Nice size shopping center with limited shops, not what it used to be as it is full of charity shops, food shops and bargin shops. Not somewhere you can spend a full day out but somewhere you can go to get essentials. There is a few good cafes so sit in to get a drink and some food. If one is busy there will be space in one of the others. There is lots of bars on the outside of the shopping center if you prefer somthing a little different to a cafe. There is also a large carpark but it does charge for all use. The center used to offer a free 15 minutes but it no longer does and I think this is a shame as sometimes you are only popping in for a few things and there isn't any local free parking unless you park 10 minutes walking distance away from the center

Pretty good. Can get most things from a variety of shops, plus cafes and public toilets. Big car park, reasonably priced. Recommended.

Changed a lot since l was last visited but got lots of shops to look in and places to sit and have a coffee etc. Was there to pick up an on line parcel in Bonmarche. Will definitely visit again.

As a recent wheelchair user I visited the centre to do some shopping but slso to get some practice with the chair. The vast majority of shops have level access and wide entrances. The centre has a tiled floor which is easy to move the chair. While most if the centre is level thee is an incline towards Austhorpe Road entrance though not steep. A very accessible centre with even more shops om rhe outside. Lovely and tasteful Xmas decorations.

Gone downhill. The petty management have banned the cat which brought people alot of happiness from here due to a few joyless saddos complaining. They have no issue allowing sales people in pop up stalls and "charity" reps to harass and badger patrons though. This is probably because they get a fee for this.

Been coming here for many years.... been a lot of changes apart from the mirrored ceiling which always reminds me of my childhood :) can’t fault the shops or the staff. The cleaners are always busy doing a fab job aswell 👍🏻

It's okay, shops are going down hill and slowly being replaced by bargain shops or hair salons. The roofing is in need of repairs as during the winter it leaks quite badly in various places. Good selection of cafes and some brand name shops. A butchers has recently opened up inside and it absolutely stinks the place out. I feel sorry for the shops directly next to it such as card factory as when you enter these shops all you can smell is raw meat. It has to be losing them customers it's that bad sometimes. Large car park around it that charges starting at £1.20 for the first hour or so. Be careful of entering the car park and leaving straight away as the system expects you to pay just for taking a ticket. There's limited free parking on the streets outside but this is slowly becoming residential parking.

Happy with cleanliness/space in Centre. Staff looking after toilets helpful/ friendly. Sadly, sparse with shops now that so many(5/6) units empty! Needs larger toilet area, general ones too tight, trapped a finger between door and toilet roll holder, when shutting door! Toilet area difficult to use especially when you have a baby/child in pushchair.

some good shops , hairdressers , butchers , newsagents ladies clothing disability shop etcetera a little drab since Wilkinsons closed , plenty of cafes , too many kids running about , pay to park but not much .

Gone downhill..units closing.nothing in there, tatty shops, coffee shops, some ok, some rubbish..Over 50 years old this centre, in its heyday, it was great. I'm 59, I remember it's heyday.Past it's sell by date..Looking tired.Demolish it, we got the springs now, far better..Sorry the X G centre has had its day in the sun.Flavours coffee shop is ok,but its set in a location that's falling apart around it...

Lovely little shopping centre with cafes, clothes shops, etc. A shame Wilkinson's will be gone. We will have to wait and see what eventually takes their place. We could do with a decent shoe shop now Shoezone have moved out.

OK for somewhere to hide from the rain. Lot of shops but apparently its expensive to rent so firms often close and others open for a while. Has cafes and some decent shops but the main moan seems to be you pay to park £1 20 pH then plus

Visited Lake Victoria parking was free after 6pm fairly easy to find. Can't rate food as didn't eat there, but drinks weren't too expensive . The Decor needs updating, the live music was good people were friendly too.

Cross Gates shopping centre in Leeds is a great place to shop and enjoy a range of amenities. The centre features a variety of shops, from well-known retailers like WHSmith and New Look, to independent stores offering unique items. One of the things that stands out to me about Cross Gates is the selection of food options available. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and fast food outlets to choose from, as well as a market offering fresh produce and other items. The centre is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking available. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience that much more enjoyable. In addition to shopping, Overall, I would highly recommend Cross Gates shopping centre to anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience. With a great selection of shops and amenities, it's a great place to spend some time and find what you need.

It's OK, a lot of hairdressers, coffee shops and charity shops. Having a good butchers is a welcome addition, could do with a couple more little independent shops

Great shopping centre, just a shame parking is extortionate. Puts me off going here when only needing to nip in for something.

  • 1/5 Tabán K. 10 months ago on Google
Be careful if you need a receipt for your parking. None of the machines could print one and the customer care is basically non existent (they only say they cannot do anything)q

Decent mall with a lot of things for your everyday needs. Will definitely come again now that I know what shops are here. Just wish it was open later.

Full of coffee shops and discount shops. No proper shops like back in the day and now you have to pay £1.20 for the privilege of using your banks ATM when you're in there on average 7 minutes. Pull it down its a waste of space.

A clean place serving local community. Worth a visit... there seems to be an overly populated number barbers in the local area around the shopping centre.. spoilt for choice!

Indoor shopping centre with plenty of standard high steeet shops like Wilko, Savers, Specsavers and Holland and Barrett. It has a few cafés and coffee shops and many other shops located on its outside perimeter and nearby. There is one paid-for car park but, otherwise, a real pain to park close to due to many parking restrictions for residential housing.

A nice little mall with bargain shops, a cafe and some clothes shops as well as a delightfully mad homewares shop with plastic animal heads, shelving that looks like a taxi and Tin man models. Really random stuff

You can find so many things and the food and drink in the cafe's is delicious, i go there to cut my hair every few months too; i would advise going to Rui's Hairdressers, the staff are really kind and my hair always turns out gorgeous!!! But some places close quite early which is quite unfortunate, if the whole shopping center closes at the same time it would be much better.

Great place for all the essentials and more. Easy parking at £1.20 is amicable for a couple of hours shopping needs.

I would rather shop at Crossgates than Leeds, It has everything under one roof and parking is £1.20 for 2 hours and there is plenty of space.

Crossgates Shopping Centre is a nice little centre with a number of coffee shops, some familiar stores, and friendly staff. I would have given a 5-star rating, but the selection of shops is a little limited. That being said, the centre itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. I just wish they'd bring back the music!

I enjoy visiting the shopping centre cause there's a variety of shops, when I'm having a slow day I can get all I need in one day breakfast, slow shopping, lunch then home with all I need for the week or month, well worth the day out shopping.

Used to be THE place to go, a variety of shops, cafes etc.... Now unfortunately it's coffee shops, phone shops and charity shops, with a LOT of empty shops. Needs money and investment to make it great again. The shops that are there such as Iceland, Wilko, Peacocks, Bon Marche are great just needs mire variety.

  • 4/5 Tracey B. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of different shops in there, Sweetmania i like as does a variety of sweets. A good range of sugar free sweets too. Worth a visit for anyone.

very good shopping centre love to go here for shopping and for spending time alone but I wish there was a Union Jack outside so it can make it look a bit more inviting.

It's been some time since I've been here so I was pleasantly surprised to see that although some businesses had gone they had been replaced by others. The overall feeling was that it was thriving. Two well established cafés served a variety of hot and cold food . A Gregg's was also very busy. There was an excellent variety of shops.. mobility, cobblers, supermarket ,pound shop etc. Add to that good easy cheap parking and it is obvious why this shopping centre is going from strength to strength .

Great local shopping centre wonderful butchers that also sell fresh vegetables and eggs. Great family run clothes shop and outside great little bistro

  • 3/5 Miss K. 1 year ago on Google
It's like a small town centre. The main thing I observed was the community spirit and the second was the overpricing, especially in the cafes and butchers. They were charging £1.80 for broccoli. Cost of living or not, that's extortionate and one of the overpriced cafe's literally serves a greasy spoon menu but with artisan prices

Love the Arndale. I had my hair highlighted and cut in RUI hair salon by a lady called Helen. It is a gorgeous colour and lovely cut done at a very competitive price. Helen and Claire were really welcoming and clearly know their trade, I will return.

Decorations for Christmas are a bit sparce this year. Indoor shopping very welcome in this cold spell. Good for buying toiletries, paint, hardware, could do with a supermarket. Miss Tesco n M&S. Coffee shops and barbers in abundance.
