I have just been to Horsforth Village Museum with my family. This was our first time to the museum and we really enjoyed it. It is very well presented, with lots of the local history on display. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they told us a lot of things about the area around our home and recommended some nice walks. We were more than happy to make a donation on the way out and will definitely go again at some point.

This delightful gem displaying history on the very local scale was enjoyed thoroughly by my parents in their sixties and my son aged three. Entertainment for a rainy Sunday afternoon in Horsforth.

Quaint little museum covering the history of Horsforth, only open at weekends (short opening hours too) as it’s run by volunteers (who are lovely), bigger on the inside than it seems too, worth a look downstairs for the mosaic of the Queen which was a collaborative effort on the part of a local art school.
