👍 Lovely decor and the tables are nicely spaced out. The coffee and cakes are on the pricier side but the cake slices are huge and the coffee is good. People often mention staff, lovely, coffee, served, nice, service, friendly, recommend, cake, good,

Had an impromptu lunch out. The staff were lovely, friendly & attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious and very tasty 😋. Will definitely go again and would recommend to friends and family.

A real good find. They moved tables around so we could all sit together. Good food and service. Easy parking. Recommended.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The coffee is delicious, the atmosphere lovely and relaxed and the staff go above and beyond. I took my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday a few weeks ago. I went in at about 9:30am not realising you had to book in advance. Sue bent over backwards to sort it out and arrange for the same day. She is an absolute diamond, always interested and extremely kind and helpful. She arranged it for 3 of us, the table was decorated beautifully and the food was divine. We barely made a dent in it and was given the rest to take home. We were eating cake for days (no complaints here!). I would absolutely recommend trying here, the staff are amazing, the food is good, the coffee is delicious.....what's not to love?

Nipped in for lunch as had an appointment nearby and seeing the paninis are stupidly expensive I just asked for a ham and cheese sandwich on sliced white bread... it was £11.00!! When the receipt came I'd been charged £9.00 for a ham sandwich and £2.00 to add a tablespoon of grated cheese which all fell out, along with the salad items, when I picked it up (seriously, grated cheese in a dry sandwich..?). The prices are an absolute joke, every other cafe in the area is about £4.00-5.00 for a sandwich. The owner must be laughing themselves silly that they've got people paying that much for a sandwich. Service was slow but friendly enough, had to wave a server over when I needed them, food quality fine, not remotely worth the cost though.

Excellent except they served hot water with a teabag on the side. An absolute no no for tea drinkers. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere.

I have been in a few times and never had a positive experience. They seem to have a problem with babies. My friends were once told they couldn't come in because they had a push chair. The staff are always rude about where we can sit with a high chair. We waited to be seated and a couple came in behind us and got seated straight away, when I brought this up, they said its 'because they don't have a child'. What a ridiculous thing to say. Its a shame because the food is always nice but unfortunately I've had to tell all my family and friends to avoid it due to the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Popped in today for my first visit for a quick coffee & a cheeky cake. What a lovely warm & friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back for lunch & with the pooch. Well done 👏 Made a lovely change x

Nice food, if not on the pricey side. Let down by the poor service unfortunately. Meals all came out at different times, so some of us had finished before other had their food.

Lovely place for a simple lunch. Service could be improved. Not busy but we'd eaten our sides before our main arrived and almost finished our main before our drinks arrived. Dissapointing as the food is nice.

Such a pity as food is nice. Table service only - left outside for ages despite free tables. Tables served not in order of seating. Very slow service - food came after drinks had been finished. Could be brilliant - shame!

The food is lovely as are the staff however it just takes far too long. First in today yet it still took 15 minutes just to get served - and that was after we asked to be served. Another 30 minutes before being served coffee and toast - which came at different times. The people next table actually politely left as they were not served at all in 30 minutes.

We had a great server. Very attentive and efficient. Great atmosphere for a lovely coffee/ Brunch date. The food is very tasty and the Dirty chai is a lovely new addition to the day. Thankyou to Joanne and Michael.

Been regular for a while but last few occasions standard of service and food poor, asked for bacon well done looked like it hadn't even touched the pan , tea cake was stale . On arriving we were 5 mins early girl didn't make us feel welcome saying they weren't ready and still setting up , said this to other customers too on there arrival. Surely if you open at 10am on Sunday get there earlier so you are ready for opening . Took 15 mins before order was taken. Shame as this was one our favourite places wont returning .

Really disappointing experience. Waited ages as three of our orders went missing, food cold and had to be returned, orders brought through in dribs and drabs, sticky table, male waiter had a rather unfortunate and displeasing manner, I asked for brown bread and was told I couldn't have that then they promptly served brown bread to other tables. The list goes on. Very pricey and whole experience thoroughly disagreeable. Would not recommend and won't be returning.

I have visited here twice in a week. The first time was midweek to meet a friend for a drink and the second was today (Saturday ) with my partner for brunch. Both times I took our cocker spaniel. I can honestly say the staff were amazing! They were brilliant with our dog. They even brought out a mini bucket of dog treats for free which is a lovely touch! Dogs are allowed both inside and out. I have seen previous reviews about waiting to be served etc but I didn’t experience any of that. They served us in a timely manner whilst giving us enough time to browse the menu. I wish I had gotten the name of the lady who served us through the week as we had such a laugh with her but equally did so with Joanne on the second visit. Thank you ladies. They also catered for intolerances meaning I could have a flat white with oat milk. For brunch I ordered a sausage sandwich which was nice, my only criticism (and this is me being picky) is that I personally prefer my sausages with a bit more colour but I can’t fault it taste wise and that was up to me to have said whilst ordering. I 100% recommend Twenty8 and will be back regularly! I always look at google reviews when trying somewhere for the first time but never do them myself but felt this deserved a review and a good one at that.
