Epic view !! Final stretch to the summit was a bit challenging for me ;) Well worth the effort Layer up as I've been told the weather can change rapidly.

Fantastic views of Yorkshire and Lancashire on a wonderful sunny day, quite a steep difficult climb to the top of West Nab but absolutely worth it... definitely best to check weather forecast before setting out !

This is the second time I have posted a comment on this area. The first time was to correct a blatant spelling error. This one is a distinct misnomer of the site indicated on Google Maps! There is NO shooting lodge at West Nab or anywhere near West Nab. There is, however, one located at the side of Deer Hill, adjacent to the reservoir, which is at the other end of this geographical massif. In fact, if I remember correctly, the actual shooter's lodge ('rifle range') is located on what is known as Shooter's Nab. I would also like to correct the alleged location. It certainly is not Holmfirth. It is approximately 2 miles east of Marsden. I hope people haven't been wrongly directed here because of this mistake. I had to actually give a star rating in order to make this posting!

Wow, what an amazing area in the stunningly picturesque Yorkshire countryside, the rock formations seem to defy gravity.

Well there is not much to say about this location. Other than it's a free parking area. I can get quite busy as it is good access to the Pennine Way, and it offers good views. I visited the site through work as we were airlifting from the site, and would like to thank the visitors for putting up with the interruption to their site.

Discoverd it by accident and it was amazing. So peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

A beautiful place to appreciate the sunset/rise.

Wonderful views from this summit with a straight forward ascent from the road. Try however to keep to the paths as it is rough under foot otherwise.Superb low difficulty bouldering spot with stunning scenery. Parking is difficult, but it is rarely busy. The top of the hill is where the best boulders are, its only a 5 minute hike.

Brilliant simulated shoot, great birds, lots of variety. Excellent hospitality, food and drinks all included. Will 100% recommend going. Funny banter non chargeable. Great team, great shoot. Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍 😊

Had an amazing day, not my first simulated game day but by far the best. Amazing value, food was spot on hosts are really nice people made us feel so welcome and nothings a hassle. Set up it great really well thought out best equipment on the market and all put to use with an excellent lay out. Thanks a lot and see you again soon !!!

My dad and I purchased a 100 flat shoot. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel so welcome, and was very polite and helpful. We begun our shoot with a small simulation game shoot which was amazing. For someone who’s never taken part in a game shoot or a simulated one this was fantastic. Clays flying everywhere and me needing to reload just as fast as I could shoot. We then went up to a couple of traps up at the top of the hill where we had a 1:2 shoot with the shoot leader and myself and my dad trying to hit some pretty fast movers, this was a challenge, but very good fun and really helped with guidance from the shoot leader. Just as we were finishing up I managed to hit a pair which rounded off the day perfectly. Thank you so much to you both at West Nab Shooting Lodge, we will be back when we can again, and hopefully bring some friends.
