A nice shopping centre but be aware that parking is free for four hours only. You will get a fine if you go over this time. My mother and I shopped and also had a meal here. We spent over four hours looking, shopping and eating in the centre. A week later i received a fine through the post. I contested the fine and sent off all my receipts including the meal receipt but they upheld the fine. I must say it's put off being a regular visitor which is such a shame.

It's placed in beautiful valley and amazing surrounding area. Not many clothing chains. It's not family friendly everywhere cars wondering not safe for children. There are hardly couple of public benches to sit. I saw elder people struggling to find some place to sit.

It's my first visit to this place and I was pleasantly surprised! Plenty of shops, eateries and food-type shops. I'd like to see a wider range of clothes shops however. Overall though, a great experience and spent a few hours there. I'd definitely recommend trying Bridge Bakery!!

I was aware of my low blood sugar, didn't fancy my emergency packet of fig rolls and so I detoured to this retail park. I noticed an Aldi, made for it, parked and bought a couple of sandwiches which I enjoyed in my car before continuing my journey. I plan to further check it out next time I'm close by.

A surprisingly nice place for shopping. I've just discovered it and will definitely be going there more often rather to Sheffield City Centre. Plenty of parking but parking bays are somewhat small... What makes parking a bit difficult for estate or generally bigger cars. A few places, including an outside water fountain, for kids to play in. I'd only say that be careful and look after kids as busy car park is just next to the shops and restaurants. It's a relatively small shopping centre but definitely worth visiting.

A great Centre for Stocksbridge; good shopping outlets; in summer it's lovely to sit outside & see small children enjoying the fountains; nice restaurants- when we are allowed to use them!! Takeaway service good meanwhile.

Well kept and clean. Not too busy probably due to coving but still well used. Staff are pleasant and helpful in the various shops and the shoppers are mainly respectful of the social distancing and the wearing of masks. Nice place to visit and shop.

This retail park is very handy for locals saving them the time and effort of travelling further afield to Sheffield city centre or Meadowhall. The compromise is a much smaller selection of retail outlets but the mix here looks OK. Greggs, Iceland, Next, Home Bargains and with a large Co-Op just a half mile down the road Stocksbridge and Deepcar residents are very well catered for on their doorstep. Looks as though it could get very congested with the tiny roundabout adjacent to parking area all very close together.

For a small retail park, Fox Valley has a good mix of shops; from essentials such as Boots to upmarket shops like JoJo Maman Bebe and the Sandersons department store. It has one of only 5 Trek bike stores in the country and an Aldi, Greggs, Costa Coffee, Sports Direct and Quality Save, to name but a few, to cover all of the bases.

What was once a well looked after place, is now going to ruin. Behind the stores lies all their rubbish. Left to over flow and go everywhere, pure laziness from their Sandersons department store! Fur coat no knickers springs to mind!!! Food places out the back have workers smoking in chef whites! I can’t imagine what we don’t see! Water fountain for humans and dogs, absolutely filthy with no running water. They are quite happy to take your money for over priced items and parking if you want to stay a day, yet spend none of it on the up keep of the place. Mark Dransfield pull your finger out!!!!

I was a passing visitor and needed to grab a bite to eat and do a top up of groceries. A lot of outdoor type shops, a lounge bar at the end near the roundabout playing annoyingly loud music A local lady commented on how quiet the shopping area seemed in comparison to usual.

The layout is really attractive reminds me of a West Yorkshire mill town. There is plenty of parking and nice places to have a coffee and a bite to eat. I Just wish there were more independent shops.

Would be better with good access, but check Google maps, always congested at weekends at the entry roundabout as there is only one way in / out , with foot traffic wandering into roads without looking, also you must contend with the inept performers reversing out of bays and have assumptions nobody behind them (or they are so special they expect a Moses moment, and you are the Red Sea that parts for them). Sadly also infested with adults who are incapable of any form of supervision responsibility for their spawn. Shops are great, just some shoppers need avoiding.

I enjoy shopping in Fox Valley with the surrounding hillside. My only gripe is.. There isn't enough pedestrian area. It's mainly a huge car park. Not being able to drive, I find this quite annoying. Also it would be nice to have some more seating for us poor souls who don't have the luxury of a car.

I work in one of the offices at fox valley, It is such a lovely spot, The cleaners and security are so friendly and helpful, Claire is also fabulous at sending updates. Always plenty of parking spaces and in winter the road is well cleared and gritted. Lovely place. Love working here.

I couldn't believe the size of this place and how many shops there are on this development in such a small town! Very impressive. Costa and Zorro's Lounge are excellent for your food and drink requirements. Also the shops are quite large too, not mini versions. Excellent public toilets available too. Massive car park too making the whole experience so enjoyable and convenient. Highly recommended for regular visiting!

Not much wrong with place just not a great deal there to make it a special trip as you might for Meadowhall. Fine for bits and bobs or an Aldi/Iceland shop. Floor fountain for hot days to soak the kids. The Friday Market is kind of lame to be honest. I hope they expand it one day. Lot of parking. Don't park longer than 4 hours (not sure you could) or you'll get a fine apparently from reading other reviewers but I didn't spot any signs telling me so (sneaky) Nicer looking than Parkgate but PG had a little more for everyone.

It's ok if you live at that end of Sheffield,we went for a run out (before us Brits did our favourite pastime, panic buying, fuel eg,£5 & £10 and leaving it on the drive all week) but we were a bit disappointed as 95% of retailers are everywhere,oh well we had a great chat with another couple about our age perhaps a little younger about our beloved Sheff Utd,then a Costa coffee then on to somewhere else.

Really ike Fox Valley shopping complex, some of the bigger shops such as Home Bargins, Boots and Mountain Warehouse, plus lot's of independent traders. There are a number of different markets held throughout the month, but better to checkout the Fox Valley website for days.

Interesting not Happy with the Costa Coffee in the big shop. Poor sandwich display and the lady serving was frustrated having to sell our cake in paper with paper cups. Trying to explain we didn't see the small notice. The coffee just didn't taste the same.

  • 4/5 Trevor 2 years ago on Google
Well set out and clean but lacking in signs for toilet facilities, plus car parking is a bit haphazard as it's all 2 way. Shops are good if not a huge variety. Worth a visit !

Lovely little shopping centre! Went he for the first time and was shocked as I had passed this place so many times! Plenty of free parking, good selection of shops, set a beautiful location that helps pass time if your looking for a quick shop around, a few places to grab a bite to eat, with defiantly return here in the near future :)

  • 4/5 Rob F. 2 years ago on Google
A useful shopping centre with some good shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking but always seems to be busy when we go. Lots of outdoorsy shops but a bit limited otherwise. Went to Ponti’s for a meal which was very nice.

  • 1/5 Michaela J. 2 years ago on Google
What a disappointment. I stayed away from Fix Valley fit a few years after receiving a parking fine after visiting with my elderly mum. However, I recently visited again only to discover that with one or two exceptions, most of the original shops have now been reached by outdoor activity shops. There were no clothing shops to speak of. Won't be visiting again

  • 3/5 Ron M. 2 years ago on Google
I've downgraded my rating from four stars to three because stores are closing and unfortunately not enough big names are being attracted here for whatever reason. It's a shame because there's loads of car parking spaces. This needs to be addressed otherwise I can see other stores departing.

  • 5/5 Dawn W. 2 years ago on Google
This is a lovely shopping complex plenty of shops from usual home bargains pound land Holland and Barratt trespass sports direct pets at home mountain warehouse to different unusual shops. There are a few eating places and they have an occasional market. Ample parking and access available from Deepcar and Stocksbridge bypass. A quaint little shopping complex, which has outdoor space with water features in summer. Great for dogs and children to visit. One cafe is dog friendly for those visiting with furry friends.

  • 5/5 xplanet2112 1 year ago on Google
It’s really surprising good there, unless you live in the area the only way you’ll come across this place is if you notice the signs for it while you’re heading for the M1 from the Woodhead pass. Most of the shops are of the outdoor type but there’s local market stalls, supermarkets such as Aldi, and the rest is an excellent selection of food outlets and cafes. Really worth a stop off for a bite to eat before you get on the M1 for that long drive!

  • 3/5 Clifford J. 1 year ago on Google
Nice little retail park with select shops bur very little seating areas and parking is chaotic with no clearly marked out crossing points (just different coloured road sections).

  • 4/5 Paul 1 year ago on Google
Small so not overpowering shopping centre. Central areas are outdoors much better than the enclosed malls. Loses a star because of limited variety of shops. 4 or so places for lunch.

  • 5/5 Penny W. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of parking, electric charging spots too, markets on Fridays, car wash can be done while you shop if you desire and the place is kept clean and tidy. Toilets are a bit hidden but there are some not far from the Barclays cash point, you need to go inside some glass doors and go upstairs to find them. There are some toilets also in Aldi which I believe have disabled access.

It's a good range of shops for a small shopping centre but the parking and wait to drive in on a busy weekend certainly puts me off going regularly. Good for eating, coffee shops and general shopping, including some designer shops too. Wouldn't go every week personally but good to visit now and then for a coffee, and quick shop/browse.

  • 1/5 Heather S. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing shopping centre with great food... I love it here. But just got fined £100 for overstaying the 4 hours free parking by 20 mins (which I didn't know about). I had a private wedding dress appointment with my Mum in the Centre, & we went for lunch & visited a few shops after to buy treats for my Baby Niece. What a downer on an otherwise joyful occasion!!!

  • 3/5 Hannah M. 1 year ago on Google
It's fine for local shopping, Pontis is quite nice! Does a good pasta, average priced Italian! Probably expensive for this side of Sheffield but worth it I'd say. Nothing much to say about the shopping centre, feel like it's trying to accommodate to your country bumpkin/outdoorsy type with a plethora of outdoor and bike shops!!

  • 3/5 Abbie W. 1 year ago on Google

Visited here about a month ago. Nice few shops, very clean. Toilets are nice. The soap was lovely. However, I wouldn't recommend the hand moisturiser in the toilets as I'm still working it into my hands now. Hands are very soft mind... keeps the Mrs happy.

Updated review as a disabled person and blue badge holder. This place has a huge carpark with only a few of the spaces designated for blue badge holders. On top of that they are often occupied by non badge holders and Fox Valley seems unwilling to police this. Very frustrating given many of the general spaces are unoccupied. Needs to do better.

Had a lovely 3 hours wandering around the shops, lots of places to sit with a coffee or drink. The water splash area is great for younger children.

To be honest I have been going here for a few Months just because it's closer and easier. From the very beginning the owner was rude no manners and down right unhelpful. The way he speaks to customers is quite arrogant. He was charging me £8.00 for Months then decided a smaller Mokka was £9.00. He started getting rude and stated accusing me of this and the other when I queried the price. He charges what ever made he is in that day. Would not advise to use this car wash ever......

I went to locate the shopping centre and do a bit of shopping. No problems parking for all people. There were enough well branded stores to browse round to make it a good days shopping and you are able to park for free for four hours. Well worth a visit and will go back there.

We usually visit Fox Valley about twice a year. We went Friday 11th August. It was nice to see new shops and a small market every Friday. It's worth a visit. There's a variety of eating places. There's an aldi. Boots, Go Outdoors, Home bargains. Mountain Warehouse, Regatta, The Range. There's a lot more, these are the shops we went in.

  • 4/5 ZoSo Z. 8 months ago on Google
Great shopping estate. Many varied outlets selling good quality products. The only issue, and my reason for only giving four stars, is not enough parking places and what spaces are available aren't very well set out.

  • 5/5 Keely H oh S. 7 months ago on Google
Lovely place to shop. You can change your car well you shop. There's a limit time you can stop. I think it is two hours you can always have a look yourself. After what you have to pay. It is done by you driving in by your reg number plate . Trust me, you will get a parking ticket if you are over and you haven't paid. Good luck 👍

  • 3/5 Kat 5 months ago on Google
Some nice shops and restaurants as well as a lovely department store. The car park is manic and there is only one way in and out so it gets very tricky to park and even harder to get out of your space at busy times as frustrated drivers do not give way. Very tight spaces. Fines will be issued if you overstay. When the limit is 2 hours, it's not much time to enjoy a meal and shop. Bit of a cheek for the greedy land owners to do this.
