Peel Park is large community park with well laid out paths, gardens, a small lake, play areas, BMX track, bowls and sports pitches. Most of the features you would expect in a Green Flag park can be found in Peel Park. Although laid out in a small valley the paths are surfaced and with largely gentle gradients they are accessible to all and ideal for gentle exercise. The terrace with public sculptures leads to a viewing platform that offers excellent views over the City of Bradford.

Nice late evening out with the girls.....lost one in the sand pit!!! The other burning of energy.... They are doing a good job of revitalising the play area. Good on you Bradford Council : ) A short walk home and it wasn't long before sleep enveloped them. Thank God for parks like that.

Great day out with lots to do, whether a walk round the park (options distance and choices of stairs or not), sit down by the duck pond or choice of two play areas for the children to enjoy! Weekends gives you the luxury of onsite cafe being open and run by amazing volunteers

Peel Park, Bradford is such an amazing place to be. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A funfair event week to cater to the recreational needs of the young ones and the entire family. A lovely way to spend time together as a family and bond.

I absolutely love this place! Itโ€™s quite big, you have lots of things to explore and itโ€™s never very crowded!!! Thereโ€™s also very nice areas to sit down, a cafe and lots of benches that are quite nice. The sports/games areas are well mantained and not lots of rubbish around, which is quite important in Bradford!

Nice, big park. Upper and lower play areas for kids. Skateboarding area, exercise machines. Paths are tarmacked and are disabled and buggy friendly. Great for running, walking, etc. Very popular with dog owners! Tip: Avoid walking on the grass due to the amount of dog poo!

Great park with lots of history. Explore and learn, new playgrounds added at the top end of the park and bottom. Regular dog walkers who live nearby also walk their dogs. Beautiful atmosphere when the weather is warm.

Lovely park , now even better as the new playground is fully finished , grandsons love it ! Apart from that it is a nice long walk and the grounds are well maintained.

Took my kids as usual , they always have fun on the trails ,the gym equipment, the play parks ,feeding the ducks/swans(or maybe geese i honestly dont know what the animals are) and most recently they have been testing the dirt cyle track out and have always been impressed! My only problem is lack of water in this heat and due the covid, i wonder if water fountains will ever make a return? Seems they should in this coming heat.....

They do an epic bonfire night display every year, definitely worth the visit. For walks and jogs around this park, you can't go wrong. Lots of areas to explore with measured mile indicators marked on the ground. Areas of incline/decline suitable for all levels.

A lovely park. Not much litter thanks to the friends of peel park that pick up the litter other people leave instead of putting it in the many bins provided. They do an excellent job.

    Loads of space

  • 1/5 Julie E. 3 years ago on Google
Full of dog poo!!! This is a no no for me in any public space, but in a park where children are supposed to be free to run around and play, no way. There were numerous large heaps of it, some had been sprayed with yellow paint to highlight it both on the paths and grass. It was even around the base of a childrens wooden post activity which my grandchidren almost trod in. Wont be returning any time soon. This should be addressed immediately. People are so ignorant thinking everyone else should put up with their mess. A big shame as the park is a lovely place.

Very nice place with nice lake and playground. Good place for running, walking. However dogs are often running freely without leash

  • 4/5 Mike W. 3 years ago on Google
The park is keep very nice clean and tidy, the only thing that needs fixing is the dog walkers that let there dogs off their leads and let them run around while the person with the dogs are chatting away to each other and don't see that the dog has fouled on the grass or the paths is the dog owner's fault not the dogs.
