and got told the Head of Dept would call me back to discuss this, I never got a call back. I had an xray and the doctor was 40 minutes late when I was the first appt of the day. I asked at 15 mins and got told he was just parking up, which was obviously not true. I have now gone back to BMI and I would recommend anyone to do the same as the service I got here was terrible.

I visited the MRI department yesterday, nothing but positive experience very reassuring, relaxed. I needed to have a test so that they could continue with imaging rather than re book this a doctor came to the department and took my bloods. I don't have the best of veins but both GP and senior radiographer managed both Canula and bloods. Part 2 was equally as positive to the very end where I was walked to the exit door. Thank you to all staff.

Came in for a cist removed, way faster than I was expecting a month or 2 tops from first appointment to getting the thing out. I had great care from all the staff. The quality of the medical work was 1st class with my surgeon Mr Boback going the extra mile checking on me late in the evening after working all day. The Physio Arif did an excellent job, he allowed me to go as far as I could and brought extra equipment to set me up well for when I get home. I would like to continue my Physiotherapist journey with him if possible.

My experience was absolutely awful and horrible. I went into the clinic and had a neurologist called Ramadam who was fine when I was speaking at first, as soon as he heard me talk my husbands language to him he became extremely rude like a racist! He told me I should have brought a video in of me passing out like I would have known and like I could take a selfie myself whilst passed out when I’m mostly home alone. He was sarcastic with me throughout the conversation and treated me like a dog. I have been to other doctors and professionals and never had a problem with talking or understanding as I have lived here for 13 years already, he told me I needed to have an interpreter and I wasn’t capable which was extremely unpleasant. I would NOT recommend and I will never be coming back here again. - Joanna

Fantastic service from all involved with my husbands operation today. Nurse Dan, Dr Baldo and the two Amy's in recovery. Didn't like the way one of the Amy's was spoken to at one point by a lady (someone that worked there) that came in half way through my recovery but every one else was amazing. Thank you

For last four years i have been passed around from consultant to consultant. I had a pain near my caesarean scar and right area by scar, i was given endoscopy, colonoscopy, CT scan and MRI scan then first consultants said maybe we will find something by doing a laparoscopy so adhesions found. But still getting excruciating pain by the caesarean scar, saw consultant at Yorkshire Clinic who then referred me for a second opinion as i was not happy so eventually last year saw consultant in Jul who said they will do another laparoscopy to investigate, the op didn't take place until 17 weeks after my consultation. After op still getting pain so it put down to grey area and referred to pain relief specialist who helped with pain temporarily two sets of injections and he earlier this year said. The pain seems to be coming from scar referred me to yet another consultant whom i saw on Sept 19, this time he felt the lumps i could feel and he said have they done a scan i said all the above but he said what about a scan on scar. I said no so he said before he looks at doing a scar revision he wants to see whats around scar and requested a ultrasound. Ultrasound came through quickly when doctor who did scan was shocked and advised the pain your getting are from these showing me lumpy shades he advised its bowel tube appearing from stomach wall and its a hernia so now i have been to see the same consultant who advised that he is not a specialist in that area and he will need to refer internally to the surgical team, who i add started the process with. Now waiting for an appointment to first see them my husband was told waiting time for op is 12 weeks unless you pay then it will be sooner. Great and in emergency situation go to A&E. So if i have an ultrasound ot would of a avoided the evasive scans and ops. And now i have wait and whilst i am wait pain is still worse four year later we know what the pain is but this clinc are passing me and the wait could of been avoided. Not happy at all thank god for last consultant who was a gynecologists who did the scan. So since writing the review i have spoken to complaints but still no resolution to my situation. I am still in pain saw the surgeon whom performed a laparoscopy on me, he was doubting the senior radiologist who performed Ultrasound on me saying he wants to do another MRI to see the hernia whether it is a hernia or not. He mentioned how the Ultrasound is not 100% its too sensitive although i have never had one until the gynecologist referred me for one. The earliest i could have a MRI was December although i saw him in Nov. Another wait, i have had my MRI now waiting for the results although my pain is getting worse and i am still no further to finding out what is wrong with me. The consultant was more concerned about the fact he could not have missed the hernia when he did the laparoscopy, he mentioned that he may need to perform another laparoscopy for him to do further investigation. This concerns me as he is happy to carryout further surgery to investigate the pain rather than speak to the radiologist and establish exactly what he found. He also did not like me and my husband asking for him to put the ultrasound up so we can go through it together and understand what we saw with the senior radiologist. I feel that his ego maybe getting in the way of my health. I have asked to be referred to another surgeon in hope a resolution will be found and i will be able to change my view on Yorkshire Clinc and its care towards patients. Seen Ms Lockwood and Matron Jan Martin well i feel a lot better, full explanation given first i felt let down but after speaking two these two ladies my faith is getting restored. We are now trying pain relief injection which i hope works and reviewing in a few weeks. Hence why rating has changed to 3

😠 Absolutely atrocious place with horrible staff. My mum had chest and heart pain, and was advised to go this hospital (BRI) urgently by the GP. We were waiting 6 hours+ and my mum had blood tests done. The blood tests came back in good results, however they insisted to take two more blood tests!...
