Bowling Park is a public urban park near Bolling Hall in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England about 1+1⁄2 miles (2.4 km) south south east from the city centre. The park is irregularly shaped with an area of 50 acres (20 ha) and is bounded by Bowling Hall Road, Burras Road, Bowling Memorial Cemetery, Parkside Road, Avenue Road, Bowling Park Allotments and Bowling Park Drive (formerly New Hey Road).

A great place for striding out or just for a short stroll. A nice large green open space, with the historic Bolling Hall just over the main road from the park itself. Also now home to some very interesting wood carvings.

Really lovely! The victorians knew how to design a park!! Well maintained, nice playground and bike track. There are tennis courts and a bowling green too. Walking trails are laid out for you such as the daily mile or the scenic route. The cafe is amazing!! Would be fabulous if there was a lido, with the rise of outdoor swimming and the known benefits it would be great to see the council provide some outdoor swimming facilities! I believe they do park runs on a Saturday. Lots of potential for the council to run other events here, great for a little forest school or kids club. Could run a netball club or a tennis club for example. Would be nice to see all the great facilities get used. An oasis in the city. Really glad to have this as my local park.

Great little find. Perfect for our motorhome stopover. Lovely field to park in. Waste and water available. Good, well kept beer. Food, pub grub. Presented well and tasted good.

Met a friend and had a lovely walk around the park with my dog. Then met 2 more friends at the Lodge for a cup of tea and a catch up.

We're local so it's nice and easy to get to. The paths are wide with good visibility for cyclists, and there are very few potholes in them. The children's play park has had an update since we've used it but I am delighted to say the zip line has been kept, and keeps being repaired! The pitches are kept mowed and looked after and the wooded area walkway has always been clear of debris (human and natural) whenever we've been. The path isn't great so not advised for those very unsteady on their feet, but it's a path in a small woods so can't be expected to be changed as it will ruin the area. Bowling Park can be filled with truants from Bradford Academy oftentimes, however, which does somewhat ruin a nice walk with the dog, or cycle with the kids, as you can feel unsafe as they're foul-mouthed and bolshy. Most if not all dog walkers clean up, which is great, but there is an area of trees downhill from the children's play park which is constantly littered with drug paraphernalia, cigarette papers and used condoms. It's foul for children and awful if your dog is the type to pick up everything. The bins are merely liners tied to the backs of benches. Possibly a reason for this other than simply not wanting to put bins in and blaming funding (or lack thereof) but they're nasty to use as you can't just pop something in without touching them, when they're burst they go all over, and they're very unsightly, not fitting in with the aesthetic of the park at all. Is easy to see why Lister Park wins awards in comparison.

This is a nice park. It is quite big and has different parts to walk and different activities for children such as the classic slide and swing as well as a mini 'race course' type of layout where children can ride their bikes etc. Good for brisk walks.

It's a nice walk , clean , has a playground , a small road built for kids with a roundabout so they can learn road safety when riding a bike. It has exercise equipment it's got like a nature walk that you can go on that has animals like a beaver rabbit squirrel butterflies carved out of wood that children can find on the Walk it's really nice big Park
