👍👍 Really nice venue. The outside has been done up beautifully and there are surprisingly lovely views. Loads of excellent seating space with separate tables and benches, good for families and very convenient near centre of Shipley. People often mention area,

Lovely old style pub with a real fire on cold days. Good selection of drinks. A very quiet hidden gem, so please do get along and show some support.

We came for a birthday gathering downstairs. What an amazing building! There is so much potential to really enjoy its character with the new life that's been put in. Will be nice to see it again after a bit more time. The STAFF WERE LOVELY, HELPFUL, POLITE, EFFICIENT, ATTENTIVE. The prices were affordable. Will definitely come again and recommend to others hiring the venue.

A fun pub with outdoor djs and a downstairs 'club' bit that I haven't been to yet. It's a spit and sawdust vibe on the inside with bare floorboards. The beer is palatable and the staff are friendly although service is pretty slow.

Nicely refurbished drinkers pub. Fantastic range of ales with 3 dark ones on when I visited. Need to put some more coal on the fire though - it was pretty chilly!

Good old fashioned pub, first time been in in ages, the outdoor area at the back is huge and we missed the band this time, but it's an excellent venue for outdoors events or when the weather's nice. They've done a great job with the car park making the outdoor area have enough seating for over 40 people, and the text order system works really well. If you've not been in ages like myself worth a revisit as most places are packed in the area that have good outdoor seating now the nicer weather is here!

A lot of thought has gone into the refurbishment, all to a high standard. Local ale and half a dozen Yorkshire ciders too. Stone walls, coal fires, candles on all tables. The staff were knowledgeable too. CAMRA pub of the season too.

Very cold and dark pub, not really my type of place. It's seems to be trying to hard to be atmospheric. Definitely not working. The outside new seating area will probably be fine when the weather improves in the summer. But think not !!

An alright place for a drink but cold inside despite having open fires. One bar lady in particular comes across rude and pulls the frothiest pint I've ever seen. They do have a good selection of cask ales mind.

What a beautiful place. Spent a gorgeous sun-drenched afternoon in your stunning beer garden. I can’t wait to go back.

We Iove the return of djs apart from the early ones, before 7.30pm last Saturday drew a questionable crowd. The past events have been brilliant and just what the area needs!

Recently reopened. Original inside with good beer selection. Large outdoor area - worth a visit.
