Finally paid a visit over, after trying one of the taps in Leeds. The staff were lovely, and the food was good too. What more need I say about the beer, fantastic.

We held our wedding reception at SALT recently and had the most amazing experience. Poppy's communication in the lead up was great & the bar staff/ team were fantastic throughout the day & evening. Food was fantastic, beer was great, what more could you need? We couldn't be happier with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to book future events at SALT. Thanks for everything! :)

We came in to Salt like lost souls looking for an Oasis in this heatwave. We were not disappointed. It's very Covid safe and the restaurant area is very quirky. We could order through a QR code or with the help of their very friendly waiters. They offer half pint portions of their delicious beer which was perfectly chill and yummy. It allowed us to taste quite a few varieties of craft beer. They serve sourdough pizza which was a real treat. There is also outdoor seating and plenty of space in the taproom area. The taproom area is gorgeous with lots of comfortable seating and a shuffleboard if you're looking for some extra entertainment! Definitely want to go back with a larger group once restrictions ease!

The lovely welcoming atmosphere of this local favourite has been ruined with the introduction of parking eye for a start. Even now i see some recent reviews were staff simply have not made patrons aware of the changes. That annoyance out of the way - i can focus on the food. Menu now is far too simplified and pizza focused. Although the pizza is nice, the old menu was a winner - burgers, fish n chips, sandwiches and a Sunday Roast. Come on.... why rely on only pizza? As for the beers - they continue to deliver and have superb variety although the prices are quite shocking at times. Only needs a few more staff behind the bar who are willing to engage with customers. Normally busy chatting and avoiding service..... in my experience. I hope things can be improved from the Management.

I just wanted to try out an authentic brewery and I’m happy to have tasted some different levels of ales/ipa🍺along with some wood fried pizza πŸ• . Erin was really sweet and helpful with the choice of the brewery, just wish I could see the brewery in action, how the drinks are made!! The overall ambience of the place was lively and lit, very spacious, you could see views of Saltaire hills from the top windows:) Overall great experience, thank you, price wise it was decent!

First visit to Salt earlier this week, followed by my second visit today! The sour-dough stone baked pizzas are amazing, really nice thin dough with perfect blistering on the crusts. I highly recommend the Moroccan Lamb. Beers are spot on with a nice range to suit all tastes, perfectly chilled and matching glasses (if you're bothered about that kind of thing!) We will definitely be returning. Service is quick although I visited when it was fairly quiet.

One of the most interesting pubs we've visited in a long time, good G&t and gorgeous nachos with chilli beef. Highly recommended

Great beer and pizza. Located in an old tramshed with lovely bar area and also a balcony overlooking the brew house. Perfect!

Place with vibe, lot of home made beer to choose. This place is spacious with free parking for customers on site and behind the building - register your vehicle on one of the screens at the bar. Food available incl. fresh made pizza.

Fantastic brewery tap inside a renovated tram shed. Salt beers are great and a couple of guests as well. We didn't eat there but the pizza's coming from the oven looked great. Very friendly service.

Great atmosphere on a Friday night, DJ in the tap room, live band in the bar, high quality pizzas and amazing range of ales brewed on site. See photo for a small taster of the many drinks on offer

This was a great restaurant to dine in at, with a vintage design based somewhat around trains! The old tram line and frames create this, the menu is very clear and toilets were clean. I had a very cheesy Margarita pizza and drink, sitting at comfortable seating although the price was expensive for 30 minute wait.

Nice atmosphere in a historic building BUT like any big old building, is cold inside. I clocked the barmaids wearing 2 tshirts early on and thought that was a bit odd for someone who should be working flat out... but after an hour I had my beanie on and was sat on my down jacket. Is it too much to knock it up a couple of degrees? Even the dogs have gloves.

The pizzas (mushroom and a blonde) were really tasty and well made, with a nice thin crust. Takeaway box was provided for left overs. It was a hot sunny day, so sat outside with the dog and glasses of the Jute. One small complaint is that they didn’t have any sparkling water. You also need to remember to enter your license plate at the bar for the parking

Very busy spot, but the service and the food was excellent. Pizza was beautiful as always and nothing left.

Great choice of beers and drinks. Large outdoor seating area so good for families and groups in fine weather. A little noisy and echoey due to being a large space inside but still a very welcoming atmosphere.

Used the car park. Got a fine. Appealed with clear evidence (bank statements) but the parking company said "insufficient evidence" but reduced the fine to 20 quid. How kind..... Salt brewery say as I've already appealed there is nothing they can do. Don't risk parking unless you fancy paying a fine. If you do risk it, don't pay cash unless you take all your receipts as proof! I won't be going again

Cool space and great beer but sadly the pizza lets it down a bit. It's nice enough but nothing special.

Wonderful place! The brewery and the tap room so beautiful!! Someone thought πŸ’ how to built the perfect place to drink beer 🍻 All the beers was excellent and the food also was good. I'm sure I'll come back this place when I'll be in this area again

What a great spot - a spacious and comfortable building that was pretty busy even on a rainy Monday. The in-house SALT beers are great, with a well-chosen guest range as well if you want something different. Good food too - pizzas form a large part of the menu but I particularly liked the loaded fries! They even do healthier salad options as well. If I lived closer, I'd be here every week.

Visited very recently and enjoyed some fine ales and craft beer. Really great liquid refreshments. One disappointment was the vastly reduced menu that is now in place. I used to love the fish n chips here, or just the fish sandwich and light bite menu. Hope to see the menu improve - as pizzas are not for everyone.
