Lovely wide open space. Didn't visit on market day but surrounded by shops. Covered seating area near the bus stop. Very clean.

Nice , eclectic mix of shops.lots of charity shops,but still worth a visit. Friendly folks. Walks around the Chevin also close to Otley. Loads of pubs & eating places ..

If you want a nice relaxed walk round, with a beautiful backdrop, then it's for you. All kinds of shops and the market is one of the better ones around. A pork pie from Middlemiss is a must.

I love Otley and especially when it's market day as the people of Otley are very friendly and helpful and extremely polite and I always manage to get a bargain at the Air Ambulance cafe .

Love Otley market, fruit & veg amazing - good quality and great prices. I've bought loads from here, including medjoul dates. Cheese stall is amazing and there's bound to be a queue, but we'll worth the wait. I bought 4 different cheeses on Fri, the lemon cheese being a favored the creamy Lancashire. Can recommend highly. Flower and plant stall fantastic plants and great value. I bought a lovely pink rose. Plenty of other shops around the market and lovely cafes to visit, with indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely little market town very busy not only in town but down by the river. If you go there are some wonderful places to eat and drink. There's lots of little hidden treasures in the streets and alleyways, well worth an afternoon out.

This market has a beautiful cheese shop, as well as other shops. It's a little expensive but it's worth it for local produce. The only downfall is the lack of shelter in the rain!

Lots of shops and cafes near the market place and seating for outdoor snacks. Parking and bus terminus nearby. A good place to buy books, jigsaws and pork pies!

Not a patch on how it was. The markets on Tuesday and Fridays are shadows of their former selves. It was possible to park there on none market days but has been pedestrianised, and I understand why, but now it looks 'unlived' in. A great empty space with just people passing through.

Good variety of fruit and veg. Also fresh bread and cakes but get there early or may have sold out of the most popular products Plenty of good cafes nearby and a couple of good butchers.

Excellent. Farmers market version is last Sunday of every month. Loads of unique stands. They all seem to take care too. Win

Lovely place. We went on a Sunday so not all shops opened. Plenty of little shops. Plus a few good charity shops. Coffee shops, food and bargain shops. Plenty of pubs. And lovely little side streets to browse and buy. Not far from a river walk. A d up the hill to the Otley Chevin Park, woods etc

Although a nice spot in Otley it does seem a shame that the council do not do more with it. When there is not a market it would be nice to have more tables and chairs available. Greggs have a very nice shop but if they put tables and chairs outside people could stop for longer rather than just walking off. We went to the Leeds Coffee house and although it looks nice from the outside and the owner has spent money on the decor we found the coffee and cake disappointing. Perhaps a menu on tables would be an idea as well as improvement in coffee and cake taste along with waiter with an apron would be nice. These are only suggestions and hope you will accept them as constructive.

The market used to be really big with plenty of variety, now only a few stalls and all concentrated in one small area. Nothing to write home about, just a normal small market But it is in a lovely location, plenty of history all around. Take the time to look up. Normal shops surround the market place. Nearby carpark is not expensive and the bus station is only a 5 minute walk away.

Its a lovely very old fashioned cobbled stone area. Very old. The market is held there Otley is a market town with a lot of history. Best of all though,directly across from the market is Weegmans splendid and multi award winning delicatessen. Warm freshly cooked pies,roast pork,sandwiches. Fresh uncooked award winning burgers. A travel destination just on it's own

I have not been to Otley for many years. Nice place to visit, but l was missing benches at the market place. Every town has them, so, l was surprised that they had only one (they had some more simple ones under the roof, but too much shade in there).

A nice old town to visit, the market was on the day we visited here for the first time. Various stalls including bedding and local produce. It's worth a visit, parking is available.

I lovely small little market selling variety of different things. Otley has a lot of small, independent shops definitely worth popping into .

Shopped with Joan & Russell at the fish van. Great couple sell the best quality fresh fish you can buy. Please shop with them

The stalls that really stand out the most is the little elderly lady selling home made jewelry. She is very well priced and good quality. Other stalls contain fruit and veg X2, picture frame stall, French style cake stall and some other bric a brac stalls. Small market but good all round.

Great area not much of a market but 2 shops down from the black bull, butchers and veg shop well worth the trip

If you want a village feel go here....and you can park...... fish and chips the best.

Great market. Brilliant stall holders. Forget the supermarket for your fruit and veg.

Great day spent in this little market town lots for the Mrs to try and spend my money on will go again but by bus as there are some great pubs that need to be explored in detail

Unfortunately like most small towns otley has lost some very good shop's.But saying that there's still a good reason for going to otley that's a very good market.plus plenty of places to eat and drink.and a lovely little park down by the river. Enjoy.

Love Otley. This pub has meals at £6 Tues -Fri. We got fish and chips from the fish shop where we'd parked the car and I actually bought golden crispy whitebait which was delicious for the first time from a fish shop, it was delicious, 20 pieces for £3-50.

This place is really cool, a quality antique shop that at times is a little on the pricey side but you will definitely find something your like

Otley is lovely for a wander round it is very historic with lots of little cobbled alleys. The market was also nice with a range of stalls.

Great little market, most items of food are available, also plenty of sundry goods, my own personal view is if you don't use it you will loose it , and you will be left with supermarkets only, and don't think any of us want that, we need to have a choice, please don't let the supermarkets take total control.
