A nice arcade in the Victorian tradition. Outside under renovation in 2023. A collection of independent retailers and a few offices. I can recommend the cafe on the ground floor, lovely food and the staff chatty and bright. Porter Hill Tea on the second floor, sell an amazing range of teas and blends from all over the world and are happy to blend whatever mix suits you, such friendly and knowledgeable staff. Next door to PH Teas is also a friendly and interesting shop selling allsorts of lovely art, curios and antiques. Well worth a visit.

There's a brilliant café there, the best art shop in west Yorkshire and an amazing tea shop on the very top floor selling novelty teas from around the world and all that is needed to make a grand cup o' tea.

Beautiful Victorian shopping arcade full of independent makers and businesses. Arcade coffee does incredible food and coffee in this beautiful setting. It offers a well stocked art supplies shop and many small creative businesses. Often has installations and artwork to see. A stunning building, a hidden gem!

Like a step back in time. Plenty of good food and drink to be had. Nice to see this Victorian arcade still doing well.

Absolutely beautiful Arcade with a wide variety of shops and businesses. With a tea company, gothic ephemera, retro furniture, arts and crafts, bespoke jewellery, a florists, cafe, beauty therapy and more, it really is amazing how underused and underappreciated. A Huddersfield gem and well worth visiting all the floors.

Really great food, friendly staff and a wonderful, atmospheric setting in the arcade. Lucky to have a grand daughter at Huddersfield Uni so we eat there when we visit. I would eat the every day if I could. A real Dickensian gem of a place.

I purchased over £2000 worth of autographs from a shop in Byram arcade in June 1998-Ive still all the autographs-I later found out they all fake! I want this pursued so I can have my money back. Does anyone know what the shop was called? It was at the very bottom back Right. If anyone can assist please contact.

Absolutely amazing survivor - a three (four) story Victorian extravaganza of cast iron, light and woodwork. A few excellent shops ( yes you Calder Graphics) and a tearoom. Escape to another era.

Only a few units are filled but great shops over multiple floors (there is a lift) in a lovely arcade. Unfortunately all the shops are not always open.

Love this Arcade. It's always a pleasure, the architecture is magnificent. Today I went to Calder Art Supplies and their IT Guy served me. He went over and above in his customer service. I won't say what it was! But I was impressed. Thank you so much. I've never been disappointed with all the other staff and their service. Nothing is too much for them. If you get chance to eat at the Arcade Cafe, your taste buds will not be disappointed. The other independent stores are great too.
