The worst value for money breakfast I’ve had in recent times. Though the full English breakfast has quality ingredients, I just can’t get over the offensively small portion size. Not to mention, they make you pay an extra pound (!) for each turkey bacon rasher. It also makes me sad that people now accept 1 egg and 1 piece of toast as the new norm. What made this experience less impressive was the expensive coffee (£3.50 flat white) which was closer to a cup of lukewarm milk. Otherwise, service was efficient, polite and the coffee bar had ample seating. To management, either change the portion size or the price of your breakfast…

Ordered caesar salad and it’s even not close to Caesar salad. No dressing ,except olive oil. And ingredients are far away from original salad. Very disappointed.

Really nice food , I ordered 2 omelette, and each omelette had 2 slices of toast, and when I ordered two pieces for each dish, I expected no problem without an account, but he told me that a piece of toast costs 75 pence. We know how much the price of a whole toast is. I hope the owner of a sufficient amount looks at that, because he is responsible for a sufficient amount. We know that if I went to an English café, he would not ask me anything about if I ordered two pieces of toast for the dish, and for information, when I asked for two pieces for each dish and I did not finish my dish, and he asked me for money, is this a manager who needs experience and how to think about this deal, and there was a girl who was better than him in dealing

Food was nice and very friendly staff. My 3rd visit to this coffee bar. Will visit again.

Great place for breakfast, staff are always friendly and the food is always tasty however, portion sizes have decreased over the years… other than that always my go to for breakfast amongst other delicious dishes served here.

Smorgasbord was one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Really tasty and fresh , everything was on point. The service was amazing , I wish we had a place like this in london. I was there for 5 hours breakfast and plenty of lattes and coffees but I was recommended a caramel machit …. ( I don’t know how to spell it ) and boy was it good , had it twice but the second time her boss made it was still lovely but not as good as hers. Anyway I’d defo be calling again when I’m next upnorth.

Everything was fresh and tasty. The spicy sausages were very nice and the hazelnut mocha is highly recommended. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable food experience and very friendly staff. Kuddos to them

It's been a while since I have been North and I ended up at Smorgasbord again. Previous experience was extremely good but this time it was even better. The service was on point by friendly staff but more importantly, the food was amazing. It is so good to have consistently good service and great food. Thank you and see you guys again in the near future. PS please open a place in West London.

I really like the mocha's here, right balance of coffee and chocolate. The staff are always friendly. Nice to have a stamp loyalty card system. Also loads of syrups on offer behind the counter, just ask them to add them in (for a bit extra).

Mocha was perfect along with a fresh Croissant...the décor and interior was tremendous and the staff were really considerate and kind.

The coffee is nice. The premises are nice and clean inside. The prices are a little high tho and there isn't a great selection.

A fantastic cafe! Great cutomer service from beginning to end of the process. The front of staff are really informed and go the extra mile at every stage. Tasty food. I would recommend them unreservedly.

Great customer service and delicious food. I ordered a latte and a tomato quiche. After I ordered, they informed me they were out of the quiche. They refunded me and also brought me a new item, a cheese and tomato toastie, which was probably the best I've ever had.

Nice place to visit for a rest while shopping. Good selection of 🍰 and sandwiches.

Breakfast always on POINT!! Very tasty! The service is always friendly always coming here with friends and family. Wife often getting me to try these new breakfast places out went to Brunchville in Manchester all these places care more about presentation and pictures than the actual food itself - Smorgies always delivering quality breakfast

First time customer at this place. What an amazing place it is, the customer service was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the full English breakfast and it was by far the best we have had. The food was lovely with perfect size portions of everything and the homemade tomato sauce was very unique and tasty. Extra star for serving quality twinings tea. We will definitely be regular customers and be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for such an amazing experience

Great outdoor seating for a breakfast/brunch place. Had the roast beef sandwich and beef sausage toastie. Decent portions with a very good price point. Cakes were delicious as well. Coffee wasn't that great tbh which is a shame as its a coffee bar.

A decent coffee however, we sat outside and I didn't find the atmosphere great and didn't sit inside due to the music not my taste. The crockery was worn which is why I didnt give it 4stars. Food looked good.

Great place! Travelled up to Bradford. Stopped to get ourselves some breakfast and coffee. We ordered full English breakfast and coffee. Guy called waqas - very down to earth. I don’t know if he was in a happy mood or they just do nice portions! Well worth it.

The full English was the best full English I’ve had. High quality sausages and rashers, good portion size. My wife got a baked potato and was very happy with it. Highly recommend and look forward to returning.

First time coming here. Entering in, we could pick anywhere to sit down but one of the lovely waitresses offered us more private seating downstairs as the ground floor - outside public can look in easily as its all windows. If you’re coming with family, downstairs is perfect. Ordered the famous full english breakfast with extra rashers which were 95p each but definitely worth it. Amazing flavour. Includes a slice of toast with butter, 2 hash browns, sausages, mushrooms (absolutely delicious especially if you like mushrooms), fried egg, baked beans and a small pot of tomato sauce/salsa. Overall was a brilliant meal, wouldve been better if there was 2 slices of bread but fine. Also got the ambros belly buster sandwich which was filling. Unfortunately, it just seemed to lack a little flavour, salt, spices in general. The caramelised onions inside were perfectly cooked and sweet but wouldve been a great combo if some spices were added. Nevertheless, it was filling. Caramel macchiato was very nice. Theyve got their menu online with all pricing. Everything is Halal. No alcohol sold on the premises. Will be coming again to add more to this review and try out their pastas, jacket potatoes, pizza dishes!

I was really excited to try Smorgasbord but I was highly disappointed. The Down South chicken sandwich was absolutely awful. The chicken was very chickeny and had no flavour - I actually couldn't eat it. When I told a staff member, she just shrugged her shoulders, apologised and walked away. The staff member at the till when I was ordering was really nice. The steak and onion was nice but very spicy. Coffee wasn't great either. Toilets were also out of order. I won't be going back, food wasn't worth it whatsoever - especially in Bradford!

Food was delicious and the customer service was phenomenal. Hajra went above and beyond for us, such a gem and a perfect example of what someone’s attitude should be like on the front of the till. 5 stars for everything! Will be back soon!

Rude service was left waiting for 10 minutes to order, even though I was the first in the queue. Heard the server ask the other server if she should serve me and she said no, once I was served the staff gave off a unfriendly vibe. The cruffin was very tough had to rip it apart with my hands.

Lovely building and lay out, but very disappointed with the coffee and taste, ordered a ice latte and a latte but ended up having to bin both. Ice lattte had one ice cube in it, was mainly milk and barley any coffee and the latte wasn't hot and didn't taste great either, seemed off. Very disappointing and ended up paying for another two coffees down the road.

Was going every morning with my friend to have toast and coffee till today 1st November 2018. My friends toast was not even cooked, absolute awful attitude from the waitress twice in a row!!! Done with this place, as an independent in Bradford City centre they need to value long standing customers. Dissatisfied and dissapoined!!!

Great staff, great cake, great tea. Only lost a star because I went to use the bathroom, went upstairs and the arrow saud ladies and gents, went in and one was a gents toilet and the other was a staff toilet. Went back downstairs and there was only a disabled so I left, crossing my legs 😂😂 otherwise can't fault them!
