The best attraction in the city of Bradford is this park with a giant mirror pool. The square is surrounded by eateries, multiple grocery stores, adjacent bus station and a cineplex just across the road. The historic building of police museum and courts give it an even better and soothing look. The lights on the building has a very festive colourful decor making it a noticeable landmark. The pool has lighting effects with about 100 fountains that make it a beautiful sight markedly at night. The pool is not deep and people usually sit around in summer with their feet in the water. It feels a bit abandoned in winters especially when itโ€™s not sunny.

Abplace to spend some quality time. I walk across through it everyday, be it gong to the train station or getting grocery, but I certainly love the energy here, itโ€™s very peaceful & reflective. Place is maintained well by the team. There are lot of restaurants near, pubs, shopping, cinema, theatre, museums and hotels.

Fun place in the summer for the kids and family with fountain display and surrounding food shops great for once you get hungry. In the heart of the city. Young daughter loves it that much its hard to take her back home.

Very recreational and exhilarating, just love sitting by the benches here and watching the great Victorian architecture on the buildings, the calming fountains & a neat Starbucks closeby:) Itโ€™s indeed the center point of Bradford with the market around the other side, university of Bradford on the opposite side! I walk across through it everyday, be it gong to the train station or getting grocery, but I certainly love the energy here, itโ€™s very peaceful & reflective!

My grandkids love this place. This is the place to be on a hot day. What better way than to cool off running through water. My grandson comes to visit Bradford each year during the summer and always wants to come here. He loves to just run through the water and to be free. It has lots of food and drink places surrounding it, which makes it great for anyone's pocket. We usually buy water pistols before coming to spend the day eating sandwiches and just playing having fun. Where else can you realistically go these days and have a full days fun and not have to spend money unless you really wanted too? Not many to my knowledge. Car parking can be an issue, but you do have spaces at Broadway car park, which is close. Or just get the bus into town, get off at the Interchange, and just walk 100 yards down the street for endless watery fun. See you there when the sun is out. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ

A lovely place on a hot sunny day to watch the world go by and read a good book. Lots of seats in sun or shade. Take a towel if you can't resist the water.

Look ok itโ€™s great to sit by just could do with cleaning up on the decking as itโ€™s quite sticky benches are filthy the other issue is the water in the mirror pool has chlorine or something in it dark clothing easily bleach spotted if the water is drifting due to breeze etc

I have experienced the good and bad. The Park is the heart of the City and serves as the melting point for cultures in my view. It is close to the business district, the college & university and also the train station. Due to this, there is a constant flow of people through the Park; young adults and working class especially. It is a fun place to be for those that love meeting people. And a place of solitude in the early hours (mostly before 9:00 am) when one can have a seat to think and admire the contrast of the victorian style architecture of the adjoinng building (pictured) against the contemporary buildings around. All said, it is also not uncommon to run into bad elements when dark. Hopefully, the police will increase patrol during these hours.

Think this beautiful area needs a central attraction to make it more appealing for both inhabitants and visitors! Something in line with drinking and eating establiahments in near vicinity! I think a Parisian cafe experience with lots of tables and chairs. Also, maybe free taste experiences promoting eateries and other businesses. Maybe, every 3 months a business puts forward an advertising campaign which aides 'all' businesses in Bradford. Business indexes published, with businesses wares, services highlighted!!

The children absolutely love this. It's chlorinated water so my initial worries about cleanliness and germs were quashed. There is plenty of space for all with lots of places to find drinks or food and still watch the children. Theres a changing area which is kept clean to get into appropriate clothing away from prying eyes. Nothing but smiles all round adults and children alike.

Itโ€™s a very beautiful place and even more beautiful on a sunny day, the kids and elders enjoy alot. There is lots places to eat near here. Familyโ€™s make their evening memorable by coming here.

Its getting there, and becoming City of Culture 2022, is a good start for regeneration.

Bern today for a splash with my client, it was lovely to see others doing the same. The water wasn't fully on but was enough for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed a picnic whilst sat around the water. Its just a but off putting with some ppl standing around looking at bags etc but that's not City Parks fault

Absolutely beautiful when the fountains are running. When it gets darker it will be even nicer with all the lights around here. Restaurants nearby also which is always a good thing, and pubs, shopping, cinema, theatre, ice skating, museums and hotels in very easy walking distance.

Nice good attraction in the city centre with lots of fountains. Beautiful place and kids will definitely love to play and get wet if fountains are on. Plenty of space though only a few benches and need more to add. No car park but can get many nearby.

This is quite a lovely setting against the backdrop of the City Hall. In the summer the fountains provide lots of fun for children to play in shallow water whilst parents can sit and watch on the side. Cafรฉs are nearby too. It's not what you expect in a City Centre but worth a visit especially in the summer.

A little cold afternoon but good. I was doing some open air preaching and singing with friends and brothers in Christ, and engaging with the few people who were walking through City Park. Some university and college students and others going about their business. City Park is an attractive place and is an opportune place to meet with people of many walks of life.
