What a lovely welcome . Very pleasant staff. A varied menu to delight every taste. I chose the feta with mixed peppers in a brown baguette . It was served with a salad garnish & home made coleslaw. Yummylicious 😋 is the only word to describe it. Good value . I'll definitely be back.

This cafe is on the up! Opening times are better. It used to be very hit or miss. Staff are a lot more sociable now and there seems to be a bigger selection. Hot ready food (not always) sausage rolls etc. A pudding and cake stand Hot drinks and cold Sandwiches made to order (I've not had yet) Ice cream selection too. Love the addition of the house plants now and local artists cards.

To be honest I love to give 0 stars as the customer service was horrendous. The staff (pretty old) at the till today was extremely rude. Doesn’t know how to approach customers. Was on phone whilst talking to me. I felt so discriminated due to being the only Asian there. Bloody disgusting. Won’t ever come back here again. Horrible customer service ever. So disrespectful. I’m so hurt and upset this didn’t happen the last time. Someone needs to give her training in being respectful and having manners.

Even apart from the fact that the cafe is part of the history of the village; they have excellent coffee and fresh cakes and biscuits plus savouries. A bonus in summer is watching cricket on a traditional pitch from the cafés tables.

First time customers. Nice setup but they wanted me to serve a latte that was already sitting by the side. When I politely questioned that, they became agitated and made me a fresh latte, pulling a face like they did me a favour: small ice cream and a latte for £6. No apology. Pretty disappointed.

Nice cafe in historic Robert's park. Excellent paninis. nice coffee. Quite pricey for what you get though. Lovely place to sit outside in the summer and relax.

Lovely to see this building back in use and it is a lovely good value cafe. Even on a cool October day it was nice to sit outside with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Really want to like this place as it's local, in a great location and has struggled to get back on its feet after the floods a couple of years ago. Unfortunately when we visited at the weekend, the food range was limited (sandwiches and panini), there was no card machine, we were only 4th in the queue but it took ages to get served and the food took even longer to arrive. This was early November so not nearly as busy as the height of summer. We waited so long that we had to enquire what had happened to our food, and then had to chase again for our drinks. When they finally arrived. we were underwhelmed. £5 for a basic panini. Some of this may have been due to staff shortages, but the poor menu, overpriced food and lack of card machine are regular fixtures. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be returning for a while.

Such a friendly place for both dogs and their humans. Staff could not be nicer or more welcoming.

Poor selection of cakes etc and a bit pricey. Nice place to sit outside: inside is worn and dowdy.

Great setting overlooking Roberts Park. Good menu with plenty of choice, tasty food and good coffee, also a nice selection of ice cream flavours.

Great place to sit and watch the world go by. At least 2 or 3 times a week, after a leisurely walk round the park and along the canal, riverbanks, I and my brothers sit and have a coffee and a chat. Very busy every Saturday morning with the park run participants and volunteers. Only downside are the prices which are not realistic and on the high side for what you get.

Opens earlier on weekends for Park runs. Cold snacks & coffees. No cooked food until 9am ish. Lovely welcome. Fantastic building.

Ice Cream RIP-OFF! £2.80 for a very small cheap wafer ice cream. It had almost melted by the time I left the cafe due to insufficient cooler storage. I try to give my hard earned money to local businesses but they are taking the MICKIE!

Good is very good. Staff are rude, especially the Saturday staff. They often forget to give you something from your order also

what a difference, such a shame. gone are the plants, childrens' book selection, dog treats, terrific soup, several friendly staff faces and general interesting vibe.

Nice place to stop for a cuppa after a walk, good views of the park. Only one loo, outside under the steps, but it's clean.

I expected it to be a greasy spoon cafe, but it's actually really decent.

A lovely little cafe under Titus Salt's feet with an alpaca statue out front. I had a soup & a tea sat surrounded by plants with a view out to the Aire. There's a toilet and baby change inside as well as an accessible public toilet under the stone stairs outside that is open when the cafe is open.

On a sunny day to sit outside is really calming with great view over the cricket pitch to the canal. The cafe had sandwiches, and all drinks. Plenty of room inside if weather not playing fair and raining.

Visited yesterday. Staff very pleasant and atmosphere good. We enjoyed a Bacon, lettuce, cheese with chutney sandwich and salad plus a tuna and cheese toastie and salad. Both very nice and good value. Would call again if in the area

Sorry, not for me. At £2.50 for scoop of tiny ice cream I will give it a miss in the future. I feel sorry for anyone ordering an ice cream for the whole family.

👍 Food was delicious and the portions are reasonable. Service was good during our visit. Décor is very wild West and there are some good touches. Music was pretty loud inside and needs to be turned down. Overall a good experience
