It was really quiet in here. Friday night used to be heaving. Nice bar staff and good drinks.

Great place to visit for unique food and drink experience.

The pizza restaurant was great. Fresh food served hot enough to make lava look like a coolant, and a fast yet attentive service. Every member of staff was a delight to speak with. Very friendly. Perfect for if you have 40 mins or so before a theatre show starts. Note that you may need to book as it's a small and cozy place with only a handful of tables.

I recently visited the upper level night club and was quite disappointed with my encounter with the doorman. While I understand that doormen have a challenging job in managing access to the club, my experience was far from pleasant. Unfortunately, the doorman came across as unfriendly and unprofessional. There was a noticeable lack of courtesy and respect in the way I, and others, were treated. It's essential for a doorman to ensure the safety and security of the club, but it's equally important to do so while treating patrons with respect and dignity. My discomfort was exacerbated by what seemed like a lack of consistency in the doorman's decision-making process. Some individuals were allowed entry with ease, while others faced undue obstacles. This inconsistency added to the frustration and confusion. Furthermore, I was disappointed by what appeared to be a lack of willingness to address issues raised by clubgoers. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential in this role, and it seemed lacking in this particular instance. In conclusion, my experience with the doorman at [the upper lever night club] left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I hope that the club management can take steps to ensure a more positive and respectful experience for all patrons in the future.

I like it. Staff very friendly only thing is music it's too loud you barely can speak with your partner (colleges) but in general it's really good have a lot history, prepared for not having cell phone signal because is underground the pubs and bar but as I said in general I like it nice place for Friday night.

Interesting place to visit with subterranean bars and eateries. Found Saturday night a bit noisy in that it was difficult to have a conversation with my friend. Would definitely return, but perhaps in the daytime, when I suspect it would quieter.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here at the weekend. Didn't even know it existed! Looking forward to making this a regular haunt for our weekend nights out.

Sunbridgewells impressed as an atmospheric city centre place to eat and drink. It was welcoming and had a handful of venues under one roof. The history of this location encompasses use during the middle ages to hosting an underground club during the 1960s.

Nice old style pub like a big mill with lots of floors to explore. Nice old steam engine and mad scientists laboratory. Nice bar staff and nice patrons.

This place is absolutely awesome all kinds of amenities to choose from a great stone baked pizza place to a nice chilled out pub with a creepy dungeon vibe.

What a brilliant place this is. It's situated in the city centre of Bradford under the streets there are many different bars here and your spoilt for choice. You could spend all day down here and still not go in every bar. It's well worth a visit and I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is good too.

It's an OK quiet boozer, feels very closed in due to being in tunnels from years ago. A little expensive as they must have huge overheads

Haven't been in the place since it first opened when it was packed. The Saturday night I went in recently (June 23), it was dead with many of the former vendors and bars now gone.

It's had a bit of a revamp recently. If you haven't been before it is worth a visit for the quirkiness of the experience. Service is good, drinks are a little more expensive than most places in town

It was a Friday evening and pretty quite. But the staff where lovely, cocktails 2 for a tenner which is always a plus.

Absolutely amazing little hide out didn't even know it was there fourth time to Bradford, stopped the weekend wish we had stayed longer lol . Bar staff amazing too a shout out to Alex who served us today fantastic guy and so funny 😁 can't wait to go again 😀. From Paul and Lisa Whiting xx

Rude staff,the gate was open so me and my partner ventured in it was 1.58(it opened at 2pm ),looked me up and down because I was I'm a wheelchair, asked how we got in ,explained the front gate was open and even tho there was 2 people in there we got told to go bk to the gate and wait all for the sake of 2 minutes bare in mind it was raining outside and cold ,I told her I didn't like her attitude and appreciate that there was 2 minutes before opening but she could have handled it alot better ,her attitude could have been alot better considering she works with the public ,I didn't see the problem with us waiting in the corridor when other clearly were and never got told to go bk for the sake of 2 minutes,never will I grace them with my custom ,and they boast its wheelchair friendly when it is not the cobbles are too much and the staff attitude stink ,I leave reviews everywhere I go and never have I been somewhere I felt so belittled by a woman half my age ! I would recommend giving it a wide berth unless you want speaking to like your dirt

Awesome eating and drinking Venue in the heart of Bradford's City Centre. Independent hostelries within a labyrinth of quirky tunnels and passageways covering three floors, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Great place 👌

Amazing place. Hard to believe its history and what it was before. Highly recommend a pub crawl around the bars.

OMG! What can I say?? It was Amazing! The Jerk chicken and Mango salad is to die for! Partner had 1/2 Jerk chicken with coleslaw and was really impressed!. Definitely be a regular here. Thank you so much 😊

We went on a Saturday afternoon before a football match. Staff were friendly, beer was adequate & good value. We ordered pizza from the pizzeria next door who brought it to our table in the bar next door. The pizza was very good! I suspect it’s much livelier of an evening than early doors Saturday lunchtime. A lot of places we’re still settling up. I’ll come back!

Complex but interesting place with a history: different bars and other businesses, the underground parts built in an old quarrying mine, and having been reclaimed and rebuilt in a fresh modern way having fallen into disuse after its use as a club in the 60s.

Great combination of bars, pizza's & shops, including the new "coffee booth", providing gourmet roated coffee beans & hot drinks.

I absolutely loved the place, there’s so many varieties here… loved the Italian pizza, it’s authentic 🍕🍕and the local Latina bar, Simon, the host was amazing to make all sorts of cocktails from Loca Latina (there authentic sweet gin) to malibu, fireball shot( it’s amazing)I’d love the margarita pizza to top it all, and of course very hospitable hosts 🥰🥰 You must definitely give this a shot ❤️❤️❤️

The atmosphere is incredible in this bar, with the walls giving a proper feel of being underground! When I used the toilets they had been kept very clean, identifiable by a clear sign. The bar was epic to eat and drink in, having a tunnel shaped ceiling and lights overhead as well as at the feet level! It was comfortable to sit down and my flavoursome drink was served quickly, followed by a true Italian pizza that was delicious.

Lovely totally different place to go relax and c the history b4 u in the photos tunnels n relics. I would certainly recommend . The staff I meant were very friendly and obliging x
