Legends were created here in Holmfirth, Yorkshire, where the world famous 'Last of The Summer Wine' was filmed, (along with Hepworth just down the road). For those of you who are fans of the show, this is a must to come and visit. So much to see and do in this amazing town, set in the beautiful Yorkshire Downs. When walking about it is as though you expect to bump in Howard and Marina, up to their tricks, or see a red Triumph Herald being driven recklessly around! But no, that is all a dream, as most of the cast have now sadly gone, they remained friends forever. Many pubs and restaurants to visit, most of which appeared in the series, along with many shops and museums, you can even stay at Nora Battys' cottage, self-catering, but you would need to book at least a year in advance, as this is extremely popular. I recommend a visit here for at least a week to take in all the tours and the walks. Highly recommended, especially the official 'Last of The Summer Wine' tour. 5 star

Nice collection of props etc from the loved TV series and lots of information on the 'story' of the show. Gift shop has lots of memorabilia to buy. The ornaments in the glass cabinet are particularly good. Worth a visit if you're a fan and in the area. There's plenty of cafes Holmfirth and even Sid's Cafe is an up and running cafe so you can grab a bite there ... if it's not busy!

Spent a whole day here,a walk round the shops to start with, then a cup of coffee, tins of coke at Sids Cafe, then a tour of Last of the Summer Wine Country, on an old bus, which they even let dogs on,driven by an old boy who takes you up and down country lanes, giving a. bit of history and background to what you were passing very informative

We've visited a couple of times and will very likely visit it every other time we're in Holmfirth. It's a delightful and poignant experience for fans of the show. It provides a wonderful opportunity to remember, laugh, and feel a little pensive that all good things come to an end. A lovely tribute to an amazing cast who continue to touch our hearts all these years later.

This little exhibition with lots of memorabilia and items from the show is just fab. Only £3 to get in and plenty to see. The video off memories by the cast is just great too. Finished off our LOtSW tour to the area with a visit here after a cooked brekky in the cafe above (separately owned) If you are a fan this is a must see!

Second visit. Really interesting seeing the props and watching the video. Good place to go if it's raining or the bus isn't doing tours.

A small but interesting exhibition, Unless you watch the TV program reviewing the series then you'll only need about 15-30 mins to see it all. £3 entry for adults

Simply lovely with a charming wee lady on the tills. Lots and lots of beautiful memories of the program and the VT is just joyous and heartbreaking at the same time as compos death is featured but the cast also share many happy memories. We all loved the displays and quotes and there was plenty of wee gifts to choose from. Just lovely 🌹 Btw it's only £3 to enter and then the fun begins
