An amazing looking set of buildings, full of character and detail. You can walk through the street while staying undercover, looking up at the glass roof, and marvelling at the architecture. It's just a shame the shops here are of brands very few will shop in, as they're all expensive styles of clothes, watches and shoes. At least you can enjoy the space more.

My first visit to these grand shopping arcades and it felt like stepping back in time! Wonderful Victorian architecture with ornate carvings and mosaics, beautiful stained glass ceiling, mahogany shopfronts and lots of greenery. The arcades were very clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The shops are stylish and upmarket and include Harvey Nichols, Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood and many smaller boutiques selling high-end ladies and gents fashion, shoes, leather goods, jewellery and perfumes. The leather seating is comfy and there are some nice cafes to choose from. Enjoyed listening to the piano player too. Just across the road is the other half of Victoria Leeds, the much more modern but just as luxurious Victoria Gate with a big John Lewis store at its centre. On the whole I found the shops very expensive but it was a pleasure just to browse, window shop and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere!

I love The Victoria Quarter. It's beautiful and well looked after. If you have never been, you are missing out. The Rabbit Hole Cafe will serve you an excellent coffee and The Ivy will feed you in luxurious surroundings and with impeccable service. You can then shop til you drop at the fantastic array of upmarket shops. Love it.

According to the blurb, the 'Victoria Quarter' is 'the Knightsbridge of the North'.....which sounds pretty impressive but assumes you have been to knightsbridge. Personally, I would forget comparisions or boasts about 'premium' shopping, just go and gaze at the fantastic architecture. Built around the 1900's it is an amazing example of overblown baroque victoriana........everthing is so over the top in a heavy cast iron & marble sort of way. I did find it a bit awe inspiring....and that's before checking the prices. We were there on a damp Tuesday and as it was quiet it had a cathedral feel about it. And don't just look up. The mosaic floor impress...actually even the drain coves are a work of art. The shopping is superb but the real stars are the buildings. Each of the Arcades is different and it is well worth checking them all. As per usual we did not have a huge amount of time and many of the surrounding buildings are very interesting. There is parking right in the centre of the city but we used the park and ride from Ellen Rd, very reasonable (just pay for the bus) and swift.....and helpful staff too. The whole area is pretty accessible but some of the walkway are narrow and I bet it gets crowded at peak times. The whole area is a credit to those who bult them and to those who restored them after they fell into disrepair. Brilliant...and I don't even like shopping!

I love to visit some of my favourite shops at Victoria Quarter Shopping Centre, such as Vivienne Westwood, Coach, Kheils, and Harvey Nichols. The aroma of Creed Aventus hits you as you walk into the shopping centre 🛍 Classy feel.

Good shopping arcade featuring some up market stores such as Molton brown, Harvey nickels, Kurt geiger. It has a very pleasant cafe in the middle and the Ivy at one end.

This place is magically lit up for Christmas. You get a real sense of festive feelings. There are an array of designer brand shops, from Louis Vuitton to Kate spade. The shops are all enclosed in the centre. It’s not far from Harvey Nichols. There is something for everyone’s taste. Great shops. Highly recommend this centre.

One of my favourite places to visit in Leeds. It has a nice variety of shops and also a couple of places that you can stop in for a coffee or something to eat. It is always immaculate and the design of it is fantastic.

Victoria Quarter is one half of Victoria Leeds; a beautiful shopping district recognised as the premium shopping area in the North of England. Victoria Quarter was originally designed by architect Frank Matcham. He used rich marbles, gilded mosaics, handsome cast and wrought iron, as well as carved and polished mahogany, to create two streets, two arcades and the Empire Theatre (now Harvey Nichols). Today Matcham’s work has been sympathetically restored to its original splendour, introducing the style and creativity of the present. Victoria Quarter brings together brands such as Ted Baker, Vivienne Westwood, Coach, Loake, French Connection, Space NK, Hobbs and Jigsaw, as well as being home to the first Harvey Nichols store outside London. Victoria Quarter forms part of Victoria Leeds, which brings together Victoria Quarter and Victoria Gate to deliver the most vibrant new shopping scene and destination in Leeds city centre. Victoria Leeds is situated at the heart of the Leeds shopping area, with a 800+ space car park, close to both bus and railway stations and taxi ranks. The Grade II* listed Victoria Quarter, known as 'the Knightsbridge of the North',[3] is an upmarket network of interconnected shopping spaces covering three blocks between Briggate and Vicar Lane, comprising County Arcade, Cross Arcade, Queen Victoria Street (turned into an arcade in the 1989 redevelopment scheme through the pedestrianisation and glazing over of the street[4] with what was at the time the largest secular stained glass work in the world)[5] and King Edward Street. A lot of unique history and spectacular art work right next to you available on display, from the walls, floors and cielings. A most to see and to explore when you are in Leeds. 👍💖

It's nice to walk through with my daughter and have a cup of tea there every once in a while. But it caters mostly for premtious rich people whom may have more spondoolies than sense. It's out of touch and has nothing in common for mere mortals such as I. Beautiful but altogether irrelevant.

One of my favourite shopping areas in the country. A gorgeous, traditional shopping centre with high end and boutique stores, where the architecture is as much a part of the shopping experience than any thing else. If you are in Leeds, this is a must visit

Nice place to walk through when out in town. Has some nice shops and places to eat. Although one of the shop that sells food has some of it produce out on show in the arcade with people walking past. Which I think the food should have covers over them for hygiene reasons.

Awesome absolutely beautiful. Like that place for architecture and interior with boutiques which just right in a plase. And there everything in those little shops. You can find exclusive bags boutique or some Chinese vases. Hand made blazers or full suit or soap. ) not bad compare.... by the price. Everything inside shinning same about atmosphere inside. Cafe's, fountains.... and amazing Xmas trees every year.👍 Some times I'm felling like back in Victoria times...
