A beautiful estate for walks and nature seekers. Well maintained, with a lovely cafe, large playground and pond full of wildlife. A good long 2+ hour walk can be had, following the walls around the whole estate. Our dog loves to run on the open field towards the top of the estate, a safe place with bins for mess at various gateways. The golf course looks great and well maintained. The Archery Club pondside also looks great. The place to be for horse lovers, with stables and riding available. There are some stunning views, one being from Druids Alter, just outside the walls, overlooking Bingley and Keighley.

Lovely place to go for a walk. There are different routes around the grounds and a decent play park for kids. We walked in the woodland, up past Lady Blantyre's Rock and back down via the public footpath between both sides of the golf course. Our walk was about four miles, but you could easily do a shorter walk here, or one that is slightly longer. It's Β£1 to park for up to two hours in the main carpark area and there's also toilets near the park. Would recommend a visit if you fancy a walk/ want a decent play park for the kids.

Seeing the displays of nature at this park was lovely, including logs, hedges and especially the wooden mushrooms that I found unique! There is a large pond further on, where the sight is beautiful and some animals add to the setting. It comes in handy that the park has toilets and the conditions were clean, though there was no soap for the proper process of washing hands.

The new equipment in the park is fantastic. Lovely area and well looked after. Only Β£1 for 2 hours parking and the cafe is very reasonably priced. Great place to take the kids.

Excellent kids play area , toilets are filthy . So minus a star the woodland has been stripped away for the most part healthy trees too . Minus one star also due to the lack of food source from what I could see a specific type of tree we saw lots of very under weight squirrels . We keep taking food this is supposed to be a nature reserve well heck last time I check nature reserves are to protect wildlife not destroy their homes -!: food supply minus one star

Great to spend a couple of hours. It’s a bit of an uphill walk from the bottom car park so Better to use one of the other ones, near the play area or golf course or the pond. Play area great for 8 to 13yrs but not so much for toddlers. Nice ivy kitchen cafe

Very dense and tiring walk, lots of habitat's. Clean, pet friendly and kids friendly walk. There is a golf course, kids play area and a small pond, you can feed the ducks, only seeds and corns. Highly recommended

Countryside grounds with plenty of walks and what seems like a number of different activities from Archery to horse riding. Has a decent pond with lots of birds. Would also recommend the cafe the ivy kitchen that is around the corner from Coppice pond.

We love it here a great place for dogs and children. The walks are beautiful. The nature reserve is great for a wander to feed the ducks and the play park is a hit with the kids

Quite calm place for a nice walk through the woods. This place has a lake near as well, and lots more to explore. If you go all th way down the roads, there is a park and play area for kids which is really nice.

Lovely place to walk your dog or just stroll. It is a great shame that so many beautiful trees had to be felled over the summer months due to disease. However more are to be planted. Great little cafe. We love it!

Nice little dog walking spot, this is a popular spot so not great if your dog isn't good with others. Takes around 10 minutes to walk around the coppice pond, so we walked up the hill, and it was a shame to see all the felled trees, but a nice walk none the less.

Would of been better if the pool/splash pad was full, it was open but there was no water. The kids really enjoyed the park... lots of variety for all ages

We absolutely love visiting St Ives, the kids ( 13yrs, 4yrs and 3yrs) had a ball, there is lots of equipment in the play area for the kids of all ages to explore, a choice of long and short walks around the estate, lots of wildlife around, lovely carvings in the woodland areas to spot. There are picnic areas, toilets and a little tea room. The only thing that let our visit down was the cost of the ice cream, the ice cream van was parked at the edge of the play area, so of course the kids want an ice cream, the prices were absolutely ridiculous which I refused to pay, we decided to call at McDonald's on the way home for a Mcflurry, so a great afternoon was had by all.

What a fantastic day out ,my first visit, but I will definitely be returning 😊. Went with my daughter and granddaughter, who's 7 years old ,so much to do, lovely walks through woods around the lake, with beautiful scenery and views. We had lunch in the cafe ,which had lots of choices πŸ˜‹ for all of us . The homemade cakes were delicious spoilt for choice. Also, the cafe was dog friendly and had treats for the dog. There are also plenty of picnic areas. The park play area has something for children of all ages .

Had a great afternoon out with the grandchildren who are 3 and 4. Had a walk first, ( many tracks to choose from ), then on to the much improved play area. They didnt want to leave but teatime was calling.

The kids loved the playground. We had a lovely little walk, would like to go back to do more distance next time.

Beautiful place to visit. Plenty to do, walk round the lake, walk through the paths in the trees. Children's playground is excellent for all ages. Have to pay now to park but I understand it helps towards the upkeep.

Great place of natural beauty to explore. Cafe was good as well. Downside, got stung for a parking ticket of Β£25. Apparently Pay & Display, although I didn't see any machines in the car park... πŸ™„ Was the ice cream van hiding them from view. Didn't see any signs either... was parked directly opposite the toilets in the playpark area. Beware!

Really lovely park got a lovely playground for little ones. Also great walks round or even bike paths. Nice pond with ducks and swans. We visited on a Sunday and it was great to see public toilets open. The other people visiting park was all very friendly and saying good morning as they walked past which I thought was lovely nobody seems to do that these days

Excellent surroundings with gardens and woodland walks, a play area for the children with ample parking and facilities. Also has a first rate 18 hole golf course with club and trainer.

Played the golf course in an away day from the very wonderful Royal Bradley Park Huddersfield. Excellent course that gives you chances to score well only to tear you a new one if you are careless or inaccurate. Decent food, splendid beer, nice folks. Well worth a visit

There's plenty of land to walk around with a variety of habitats and wildlife hides. But, it's not obvious where the coloured paths are around the site or where the wood carvings are, even with the map of the site. I've been here twice in the past month, getting lost both times and we've only seen one wood carving (the main purpose of our visit). Better signage on fence posts and walking guide leaflets would be beneficial.
