Don't know who Barden was, but I loved his tower.

Beautiful area, restful and clean. Had a look around for the history and heritage, great place to take a small snack/pack lunch and enjoy as part of the wider experience of visiting Bolton Abbey.

Worth a quick call in if passing, probably not enough to see if making a special trip. There's a small carpark, no height barrier. The building is fenced off, so a few minutes walk around the building is as much as there is. Not a huge amount of information on site, but plenty on the Internet if more needed.

Great place for a wedding or to celebrate an anniversary celebration of some kind, plus there the overnight stays at the Bunk Barn which can accommodate around about 15 people. Great for countryside walks to sober up to.

Was there for our sons wedding, and what a beautiful, magical place it was. Wondered why they had chosen this place so far from home(Hull) till we drove up to it, and saw this magnificent building, it was breathtaking. And as for the wedding itself, the staff couldn't have been more helpful if they had tried. Was a great day and certainly one we will never forget. I would highly recommend 1it to anyone.

Bad mannered management. Need to learn how to deal with visitors or shut down.

What a stunning place for a visit to soak up the atmosphere of this place. It's just so steeped in history, myth and legend. It must be such a mystical experience to get married here in the ancient Chapel.

Fabulous ruin which has been preserved. Cannot go inside as all entrances are blocked off. Quiet a sight on the hill side, would of been a site before left to go to ruin

Little bit cosy and small for the amount of people we had there but the staff were absolutely fantastic and it is such a beautiful place

👍 This is a beautiful place however I feel that if you don’t make the most of everything the £15 charge is a bit steep. We parked at the strid car park and the women in the tea shop was lovely, very helpful and polite. The paths and signage are good, although I felt the warning signs around the strid...
