The most fantastic place, we visited the house as well as seeing the many sculptures in their beautiful settings. Such an interesting place, we learnt so much about Henry Moore and his love of natural forms that he recreated in his sculptures. The cafe is delightful and serves really delicious food at reasonable prices.

Lovely area to walk around with your Family, lots of different sculptures to look at and a lovely little gift shop and café. Highly Recommend.

It is an excellent option for a day out in the nature and art. The site is incredible, staff is super nice and knowledgeable. The guided tour inside the house is a must. Unfortunately it was Saturday and could not visit the archive has it opens from Mondays to Fridays but I will definitely be back! A good selection of sandwiches, salads, quiche and cake in the cafeteria. If you want to have a quiet day away from the chaotic London and to be surrounded by incredible art, try this place! Highly recommended.

a superb open air museum, with most beautiful Moore's sculptures in a beautifully landscaped gardens with lambs and sheeps. ..kind cafeteria staff and nice that tickets last 12 months so that one can visit again or bring friends again..the place takes you through Moore's life and work..and is perfect for picnics too

Visited on a lovely sunny day. It has improved since our last visit (many years ago) . There is a very nice cafe and picnic area. The studios were open and nice and cool to wander around. The exhibits are amazing, and it's not until you are up close you realise how big they are. A great day out.

I’ve been a few times and this place gets better each visit. It is the perfect place for a gentle stroll, the landscape and gardens are very evocative of his work. The inside spaces are amazing and give you a real insight into his working process. The guides are very knowledgeable too.

Essy free parking. Nice cafe. Relaxed wander round the enormous bronze sculptures. Maybe they will eventually add an info centre so we can better understand the man, his works and the processes used to make the bronzes. The ticket gives us a year's admissions so I hope we will go back and visit the house which may give us more context.

Fabulous place to visit made even more enjoyable by the obvious passion and knowledge the staff have for Henry Moore and the site itself. Thank you Angie for all of the information about the amazing tapestries. We will definitely be back.

I loved this place. The tapestries are a must see. My favourite sculpture is the bronze on a hill and the mother and child. Yummy cakes in the cafe by the way

Lovely place for a peaceful and relaxing day out. Great café. Easy walking around the main site. The sheep fields have more uneven ground so we just walked along the edge, but still amazing views of the large sculpture on the hill. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the art. Not the easiest place to get to - I recommend following the route on their website from Bishops Stortford, as the roads are mostly not too narrow.

Unique collection of Moore's art presented in its original context. Good tour and super refreshments.

Amazing venue. Good overflow carpark. Super map and guide leaflet also very well described by the sales staff. Good quality food in the cafe at reasonable prices. Arrive when it opens and allow plenty of time otherwise you won't see it all.

Interesting exhibits in a lovely setting. Pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant food is good quality and reasonably priced although the service was a little slow the day we visited - fortunately not a problem for us. Allow 2-3 hrs for an interesting relaxed visit

Tranquil place to enjoy some abstract shapes and get some lovely sandwiches and cake in you. Also, if you're lucky, you'll win best Blouse of The Day.

A beautifully relaxing way to spend a sunny Sunday. Bicycle parking is available, although it is limited (4-6), and there's a decent pub opposite if you want something more than coffee and cake in the cafe

Give yourself a day to gently wander round at your leisure. Wonderful site in the countryside designed to view Moore's pieces in natural surroundings.

Lots of outdoor space with lots of sculptures to explore as well as studios and galleries. Lovely cafe that can get busy sometimes, with outdoor seating and one vegan sandwich option, sadly no vegan cakes. Don't miss Hoglands, the house next door is an optional extra and is Henry Moore's former home housing his personal possessions and private art collection. Fascinating place

Quite an inspiring place. Just 1.5 hours out of London. It has an impressive sculpture park, his house and archive. Truly enchanting and worth the visit.

Amazing location for our daughters wedding venue. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. All facilities were spot on, with the added attraction for guests to wander around the grounds. A truly memorable experience 👍.
