Lovely to walk round the park, maybe grab a coffee. Work going on to improve the facilities at the playground too

This one of our favorite places for a dog walk. You can park close by and take advantage of the lower fields by the river to get some exercise with the pooch. There's a playground for the kids. There's a little cafe and a bowling green, and a formal garden. So something for everyone, and plenty of little spots to discover.

I visited Myrtle Park yesterday to partake in the weekly Parkrun as a visitor. The run was quite a challenge, but I managed to complete the course, which is what Parkrun is all about.

A nice place for the whole family, a little modest playground, an area like a park with something for everyone, a quiet spaxer, golf, cricket, and marching up the stairs.

I went to school here as a kid. There's a bridge that connects the allotments to the park and if you are sneaky you can climb off it into the island in the middle of the river. Thats where I had my first and last bucket bong, dont ever do that kids its really stupid

Went today for first time, and was pleasantly surprised. Really nice place to have a stroll, nice gardens and lovely views. Good wide paths to stroll along. Plenty of room for kids to run about, playgrounds to play in. Tearoom/cafe with a good choice of food and drink(after second visit today, questionable). Quite a lot of parking nearby, also not far from Bingley town centre. Would recommend visiting. We will go again for a stroll and drink. Unfortunately after today's second visit, we won't be visiting tea room again.

This park is a highly expansive one that has lush stretches of grass and trees, which are lovely to go around in the summer! There's also an aesthetically pleasing monument in the centre, surrounded by comfortable benches for many people throughout the park.

The park has recently been upgraded with some new play equipment. However, the roundabout in the bigger playground doesn't work. It would be good if they had more variety.

There's good parking up by the old town hall, almost always spare spaces there. The grounds are really well kept with a load of different flowers to look at and smell The bandstand is popular however in unsure if there's ever any bands on the band stand itself. It's safe to say I've never seen a band play on a bandstand in any park. Maybe they're a relic of our past. There are a number of bowling greens that I've seen used before but not often. There's also a bowling club although I'm not sure if they're still active. If they are, I'd love to become a member. There's a coffee shop that does hot drinks, iced creams, slushy drinks, smoothies and snacks. It's very popular. They may also do pizzas. I believe it's called Tarquins. The ice creams are great, there's flavoured ice creams and soft serve. There's two play parks, one is for infants and young children, the other is for a slightly older audience. There's also a skatepark and tennis courts The grounds themselves are quite expansive with lots of options for walking and playing Best thing is it's free! Even to park

Lovely area tucked away from the main road, would give it 5 stars but some of the bits in the kids park dont work how they should and it clearly needs a bit of maintenance. Bonus points for the skate park though.

Located in the heart of the town, where all parks should be! Well kept park and great to see the skate area being well used by the youth. The children's play area next to it is sparse with play equipment for various ages. There's random bits of fencing in the play area. The slide is just not useable by toddlers and it's a great effort to get to the top unless the child is about 6+ years and is a capable/confident climber.

Beautiful park with something for everyone. Ice cream and coffee shop

  • 5/5 Ross M. 1 year ago on Google
Greet park, always well maintained, a mixture of people of all ages. Only downside is the weedkiller spraying that can be very harmful to dogs, and there are many dogs on walks here.

  • 2/5 Tami L. 2 years ago on Google
Big kids smoke weed sat on the swings whilst babies and toddlers happily play around them and inhale the smoke. No one says anything, it's so common there.

Didn't use the cafe but one there, needs a little TLC but plenty to do tennis courts basketball small park for the little ones and then another area for bigger kids. Plenty of space good for a dog walk

A good local space in the heart of Bingley. Great for meeting with friends, having a walk around the large green space bordered by the River Aire. A great place to exercise a dog, bring children to enjoy the play facilities or join the local bowling club. A visit can be enhanced by a visit to Tarquin's Cafe for a wonderful cup of coffee and a slice of something special.

A beautiful place for a walk with the family! Not too busy, clean and all well kept. I love coming here and I'll be here as much as possible given the weather 😁👍🏻

Great place to go with the dogs as well as kids. Lovely views of the river and options for wooded walks out of the park too. Sloe berries are out in full force for any wild gatherers out there!
