Superb retail shopping experience housed within a former Lancashire textile mill. High quality home furnishings, contemporary & art deco works of art, garden centre, quality furniture, 3 cafes, numerous fashion outlets, The Works books & stationary, cheese & meat deli, cotton industry history museum with preserved machinary & artifacts, Accrington Pals WW1 tribute displays, Ostwaldtwistle history & local heritage exhibits, huge free car park - this place has it all, what more could anyone want! Well worth a good afternoon or day out, catering for almost everyone's tastes of all ages. Very impressed with everything and we highly recommend to visit!

Went to the Santa lunch and had an amazing time. Santa was fantastic and so realistic. The elf young lad was just wonderful he tried so hard absolutely fantastic. The cakes were lovely and the atmosphere and decorations were great. My only gripe was there was no options for the sandwiches for adults. A plain option for those unable to have some of the fillings would have been great. However I ate cakes so it was all OK! Wonderful experience

We do like a visit to this Mill... We love a coffee and something to eat in the first cafe close to the garden centre and then we start our little tour There's a furniture area selling beautiful things for your home, clothes from different companies, a Pavers shoe shop, kitchen ware, gifts and much more There are 2 other cafes inside as well so lots of choice It has changed a little over the years but it's still a nice place to come and have a browse, we always come away with something

It seems a little over rated. The actual mill where the shoes and clothes are, aimed at veterans and retired peoples day out. Nothing wrong with this idea however the quality of clothing, shoes, linen, and other items seems really low quality and well overpriced for what it is. Couldn't help but think the older generation are not getting a bargain here and doesn't seem fair as it is branded as you can get amazing bargains. Not the case. The food halls are old fashioned not one of them offering Vegan options... Very out of date. The best part is the furniture as it is unusual and very good looking. I would have given the furniture side 4 stars minimum, however as it is connected to the rest of the place this is not possible. I guees the outside pond is nice but again nothing to rave about. The mill has a very old history worth learning about.

Yet again they are moving departments. Food bit stuck next to Yankee candles. Whoever thought that was a good idea. Its definitely biased towards females as womens clothes and shoes are about 99% of the clothing stock. I am glad they have a garden centre and cafe otherwise I should have stayed at home.

I can honestly say I’m not going to go back to this place which is a shame because I love it. Me and my friend (who dresses very unconventionally and I do think this is why we were treated like this) were treated awfully by a member of staff (an older woman with black hair) who looked at us horribly and spoke very rudely to us. Whilst purchasing some Christmas decorations she questioned every single thing I said after she had asked the question and gave us some glares for wanting to pay part cash and made me explain why. She insisted I explain why and I had to announce that I didn’t have enough money on my card for the whole thing so wanted to pay part cash, she generally made us feel horrible. We were looking forward to a little festive trip out and we instantly just left because of how awful she made us feel, Merry Christmas to us!

Very good mix of shops. With a good atmosphere. Sufficient parking scattered about. At least two cafes inside and one in the garden centre bit .

An absolute amazing experience , took our 3 year old Nova on Sunday, she was scared of Father Christmas, we were hoping she would still go in to meet him . Arrived & was greeted by the fantastic elf’s , cookie making , helped by Bob the elf , reindeer making , tiny t shirt making, Bob was amazing , he could see she was getting fed up , sat with her , helping with her drawing . Father Christmas time, she wasn’t impressed, but again the elf’s and Father Christmas helped out , to bring Nova a magical experience . Present was fabulous. Overall a brilliant experience. Well done .Highly recommended . Great value for money ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great little place with a variety of things to see. Nice little place to shop and the cafe on site is second to none. They have a deli, cafe, garden centre, the works shop and much more! Nice way to spend a few hours shopping.

Lots of different areas to peruse. Particularly loved the plants. Some items are quite expensive even when in the sale but lots of different styles to choose from in the clothes section.

Excellent mill store. Vastly improved in the last few years, upgrading there furniture section and expanding there overall stock range. Plenty of eating options available. Only slight problem is the quality of the car park areas..too many potholes. Overall a good visit too an extensive stock range Mill store.

Heard of this place years ago but it took a Caledonian Travel break to get me there. Large mill building retail outlet with a small garden centre attached. Three (I think) cafes. Usual range of shoes/clothing/soft furnishings/tat etc. Concession outlets like Edinburgh Wool Shop. Can't say anything bad about it but it's nothing special and just like dozens of similar outlets. One unique thing is the area set aside for local history, which is very interesting for men marooned here for two hours waiting for other halves to finish trying on unsuitable clothes that they'll never actually wear.

Large mill, the tearoom cafe is lovely, the staff friendly, didn't visit the other 2 cafes on site so can't comment.some prices are a bit steep, the christmas Dec's area doesn't seem as large as last year but still alot of beautiful items to choose from.

Visited here after a long absence and I have to say I wasn't over impressed. The shelves were empty in quite a few areas, the tills were not shopper friendly as only 2 open and long queues. I used the self service till and then couldn't leave as my receipt wouldn't activate the exit gate and the member of staff was not the most helpful and seemed to be quite exasperated with customers who were having issues with the tills/gate. I think also the cafe no longer being there is a detriment to the store. I will only shop here if I have to

Hi Folks. Ossy Mills has changed since I was here before the Lockdown. For the better that is. They have loads of nice furniture of all different periods. Contempery, Art Deco, Retro. They have moved everything around. It was a little strange at first finding my way around, but makes sense. They have a good selection of Xmas decorations and plenty of lights. The only downfall was the Butchers has closed. You know the one which sells the Slim Fast burgers, sausages and meat balls (ugh). What a shame!!

Easy parking lots of choice however it's not the cheapest to be fair. One thing I will recommend is the cafe/restaurant, only a snack for me sausage Sarny good quality bread and sausage. Coffee was fabulous too only a latte but really tasty. My friends good equally very good. Overall highly recommended.

Plenty of choice, there's one thing you won't get (hungry) 3 cafe's, very relaxing ambience about the place, some stuff over priced but then you find some bargains in the next room plenty off choice in the gardening section at reasonable prices.

Called in 'en spec'. Was a rainy afternoon and was driving by. Pleasantly surprised by the sprawling array of homewear, clothing, food and coffee outlets, garden centre, books, games, ornaments and much much more. Bagged myself a fab Regatta jacket in the sale for £34 - bargain. Will definitely pay another visit.

Ozzy Mills has some nice displays at Christmas but I can't help but think this place has lost a bit of the magic it had when I was a kid. Where is the giant pear drop? It no longer hosts the independent arts and crafts suppliers which was one of the main attractions for me. It's still clearly a great tourist spot; particularly loved by an ageing customer group. You can see coaches dropping groups of the blue rinse brigade off. Great parking facilities and easily reachable by public transport too.

Nice garden centre with many small franchises inside (gifts, clothing, flowers, books, pet food, furniture etc). Not really one for plant (although there is a small section near the entrance). Car park with limited spaces. Two good cafés inside.

Not been for a while, what a change. Really good selection in keeping with a good department store.

This place sure has improved a lot since my last visit over 10 years ago. It still has the wonky floors, but the layout is much better and the staff are friendly. We didn't end up buying anything as most of the stuff on sale is expensive and you can get it direct or online much cheaper! We decided not to eat at the cafe because the prices were very expensive!! £6.50 for a jacket potato?Didn't even want to check how much their scones were!! but they were HUGE and looked delish :)

Haven't been for a while. Nice to see everywhere full again. Busy but not too packed. Toilets were impeccably clean. Access for wheelchair user fine.

  • 4/5 Paula 1 year ago on Google
Plenty of clothing/shoes/household/gifts/garden items/furniture/books/butchers/sweet shop etc to browse. Toilets and a couple of cafes. Not a great deal of parking spaces - can get very busy at times so it can be a struggle to find somewhere.

Although I only gave it 4 stars, I love wandering around the various departments. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? I cannot put my finger on the reason, but I felt there was something missing. People, DON'T let that put you off visiting.

Overall experience initially was great, however, upon waiting 18 weeks for our furniture to be delivered we received a damaged dining table, a sofa that stinks! and a storage cabinet that was missing all of the fixings, delivery drivers were amazing, super helpful and were the highlight of the experience. I will always buy local if I can but this is just a great reminder that local isn't always best in some cases.

Like this place. Cafe is great. We used the one in the garden centre. Lovely and clean and effecient, friendly staff. We would have liked to see more craft supplies such as knitting yarn and fabrics but overall we had a good day out.

Great big store. Has everything you need. Clothing, furniture, gardening, xmas, cafes, books, ornaments and lots more. Bought a few items and then went to the Pavilion cafe for a cuppa and a cake. It was very reasonable and the strawberry slice was to die for. Could have stayed all day if I had more time.
