Really nice milkshake - super friendly staff :) small but busy & cosy atmosphere.

Good Coffee(Had given a 4 star previously as I didnt have anything much besides coffee and toast as we were in a rush and planned to revisit later but seems like it might affect the small business from the response to the review initially so changing it to 5-the coffee was definitely good and so was the ambience)

My first visit here this morning. My friends visits a lot and invited me. Nice place with pleasant interior. Good tea and breakfast menu and sandwich. Pleasant staff and owner was really friendly. Will definitely visit again.

Went here today for a quick coffee and some lunch and the service was lovely. I didn’t catch the guys name but the one with tattoos and moustache was so welcoming and you could really see that he loved his job! Food was perfect no fault and the pancakes are to die for! Seriously if you’re looking for a cozy welcoming cafe go here , will defo be coming back .THANK YOU :)

Milk shake was amazing but it’s only a 1 star review for the same reason as many others! •Not pushchair or wheelchair friendly at all and going off the other reviews the layout inside needs sorting to accommodate everyone. *No excuses when smaller cafes we have visited don’t have that absolutely stupid rule about health and safety when they want you to leave your child in the entrance basically unattended* •When I said my little boy (who is only 7 months old) needs his pram so we can feed him and put him down to sleep. They said leave him in the entrance and go find a table they will watch him! ***No responsible person would leave a baby in the entrance of a cafe attended by a total stranger*** Hope you have insurance to look after other people’s kids in a business setting? Really let down by this one!

So far just had Milkshakes and Smoothies from here and have to say they are the best shakes in the area so far. The Raspberry and White Chocolate is a favourite. Good service and very clean, highly recommended

Great little cafe, excellent coffee. I was hassled by the someone about just walking in, saying they had no free tables. I explained I was meeting someone, who was already here. The gentle continued to give me the 3rd degree and asked if they were already here, then where they were and it overall left a pretty poor image on a nice establishment. Especially as it was in front of customers and staff. Be better guys.

A wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and great food. I had to post a picture of the hot chocolate it really put a smile on my face. Oh and by the way, the chess game in the background, I'm winning, sorry Ben.

Great coffee and super friendly!! Usually stop for a takeout coffee but we sat in and it has a great atmosphere. It got busy but we didn’t feel we were rushed, enjoyed our coffee, cheeky cake slice and chat.

Seen this place loads of times. Had a lovely bacon sandwich and a coffe, then a second coffee... both delicious. I was reading my book whilst enjoying the coffee, relaxing and humming along to the tunes. Great wee place...... highly recommended.

Fab place for coffee, waffles, breakfast or a snack. Just lovely 🥰 Today I ordered a super delicious carrot cake with tea. I liked the hourglass cube to know how long to wait.

I met with a colleague here once and loved it. Since then, whenever I pass through, I time it to lunchtime so I can stop here! Friendly relaxed atmosphere.

I had a really good experience here. It was a busy Saturday around 1130. Although they were really busy all the staff were really pleasant and welcoming. Lots of nice touches. Little trays next to the armchairs in the window so you can eat on your knee, proper individual towels to dry your hands after visiting the toilet (which has a lovely painted wall). And the food was good too. Just a really nice environment and I'd definitely go again.

Ventured to The Quaffery, Saltaire after seeing they had started providing gluten free options. I was not disappointed! The venue is gorgeous, service fabulous, and food was wonderful. I had a tuna crunch sandwich which came with nachos and was well presented. The gluten free bread was really good quality and having been disappointed with quality of gluten free bread when eating out, it was a refreshingly positive experience......unfortunately, it was so good that I ate it before taking a photo!

My daughter absolutely loves the milkshakes from here! They are delicious and they also do a great iced coffee. I’ve not had a chance to try the food yet but the brownies are very good. Staff are super friendly and welcoming and the service is quick. A great solid place to visit in Saltaire.

Brilliant little cafe with lovely staff. I think it's a great little niche that they specialise in dark hot chocolates. Good selection of homemade cakes and food. Had a lovely panini. Very reasonably priced, highly recommended.

Great food and drink, the staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. Will definitely call in again. Was worth every penny.

Atmosphere was lovely, food was fairly good, staff were very helpful and accommodating when I asked for no ham in my ploughman's sandwich.

Great little place. We were only calling in for a drink, but ended up having a dessert too, and I have to say it was the best waffle (banoffee biscoff) I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly as I've had a lot of waffles! The staff were really nice too, the owner made an effort to go round the tables and talk to everyone to ask how their day was and to make them feel welcome. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend!

It was my first visit, received a very warm welcome from the owner who helped seat us and explained the menu options. Great atmosphere, attentive staff loved the lemon drizzle, will be back soon to try other flavours! Hidden gem :-)

My fiancé and I love this place! A little gem in Saltaire and we are very lucky to have it on our doorstep! The food is lovely and beautifully presented. There is a great selection of drinks available too. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets are catered for here. We love it as a coffee shop during the day, but we also HIGHLY recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday night when it is open until 9pm as a lovely cafe bar - serving various alcoholic drinks ( including the most delicious cocktails!) The Bottomless Quaff ( a bit like a bottomless brunch but in the evening!) can be pre-booked and is an 100% amazing selection of tapas bites and great value for money bottomless drinks……..The decor in here is fabulous and it always feels like we are in some lovely bar abroad- eating our tapas and drinking our cocktails! The owners and indeed the whole team are super friendly and genuinely interested in chatting about your day/evening. Children are made to feel welcome in here and the look on their faces when the milk shakes or waffles come out is priceless. There is a high chair available for little ‘uns and all you have to do is leave your pram/buggy folded up inside the door which is 100% sensible and no big issue. So in a nutshell ……if you are passing through Saltaire you simply must visit The Quaffery!

I'd definitely come back. Tasty drinks, trendy decor and no loud music so we could have a proper chat. Outdoor seats available. Very friendly staff, a proper Yorkshire coffee place and so much more.

Popped in for the first time with our one year old and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had coffee and panini; coffee was great and there's a good range of panini and treats.

Called in after a walk today , was glad we did. Something for everyone with good vegan and gluten free options (including cakes). Coffee was excellent and the cake delicious. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend this cafe.
