Horton Park is a public park in Bradford, England, located to the west of the city in Great Horton. It was opened on 25 May 1878 on land purchased by Bradford Council in 1873. The park was designed by William Gay landscape gardener and surveyor. The park provides bowling greens, and a children's play area, as well as floral decorations. Bradford Council retain ownership of the park but, the park is primarily looked after by Glendale on contract. The bowling greens are open to the public from April to September each year. Vehicular access to the park is by permit only.

The place is full of rats, the bins are over full of rubbish and the rats have a party in them. Just like the people who come and have barbecues in the park. It's great fun. Saw these lads breaking in the shed a few weeks ago, the place needs cctv cameras

Nice place, lovely to walk round, comes with its problems like any other area, bits of vandalism here and there, but over all a lovely park.

Absolutely gorgeous park, with different paths to walk and explore. Lots of shade can be found near the trees. A fab playground with lots for the kids.

A generally clean park with quite a bit to entertain people. Playgrounds, duck pond, exercise equipment, basket ball hoops. A nice place to do a couple of laps as exercise. Still because of the area you will always get idiots, being loud/drunk/riding scooters/motorbikes. Not really the parks fault though. Plus you get to see the odd squirrel 👍

Its good for walking, it’s not a very clean park, the youngsters at this park have cigarets and swear. I did not really like this place and do not recommend it for family’s. I hope in future this park gets better if its given attention to. I am uploading some good pics of Horton park as it at good view just sone people have ruined this park.

Haven't been here for around here for at least 15 years. Place has changed a lot for the better. Plenty to do for the kids. Even exercise equipment, lol. Dogs absolutely love this place and don't wanna leave most times.

The Park is well Maintained. And well used by the public there is also a children's play area fenced for children's safety. The park looks beautiful a nice stroll in the park is refreshing witnessing Nature at its best it really does change your mood. You will leave the park hoping to return.

In itself a pleasant Victorian park but now often spoilt by those idiots on motorbikes and occasional vandalism. It used to be a lovely park that I would have given a 4.5 out of 5 score but now I give it a 3

Nice Park! Located on Hortons Grange road off Great Horton Road Bradford BD7. Your children will love every bit of their experience around this park. Situated on a vast expanse of land, there is more than enough space for children to have fun. I will share a video and some pictures to help you decide.

A nice wee park for kids to enjoy. Needs some updating and TLC but equipment in good working order. Did not see any toilet near by for kids and there was plenty of rubbish laying around.

Lovely picturesque park and a nice open space to enjoy. The 5k park run that is held here is well run and it's a fast course. There is a children's play area too
