Lovely new building. Friendly staff, there for training, nice new facilities.

Very cool architecture, combining an old church with a modern building. When I was there they had a display of some of Anne Poster's diaries. We did that while the kids were in the children's section having a ball.

Halifax Library is a great place to visit. The staff is friendly and will help you find anything you are looking for. There are quiet corners in the library where I like to go and read, especially on sunny days. I also really enjoy going to the children's section with my kid where they have books, games, and puzzles. They have computers, and a printer where you can print out whatever you want.

Extremely helpful staff. A superb range and selection. Plus workshops for children and a wonderful children's library. If you're not using it already, you really should.

Amazing place. Study area on the top floor is great. Tables equipped with sockets if you want to bring your laptop. Somewhere quiet to read / work / study or pass the time.

I visited today to collect my library card, I've not visited the library in its new location until today. Not easy to find the entrance when heading to it from within The Piece Hall, but if coming from the road it's just at the top of the steps just outside the walls of The Piece Hall. The man at the information desk was polite, patient and very helpful. I'm looking forward to my next visit when I plan to spend a bit more time in the library.
