This park is a wonderful place for day visit and have a peaceful time with family. It has 2 lakes, one is small. Lots of ducks and fish roaming around in the lake. It has woodland and walking track. There are two small hills to climb up and see the whole city from there. It is very quiet, gives tranquillity when walking. Dog friendly. Seen many sign of BBQ though official notice hanging not to do so. Altogether had a wonderful afternoon and stayed till sunset. Enjoyed thoroughly. Definitely recommend. Parking available in the street next to the GP. In park parking closed, don't know why. No toilet facilities.

There are some nice trails, a big pond with swans and ducks. Had an enjoyable walk with my family. Tranquil in the summer.

HORTON BANK TOP COUNTRY PARK is a beautiful relaxing place.Need to well maintain. If Bradford council maintain it nicely this place will be one of the best spot in Bradford. You can see beautiful sunset from here.If summer time you can spend your free time with family here.Nice long walking place, beautiful natural view.Big car park, large water and lots of duck.I love the rock as well.I been there many time and took some beautiful photographs. The main gate is locked for car for long time, I do not know why.Local council should work out with this place. It is a good place for fitness activities.

A really lovely tranquil place, very well kept , the grass has just been cut all the bins have been emptied , a great place to get away from it all without having to drive for miles

There is a small lake that sits in a wider basin with plenty of ducks etc. It was originally a quarry that later became a water supply reservoir for the local area until the water became contaminated and the dam was found to be unsafe. The water level is now much lower but you can still see the old water level marks carved into the stone blocks going up the bank near the bridge. Its free to enter (unlike some country parks). The car park is currently closed but there is parking along Great Horton Road - although my satnav tried to take me round the back, off Pasture Lane. It had been raining before I visited so most of the paths were quite muddy and I didnt have time (or appropriate footwear) to see most of it. There are a few negative comments about antisocial behaviour on other posts, it seemed ok when I was there, things might not be the same in warmer weather.

It's beautiful park. But a lots of vegetation growing in the area. Animals hidden in. A little dangerous. Some people come for swimming in the lake in the warm season, but the water is dirt. Swimming not allowed and fishing too. People come for feed the ducks but not allowed. The dogs owners need to pick the poo and no drops the bags into the brushes.

Beautiful place but was very quiet. Definitely recommend to walk dogs or a lovely walk round the reservoir.

It's a good place to walk a dog and there is a car park however there is so a lot of bitter a d broken glass about so you have to be vigilant. The paths can be muddy after rainfall

Beautiful park, however issues with anti social behaviour and can feel intimidating at times.

Beautiful place to walk, spoilt by certain individuals who have no respect, throw rubbish, think it's funny to jump in the water scaring the birds, letting off fireworks!! I have seen volunteers who regularly walk round ensuring the wildlife is safe and collecting rubbish, thank goodness they are there otherwise this beautiful spot would be not fit for purpose.

Lovely day for a walk round the park. Some areas are water logged but most areas are accessible. Loved the wildlife there Swans, Canadian Geese, Coots and Ducks.

The lake area is very peaceful but The environmental department needs to be attentive . Some illegal activity is also seen ...

Went to see my brothers plague and tree that has been planted. Gates looked at top so no cars can get to the car park. Not buggy friendly or old people friendly.

Great place we walk the dog every day he loves it . There are not many other dogs around so he has the run of the park most of the time .

Lovely little nature reserve to have a nice walk around with neat walkway around the small but tidy lake, dogs allowed but required to be on lead near certain areas, No fishing signs up in the area, ideal for a picnic. Due to second lockdown, you cannot drive down only a walkway.

Such a lovely place, but ruined by the people who can't be bothered to take their rubbish with them. We also found dog poo on the ground, this spoilt our little picnic after our little walk around .

Very packed with families, great idea to have everybody cooking near the trees. I could not walk anywhere inside as they took over all the walk ways. I had to climb over plants and trees to get round. Not a pleasant experience

Worth a walk around. Park on the road side. Lots of little paths. Unfortunately a bit of litter there (we put what we could in a bin). If you're nearby I'd say it's worth a visit, specially for the nice views on the hillside part
