Very poor service can't handle a party of 13 placed the order for food at 17:40 didn't receive parts of it until 18:50 and some of our party finished there meals before everyone got there meals. We had to ask for them a few times. The gammon was big chunks of fat, the steaks came out on a plate not on a skillet, the BBQ gravy just tasted like plain gravy and all meals were warm not piping hot. There was no table customer service asking if everything was ok. Won't be going again

We had an excellent meal at a great price here again today. Always busy but service is very efficient. Chicken fajitas were sizzlingly lovely and scampi meal was great. Have been several times and will be returning very soon.

We passed true with my family and we thought to stop for food .the place was clean and warm the staff was so so nice and helpful ( Kerry) . The food was delicious and the children had a excellent size portion ( they didn't have to share any of our food 🤣). We will definitely come back

Have been a few times , unfortunately this time my steak was over done when I asked for it medium, don't know if it was because i had taken so long to eat it so it had carried on cooking on the skillet but i couldn't eat it, everything else was good though, ribs were fab , won't stop me coming.

Nice pub with friendly staff. Food was lovely and portions were very generous. Would definitely reccomend.

We are ‘Pensioner ladies that lunch’ careful how and where we spend our money and we enjoy a ‘meal deal’. We received a lovely welcome by the friendly staff who also explained the car parking system. Fans of a ‘sharing platter’ we added calamari which was unrecognisable because it has disintegrated, the 2 garlic bread slices were opposites 1x golden and the other small, hard and burnt :( Everything was deep fried (on enquiring this was confirmed) so at a guess it got 2-3 minutes too long because the chicken wings were hard and the meat ‘woody’. Our lovely server couldn’t apologise more but bless her she didn’t cook it. Sadly our much anticipated joint birthday lunch was a bit of a ‘let down’ we will go again, hopefully with more success next time.

Fruit juice was chilled so did not need ice. My chicken was succulent and sat well beneath the Hunter’s topping of bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. Eton Mess sundae was a good choice for a dessert. Staff were welcoming and efficient and coped sympathetically with advising my son when he stated his allergy potential. My 5 year old granddaughter was happy to order her own dessert from a young man who seriously listened to her choices for Make your own Sundae. A happy family experience.

The Wrose Bull has improved so much and the new menu is lovely! Lots of great deals to choose from and a fantastic modernised beer garden for the summer. I had the loaded surf and turf last time and the garlic prawn topper was beautiful. The Eton mess Sundae comes recommend too. Today I had the Halloumi Fajitas and they were gorgeous. It's definitely becoming our regular choice for a great value family meal out.

The food is usually very good, but tonight there was a long wait. My burger was too well done, the bacon was well burnt and the bun was slightly burnt too.

Food very poor weighted over an hour for starters ! steak was meant to be well done you couldn't cut through it . onion and onion rings very oily not crispy at all very soggy . chips was cold she just told us you can keep them while I'll get you some more just don't want you to not have any fries to nibble on while you wait. ( they're cold I'm not eating them ) Toilet was dirty . person who we was with had mac and cheese they spit it out it was that horrible waited for nothing Overall bad experience

We had a table booked for 4pm before we finished our meal a guy came to our table and put a sign on saying the table could be used until 17-15 only allowing us 1hour 15 minutes to eat our meal so we didn’t have time to have a pudding

Not a noisy place. I have been there with buddies and a good atmosphere inside and outside as well. Rates are good for drinks and food. Narrow spaces between the tables inside. So we went out to the park. Sometimes delayed in food service otherwise everything's good. Must visit places.

Went for food & a few drinks on a dinner time with family and a guy called Tom served us, he was very welcoming and helpful. Haven’t been in for a while but service has definitely improved since our last visit, the food was really good, chicken fajitas are amazing!! ! We will be back, nice to see a friendly face behind the bar ☺️x

The staff were very welcoming We had the two starters and skillets from a Groupon voucher and thoroughly enjoyed our meal ,We will call again and recommend to our family and friends.

What as happened to this place!!!!! Sticky tables/menus.. owner is miserable as sin, looks like he doesn't give to hooters about the decline!!! Food burnt, fatty. 8oz sirloin ends up like a bacon middle by the time you fight with the tough meat to get the fat off!!!! I actually didn't have a meal, my partner and daughter were eating. While at the bar my husband was lookin over at a guy that was sat eating....I asked him what he was looking at......he said that guys got the chefs whites on. I looked over and the coat was far from white he looked as if he'd bein down the pit!!! Daughter got wind of what we were talking about wouldn't touch her food when it came. Definitely not the place it used to be. Such a shame.

Bit of a nightmare, no sirloin in a sizzler pub?? "Jumbo" scampi came on a plate the size of a child's portion. Three of our choices were missing from the menu. Then onto the dessert, fruit crumble still frozen in the middle with room temperature custard. Utter shambles. This establishment had a reputation for being a good food pub, this is the first and last time I'll ever eat here. Very disappointed 🙄

Drove past on my way to a new area and saw this pub. Went back that evening,a Tuesday. The place was quite busy for midweek. Buzzing in fact. Very pleasant staff. Don't really have salt in my food nowadays so thought I would try the gammon with pineapple, fried egg,chips and peas. Lovely. A really good meal. It's a large place and must be expensive to run. They seem to be doing a great job. Glad I called in and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Me and my daughter went for lunch today. The service was very good, nice Staff and the Meal was delicious and cooked well. Well done to Chef and all staff.

great food, friendly staff,( just a little moan if i may ) toilets could do with a paint job on doors as they look a bit drabby need a little TLC, cobwebs with dead spiders on them need brushing off, but great place in all.

Varied menu range however not overly impressed. The sizzle platter didn't sizzle, the onion rings were of the supermarket frozen variety & undercooked. Cheap n cheerful

Very helpful staff. Emma was very friendly and helpful. I used vouchers Offers that had been emailed to me. Drinks and food were great for me and my 20year old nephew. When they cleared our plates they could gave let us know kitchen was closing... but Emma made dessert for us herself.

Food took ages to come was bland and came cold and was deffo done in the microwave definitely not the same chef the last time we came chef was AMAZING new menu said tikka curry and was a microwave one from aldi NEVER GOING BACK and bet we don't get a response

DO NOT GO HERE 😡😡😡 complete waste of money would not even feed the food to my 🐈. All meals come cold 1 of my kids didn’t get his 🌽 on the cob and the hash brown bites. My partner got a curry that we was told by staff that it was a microwave curry and it’s cost 8.99. To say we have been here before a few times and have never had a bad word to say this was the worse waste of money ever as none of the kids ate there food. And as to the change to the menu it’s the worse mistake you have ever made.

Great food, Great prices and even better service. Had the house sharer, the triple hunter & the BBQ hunters chicken. Portions were generous and the chicken was grilled to perfection. Our host Laura couldn't have done enough for us and was really friendly always smiling and attentive. Her recommendations were spot on and we enjoyed it so much we ordered dessert. Can't wait to come back!

Food was lovely. Would have preferred cod or haddock. Basa not ideal.
