Be careful at this car park. False parking tickets are given out. I was parked within the bay and received a Β£100 fine. I appealed however this was rejected twice. Be careful as they will deny your appeal to make money out of people especially during the current economy. Disgusted. I hope this will help others. The so called security guards are also untrustworthy and can often be seen peering inside people’s cars. Luckily this was caught on dash cam. I contacted the store manager who was unsympathetic and downright rude and did not help overturn the parking notice despite evidence which suggested that the notice was unfair. Awful staff I do not recommend to anyone.

Loved the small independent shops and the excellent service they provide. A great shame it seems to be in decline and was very quiet.

Airedale Shopping Centre is a convenient and well-designed shopping destination that provides a wide variety of stores and services to meet the needs of local residents and visitors. The centre has a bright and airy atmosphere. One of the standout features of the centre is the diverse range of stores on offer. Whether you're looking for clothing, electronics, books, or groceries, you're sure to find what you're looking for here.

Lovely local shopping centre. However A LOT needs to be done. More stores added, Post Office needs to improve, the current location is embarrassing. It's a shame as I love our town and this centre doesn't do it justice

Always quiet but has a abundance of shops just missing a Primark but nothing else seems to last in Keighley so may as well give the public what they want . Lovely centre though. Always been a fave.

As a professional cleaner I know the toilets in there are not as clean as they could/should be in these times, ie it takes time for bacteria to build under rims of toilets & many are just having the lids, seats, wiped round as I returned the day after & the same shaped bacteria was in the same loo I prefer, not a nice thing to acknowledge, I take pride in many things I clean & have 15 yrs experience & good references from my clientele. Shops seem fine & well managed x

Wow I dont really have much nice to say about this anymore. Come back and there is barley any shops or facilities anymore. This really needs to improve. The place has so much potential and nice people around. But unfortunately for shopping experiences, its not so great now πŸ˜•

Must apologise, left my last review in error, found the centre nice and clean with plenty of choice for shopping, had an issue with multi storey parking but not Airedale centers fault.

It's a miserable 70s style shopping centre. Poor selection of cheap shops giving the overwhelming impression that the place is shoddy and run down. There are no nice retail outlets now and the ones that were here have left such as M&S, Beales etc. Not my idea of a pleasant shopping experience anymore. Will only visit when there are no other options or truely desperate.

Parking is absolutely ridiculous! You should be able to park in the parent parking spot if you clearly have a child without the threat of being fined! Instead of making it incredibly difficult for parents adding extra time to their day they most probably don't have!

Lots of empty units, the lighting was very dull, I wasn't inspired to shop. However the toilets were clean and tidy.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of shops left here. The toilets have a unpleasant smell which you will smell just by walking past. However, the centre has a little play room for the toddlers if you need a break.

I went shopping today and enjoyed it. I lost my parking ticket, but thanks to the lovely central management fella, I didn't have to pay for a whole day! I've given them an extra star because their customer service is excellent.

For me there is a varied choice of shops it is ideally situated near the bus station, and has a lot of competition from supermarkets for a small town. That said there must be problems with a leaky roof , which reminds me I must buy a yellow bucket.

Has gone downhill in the last few years with many shops closing Inc a decent open style cafe and Thornton's chicalates, still has a reasonable Costas, an independent cafe, a large pondland, Boots and a couple of card shops among otherers, this being Keighley it does attract the less desirable types particularly so round the bus station entrance, wouldn't make a special visit to get here but if you're in Keighley and fancy a bit of shopping it may be worth an hour or so

  • 4/5 Jane S. 8 months ago on Google
There is a good range of shops that are set undercover directly joined onto the bus station and multiply storey carpark. The centre is well looked after and access to the rest of the Keighley shops and market are situated very near.

It was before a small happy town centre but after covid it's a dead town. Burger King, pound bakery are closed. Still Airedale is better than many other town centres.

Has gone downhill in recent years with loss of shops like Marks and Spencer's and Beales. Centre decorated nice for christmas, so they are still trying, but a lot of empty shops. Same as every other town in the country I suppose.

A run down dump! The Airedale used to be the shopping center that served the Keighley townspeople, but definitely not anymore. It's empty near enough every day, and I even visited on black Friday, not to shop, but to go to the Christmas lights switch on, and it was a ghost town. It's a dated shopping center that looks even worse than Bradford's Kirkgate. At least there, you have more choice and variety on shops. Near enough all the shops in the Airedale are closed down entirely, so the shopping center always sports that run down dump look. Which is fair enough, because that's all it is. Take this place at face and review value, save yourself a trip and go to Leeds or Bradford's many shopping facilities. The Airedale used to be good, when all the shops were running and it was maintained but now it's just too past its sell by date to even bother! The only way I feel it could be improved is to either refurbish it and add new shops, or simply to knock it down and build independent stores rather than accumulating all these empty shells under one roof.

Emergency care ,what a joke ! I attended the department at 1158 pm with what appeared to be an urgent problem ,thereafter seen by nurse who assessed injury was not immediately life threatening! placed me in a que to see a Doctor. A notice flashed up on one of the internal monitors referring to fact that surgery was extremely busy at the time ( thus long wait) although over course of next 2 hours only 2 further persons attended! Anyway I was eventually seen at 6 am following morning ! Having to wait so long made me feel more anxious but I had little choice but to do so as there was no alternative . I could have left but that would have been no solution to problem. What it does unfortunately is that it highlights the need to seek private treatment at your own cost! The NHS will not fund this requirement however. What does one do in an emergency scenario ? phone 111 to outline your symptoms ( if you are able to manage a conversation )only to be advised that you need emergency treatment ,either attend AE at your nearest Hospital ( 10 miles away) or await an ambulance ( 1 hour + at best! if lucky ). Your only option in an emergency is to go through the process of turning up at A and E and hope for the best. This out of hours experience bodes well for any emergency treatment that I may require in future, inspires confidence in the ability of the NHS to provide care for a service we invest in. The only care I can rely on is one where I have to pay a consultant privately, as the best care is provided to anyone who is comfortable financially! For the rest of us we must rely on the NHS ?

There are loads of empty shops and more seem to leave. It's about time however is incharge in the centre need to reduce the rent and try and bring in some more brand name shops. The centre is always clean and tidy, just no shops to bring the people into the centre.

Needs help asap, I remember when it was thriving now it appears like it is dieing a slow death. And from what I hear experience rent for the traders. Many empty shops. A real shame it use to be the town's pride and joy.

It’s not bad for shopping. It’s got a Burger King (I’m not sure if it’s open currently) because I haven’t been for a while. I wouldn’t go for a full shop here. They should have more things here. Still a good shopping centre because it has a Greggs, etc.

Just cutting through the centre, very quiet. Plenty of places to sit. Poundland was fairly busy and was the only place I purchased anything. Update: a lot more shops have closed down -WH Smith's, Jack Fulton's, clothes shop etc.

  • 2/5 Kevin B. 2 years ago on Google
Seriously down market now, so many empty shops to rent, I spoke to one retailer in there and they said the rent etc was so high they were leaving too, come on councils, small businesses make a town interesting and prosperous empty shops mean less footfall, which means less profit and no revenue, this happened in the ghost town this Otley, all cafes and charity shops. Such a shame.

  • 3/5 david d. 1 year ago on Google

Grim & Lifeless. Maybe if they lowered the rent they'd get decent shops. It's currently mobile phone shops and cash for gold.

Keighley Town Centre is very run down these days. The big names like M&S have left, and the people who run / manage the Town just fill the empty space with anyone willing to pay. They don't seem to care about the towns image. Same thing goes for the number of people collecting for money, where are the Wardens, is there any Town Management.

A good range of shops and very helpful to have a Boots on site with a pharmacy. Parking is available for free within a 5 minute walk. Hopefully this shopping centre can survive in the current climate

Airedale shopping centre is a good place to shop. There are a wide range of different shops, with fewer empty shops then most centres these days. There are a few charity shops, Next, Poundland, a nice looking popular cafe , Boots, Shoe Zone, phone shops and others. There are clean toilets. It's a good place to visit.

This place has so much potential, sadly it lost its neighbours M&S, Beales and Burger King in recent years. It's great on rainy days, in a great location, plenty of ordinary and houses many essential shops. It is also across from Keighley Market which is a plus.

Been a local customer for many many years however the shopping centre now does look very sad and dull a lot of shops are taking their business elsewhere, loads of leaks and buckets everywhere but on the bright side i have seen a lot of new faces (security guards) i got chatting to one of them by the name of Sakab told me he is a new security guard and is his first day, He was very polite and even opened the baby change room for us he bought a smile to my face as not many guards love to interact with customers but he did he went above and beyond for us and even let me rant to him as i have some personal issues going on in my life and needed to talk to someone. He is a real Gem and can bring life to this centre please do give my thanks to him. I will return soon.
